While there needs to be consequences for what he did , he shouldn't be abused in an inhumane way. Thats just wrong. Godbless him ,i hope he gets out soon and has a prosperous future and life ahead 🙏💕
Society so called justice torturing, abusing a young person like Jason is not the answer. Its an easy one for those who don't care, makes you with the snarky looks and comments feel better. Jason and many other young people are written off because we walk away, close our ears and eyes. these children are indicators of an unjust corrupt society that punishes its vunerable first and always. It rewards the haves and slaves too the system, bugga the rest. If Jason was your son you wouldnt be so quick to judge. Have you seen the broken souls that walk our streets. Grow up and give them a chance, wrap around supports for Jason and whanau. Or is it this system that feeds off the funding that offers no early interventions. This type of justice punishes and traumatises the whole whanau. Wake up Australia. Wake up humanity Nga mihi aroha ki a koe Jason me ou whanau.
@metuasyme2152 Sadistic staff their only children. This treatment is not humane and their not animal's. Australia 🇦🇺 🪃 doesn't care for the first nation's at all .
Spending that sort of time in strict isolation... will almost start to drive him insane unfortunately 😕 the mind is delicate especially for someone so young at 18 years of age Poor lad 👦 And yes he needs to face justice for his crimes but it's overkill to keep him in a cell 22 hours a day He needs human contact for the most part as we all do so all these visits his mum drives 6 hours for and 6 hours back he needs that with his mother
Had nobody been caught for that aggrevated burglary where would they be today? Young Fulla is Beyond the youth age now, it's time for mainstream prison.
This makes me cringe overkill on behalf of the police and staff.Theu are just young youth 😳 can't the police handle them instead of mishandling them .😢
Sad part is that many of the prison officers in WA and the NT are also Maori. Hope this kid pulls throught. Makes better decisions and has a life better than what he chose. I feel for the kid.
It is sad for the elderly man ! Those boys need a good hiding and owe the man 20percent of their income for 10 years weather that be at mcdonalds. Encourage to work so they dont steal but not put in jail 100plus days in a isolated cell for 22hours a day over 3 years.... youv created another offender.
No Mother Has Crocodile Tears When Your Child Is Incarcerated, of course what those boys did was HORRIFIC & DISGUSTING!!Its obvious by your JUDGEMENT you know SHET about REAL LIFE & SOME OF THE UNFORTUNATE BEHAVIOURS THAT COME WITH IT IN THIS DAY & AGE, he's was just a kid...she's just a mother! Came here to say the same. No sympathy for the kids. Sorry not sorry n

They may be kids but they weren't put in jail for helping little old ladies to cross the street.
Sounds like her child committed some kind of horrific crime and is being punished correctly
I think it's against humane rights to leave someone in solitary confinement like that
sounds like you have no brain
I have zero sympathy. It's always the same with these people. 🙄 They are their own worst enemies. Always have been.
Spoken like a true child abuser.
