@citrusvenom I would suggest a drum machine if you don’t already have one. What I did was practice improvising stuff with the drum machine at tempos comparable to whatever song I was trying to learn. Then after I got comfortable playing at that tempo I’d go back to working on whatever cover that I had been working on.
