I’ve been using Cantu for 4 years now and I absolutely love it on my hair!! 😊
I have wavy hair and been using Cantu for 1.5 years now. Best decision ever! 🧡
After 2 years old comment. Do you still use cantu hair product?
@@sharifmdhasan3710 I use Cantu conditioner, it's the best.
I heard horror stories of it being bad for wavy hair but personally it works great for my wavy hair
same
I have 2a hair, i use the curl activator and twist and lock gel... 2 Dime sizes on sopping wet hair. Holy crap my hair has never felt so good, soft, yet defined. Im sold on cantu. I cant stop touching my hair and looking at myself in the mirror. Ive tried shea moisture before and it didnt come close to cantu.
I'm so glad I read this, I'm reading everywhere that the gel made people hair very dry and frizzy
I haven’t tried other products but I love the curl activator. I just have to use the tiniest amount for my super thick hair, but it gives great results
Yes it’s one of my all time favourites too!
Ooo I think I am going to try that too. Is there slip?
Great video Alina. I love the Cantu Activator Cream, my fine high porosity hair loves the added protein. A little really does go a long way. It emulsifies so well. This together with the Cantu custard always gives me good results. I think people find it heavy as you only need small amounts of these products x
Yes absolutely! If I would be using only two products you mentioned I would get much better long-lasting results. Tho now looking back I actually had really great wash day not sure what I was complaining about :D
Love the smell of cantu. Reminds me of being on holiday
I feel sometimes it could be a bit too much for me 🙈
Nice video! I have 2b-2c hair, and have discovered Cantu products. I use the custard followed by the avocado curling cream and it does wonders to define my curls/waves and tame frizz. I also like the avocado shampoo and conditioner. I thought these products were too heavy at first, but I realized I was using too much, especially with the custard - a little goes a long way. TFS 💗
The custard was the first product I tried when I started out! This video was super helpful, I loved it ❤️ I had put the custard aside in favour of other products because as a wavy I felt like it might be a bit much, but you've encouraged me to give it another go!
I think when you use it as the only moisturising product in the routine it can go really well, especially when you top up with hard holding product on top either gel or a mousse
@@SwavyBlonde That's a really good tip, thank you! 🙂
Cantu is designed for a wide variety it's more moisture and the shampoo gets rid of product build up so it's just gentle and softens hair it's better for my hair type!
I've been wanting to try cantu for a while now but everyone warned me off because they are too heavy, I think I'm going to give them a chance. thank you for this video
How was your experience? ❤
@@meaning-mcmeaning unfortunately I weighed my waves down 😞 but I've found jist by wetting my hair and squishing it up into my hands brings the waves back to life x
my hair type needs tons of moisture and Cantu is just perfect also i love ur hair
I love Cantu! Great, inexpensive products, plus LOVE the smell! Smells like a pina colada. 👍
Yes tho smell is not for everyone 🙈
My wavy hair lives Cantù… I tried other expensive brands but Cantu has given me the best results
I haven't tried Cantu products yet because I have some Tigi products that I'm currently using. But I am tempted to give them a try now. I'd definitely like to try the curl activator.
Good product to start with and it will last you for ages!
I had the same impression about this brand when I started 4 years ago until I found my way around them. I believe I didn't know why I was using what product and what I wanted to achieve. I realised I was using too much product. My favourite is the curl activator cream and I'm using the custard as well. Another thing that worked for me was the use of a wet brush to distribute the product.
I love the Cantu co-wash shampoo. That is what I use plus the conditioner. Then the curl activator. At times my hair is weighed down, other times not. I am learning about crunching my curls, and working the product in, plus micro fiber towel. Thank you for the video, it helped show me products I hadn't seen yet. 😀
Oh I never tried co-wash. To be fair never a big fan of cowashing as my scalp tends to be really greasy 🙈
@@SwavyBlonde I use it in place of a shampoo. It is lighter, in my opinion, but gentle on my colored hair. And I use the creamy leave in conditioner, not the curl activator, sorry.
I’m a newbie. Bought them all. But hadn’t a clue in what order to use them. I’m going to try using less of them. I also found them heavy. Thanks for the video.
tengo cabello 2b/2c y me encantó el curl activator, es el que mejor le ha hecho a mi cabello
I love the Avocado Curl Activator! But I haven't tried any other Cantu products.
I think it is almost the same ingredient list to the usual one but just a different smell and I honestly use it very often in my routine
Your hair looks amazing using these products with your techniques. I’m. Or interested in trying this brand.
I am definitely in the same boat-I haven’t tried them because I’m scared of them😂 but I’ll have to try them separately!
If to use in really small quantities I believe it will work for you!
You look fabulous girl!
This looks so gorgeous! Thank you for the video 😍
I use the custard (I think because I saw it in one of your videos) and I love it
today I got the cantu shampoo and conditioner for curly hair . Hoping for the best x
I just subbed you. I have 2c hair and I just bought cantu products to start the wavey hair routine. I didn't get the gel. I want to see if I can achieve results without geling my hair like that. Loved your video.👍😻
Is all that products leave in?
And the next day how would ur hair look like ? Same or back to normal?
Another Q does is get your hair greasy earlier than no products?
Where is your accent from? If you don’t mind me asking 😅
My only worry is does your feel really sticky - next question how is it day old hair?:) x
Great and useful Video 👌👍 thanks!
Your hair is very pretty :)
I have very fine, color processed (blonde balayage) naturally wavy hair , and I have a lot of it and quite a lot of body too.
Are these good products for fine hair ?
I’m interested in the curl activator and do they have a deep conditioner …?
I’m kinda afraid they may weigh my hair down .
yes, it sounds like it might be slightly heavy for your hair. If you'd like to try it, just get activator and use a tiny tiny bit of it instead of leave in
Just using the spray now!
I’m curious if you let it air dry from dripping wet without any towel drying?
I've used this on my 2 b-3a hair. Its ok the first day bit imo doesn't look that good day 2, 3 etc. Also a bit greasy. I really like the Suave coconut and shea butter curl cream.
Oh I wish that product would be available to me! Yes, I agree, a bit heavy for wavy/loose curly hair.
I have curly, wavy hair with extensions into my hair that are locking up .. can I use this cantu curly activators cream on my hair
I have wavy 2b hair the custard is too heavy for waves. I would go for a lightweight products
I can feel the back pain after that shower ended😂
Ps your hair is so pretty.
I’m 90% sure this person has a perm that has a grown out
Dear I have a perm now, but I didn’t have it on this video. Go and check how my hair looks like now on IG to see a difference
You're hair is more in between wavy and curly but more on curly side
I like it it's beautiful
Cantu is used for to use curly hair
It says on their bottles that it's for natural curls, coils and waves. Not just for curly hair..
Me be like; have a very ugly hair curls...watching this but still can't have a nice hair cuz im broke😭
I threw all my cantu products out. It's bad for your hair and scalp, they have added ingredients to the new line and it's not the same.
I discovered Cantu about a month ago and it changed my hair for the better! However, I was shocked to learn that it is not that good for long term usage .. something about it’s chemicals that is bad for us in the long run ..
All chemicals are bad in a long run. It’s a good practice to change your products after you finish them for another brand so that your hair don’t experience any ingredient build up. But in general, I wouldn’t worry about Cantu too much.
Why cantu is looking so much greasy on my thin hair,my hair looks oily with it, i don’t know what should i do with it
Because cantu is a haircare product made for black people hair type, that's why your hair was so oily
It is horrible for my wavy hair. I end up with such greasy and stiff hair, even if I’ve only used a dime size.
Apparently when this happens (using a dime size is too heavy/makes it too greasy & really weighed down) its actually best to try with a pea size amount as a dime size is too much for some hair.
Clumos juixy is nice word
Elena do you like your hair massage
You are sooo sweet....
Will thin out your hair. You've been warned
What do you mean, why?
