    I have 2a hair, i use the curl activator and twist and lock gel... 2 Dime sizes on sopping wet hair. Holy crap my hair has never felt so good, soft,yet defined. Im sold on cantu. I cant stop touching my hair and looking at myself in the mirror. Ive tried shea moisture before and it didnt come close to cantu.

    Great video Alina. I love the Cantu Activator Cream, my fine high porosity hair loves the added protein. A little really does go a long way. It emulsifies so well. This together with the Cantu custard always gives me good results. I think people find it heavy as you only need small amounts of these products x

      Yes absolutely! If I would be using only two products you mentioned I would get much better long-lasting results. Tho now looking back I actually had really great wash day not sure what I was complaining about :D

    Nice video! I have 2b-2c hair, and have discovered Cantu products. I use the custard followed by the avocado curling cream and it does wonders to define my curls/waves and tame frizz. I also like the avocado shampoo and conditioner. I thought these products were too heavy at first, but I realized I was using too much, especially with the custard - a little goes a long way. TFS 💗

  • @nummy_nummers
    @nummy_nummers 3 года назад +12

    The custard was the first product I tried when I started out! This video was super helpful, I loved it ❤️ I had put the custard aside in favour of other products because as a wavy I felt like it might be a bit much, but you've encouraged me to give it another go!

    • @SwavyBlonde

    I had the same impression about this brand when I started 4 years ago until I found my way around them. I believe I didn't know why I was using what product and what I wanted to achieve. I realised I was using too much product. My favourite is the curl activator cream and I'm using the custard as well. Another thing that worked for me was the use of a wet brush to distribute the product.

    • @SwavyBlonde
      @SwavyBlonde  3 года назад +8

      All chemicals are bad in a long run. It’s a good practice to change your products after you finish them for another brand so that your hair don’t experience any ingredient build up. But in general, I wouldn’t worry about Cantu too much.

    • @CharlotteSteele-gg4ss
      @CharlotteSteele-gg4ss Год назад +1

      Apparently when this happens (using a dime size is too heavy/makes it too greasy & really weighed down) its actually best to try with a pea size amount as a dime size is too much for some hair.
