what are some of your favorite gameplay scenarios?
I do rotational play where each household focuses on specific packs. (One household might be a single pack like Vampires, but another might be a hybrid of Get Famous, Spa Day, and Luxury Stuff Pack) I still play slow, and embrace my Sims wants, let them choose their likes and dislikes, and embrace the drama. One example: I had a Sim get another Sim pregnant inbetween rotations. (Yes, neighborhood stories is turned off for my playable households, and male Sims can get girlfriends not living with them pregnant. Suddenly the girlfriend came over and proposed. As a player I was not anticipating any of this. But knowing my Sim, I had him not only say yes, but elope right then and there in his living room… and he still had another girlfriend on the side that he was going to have to break the news to). I play 18 households and it gets really fun when the different storylines start to entertwine. I keep current storyline notes in household descriptions at the end of their seven day rotation, plus I keep notes on my Sims in my phone. Try to get out of “God-Mode” and figure out who your Sim is, and play to help them guide their stories. This helps get more bang out of your buck from all that purchased DLC too.
I love all of these tips! Thanks for the video
a good way to have more interesting dynamics is not always choosing good traits but choose more conflicting traits and dont always select good social interactions but choose more triggering socials the longer you play a family and build skills the more social interactions you unlock, the whole new sims like and preferences for sim conversation topics and characteristics really help
Love this! I love using contradictory traits to make sims not compatible, it’s a much more realistic gameplay and it lets you explore more traits that you maybe wouldn’t have used before hand!
What’s your favorite trait to play with?
@@TinyMacPlays I have a couple my favourite traits are evil it's just more fun the social awkward trait is really good and challenging and erratic it's hilarious 🤣
@@TinyMacPlays exactly i try and make things a bit wacky to cause more sentiments between my sims and the townies which helps towards dramas
Totally relateable. Thanks for the ideas.
