Damn true. I am 30+ and can easilly say that "having a punk attitude can go with you all life and it has nothing to do with fashion. Standing up for yourself and not being a "scenekid" is more punk than any old jacket.

At 37 having listened to rock and roll, which is what punk is in a purer form than a lot of what you hear out there, for ages and ages, I have to say the Street Dogs still deliver, despite all the hipster drivel in the comments.
Anyone saying this isn't in any way punk should just go back to whatever hipster suburb dump they think they're cool in and stay there until they can actually reflect on what they are listening to and their own comments.
I have no clue how I’ve never heard of these guys before, Street Dogs and Dropkick Murphys are easily my favorite punk bands

Yudha Pratama I had the pleasure of cutting Lars Fredricksen’s hair. What was supposed to be a 20 min cut turned into almost an hour long conversation. He was so cool and still a blue collar musician. I think it’s ok these guys make money off their music. His barbers back in CA are a bunch of old dudes that smoke grits in the shop. His main concern was his boys and their well being. I agree, nothing wrong with making money off art. These guys still work their asses off. I’m four years late but agreed 🤘🏽🤘🏽

I agree. Punk is a feeling, not a dress code. It's a feeling you get when you dance and all the pressure of the outside is gone. You can look to either side of you and know that in that instant these people are feeling everything you are. That too me, is worth more than spending an hour sewing together jackets, patches, and spiking my hair with eggs.

This is without doubt, the best music clip+music combination I´ve ever seen in punk rock so far.
The reason people are saying Punk is dead is because of bands like this. Punk for the most part is about the message, doing your own thing and basically rebelling against society. This is still punk I would say but its more pop punk. And this song and video isn't rebelling or anything, they're just like hey guys! Look how edgy I am with my PBR and how I'm staying up all night. But I do like the sound of this song, and this is all my personal opinion, I'm other's will vary.

Actually, I don't hear any pop in this. In my opinion, the "genre" of this song is just as the title says, It's punk rock with some rock n roll in it, Punk Rock and Roll. And the message of the song is just to have fun, when really that is the sort of true "meaning" of punk. To be happy and just have fun, and not care about what other people think. This is just my opinion, and you have yours.
This song's about having fun. We should all do more of that and less talking about punk being dead. Plus, Street Dogs have awesome messages in their songs for years now, go read the lyrics if you want a message. This song is just a drinking song, man. Punk bands have drinking songs.

Best concert memory: Mike invited me to come see them play Mojo's in Columbia for free on my birthday and dedicated "Bobby Powers" to me. Best night of my life! McColgan is the nicest guy around and it's only fitting that he fronts one of the best bands on the planet.
