Hi Tammy, I read a book that mentioned the conjugation of Korean verbs. For Present tense, the book said that for verbs ending in a vowel, we just drop 다 then add 아요. Or if ending in consonant add 어요. So I'm confused now. Please clarify!

If the stem has a positive vowel, you add [아요].
On the other hands, if it has a negative vowel or a diphthong, you add [어요].

@@g_stly yes. those are irregulars that does not follow the normal rules. There are a number of them, mostly colors.
By the way Tammy, in this video, in what tense are we conjugating? Present tense?
Yes, I introduced the conjugated form of the present form. Past tense is introduced in elementary lesson 19. Please check it!
