The Provincial Park at LML is top notch along with G&S cabins and store. Looking forward to being able to come back. I enjoy your explanation of your different presentations. More Please.
What an awesome start to a trip. Looking forward to seeing what is in the next videos of the search for a giant. I also love the acme hyper rattles, this is my second season using them And they are fish catchers.
Clayton...you inspired me to go and focus on some wallies at a local lake filled with boaters, kayaks, jetskis....but close to home. Yesterday I caught a 4 lber and a 7 lber on a completely overfished lake. One of my favorite days fishing. I could almost hear your voice saying "If you are patient, you can get a handle on a lake and break it down and score." (Clayton) I also was so eager to get that big wally back in the water as quick as possible. I almost forgot to get a picture. These big fish are the future of this lake!! (Clayton) Your videos are educating!! I don't even share any photos with the locals anymore....they always say....("Well you sure as he__ didn't catch that fish on this lake!!)
I have ALWAYS wanted to fish Last Mountain Lake!! Heard many good things about that place and you just reaffirmed my desire to go there and check it out!! It does suck having a guiding season cancelled on myself too!
Clayton, I know you said a year ago that you didn’t want to be a full time RUclipsr, and wanted to go back to guiding, but you are doing a great job with your summer videos. LML, Tobin, and Diefenbaker are lakes on my Canadian bucket list. Looking forward to this series!
When you are at that last point when it gets calm, our cottage is like 1/2 mile south of that. Turquoise cottage white boat house on the point. If you go straight out from there in 23-30 feet you'll find eater walleye.
I like your channel. Since I'm new to the channel, could you make a video going over the setup of your boat? I have an aluminum 16.5 with a 40 Johnson on it and just interested to see how people set up their rigs
I wish you started on dief! I’m still trying to figure it out! Trailers parked all summer here.. but I do have my Tobin trip planned for the second week in July.. will your Tobin series by up then!?! ;)
hey mannn awsome videoo!!!! cant wait for other ones! Question? what model of costal del mar glasses do you have? and what lenz? looking for new glasses! keep it up
Can you explain why you're always pulling out a foot of line when landing a fish? I've seen this in many of your videos. At first I thought you were testing your drag but at 11:33 you do it when the fish is coming up near the surface with no resistance.
I adjust the exact length I want to keep the fish in the water with still applying pressure so I can land the fish. It's all a feel thing, because you don't want to apply to much pressure at the water surface and pop the hook. In that case you are looking at I had reeled him a little too far to make a smooth transition into landing it.
Thanks for the video Clayton. I'd be curious how you graph in or near rocks.... I have side imaging and struggle to interpret the difference, almost never using it. Does it have a place or just sonar and down?
I talk about this in the newest video :) Really want to match the rod to the size of your bait. I find a fast action rod the biggest thing to look for. A little bit longer in length is nice to keep the fish pinned as well....
When are you going to partner up with Franks? The commercial writes itself: Clayton sitting in the middle of a lake eating fish doused in hot sauce. Turns to the camera and says, “I put that Schick on everything.” You know, to keep it PG.
I’m at rowans ravine right now at Underwood site 21 it would be my dream to fish with you but I don’t have a boat do you know where I can fish inshore and what can I catch
I would love to do that to the government in a heart beat, but I would never hurt a small local store though, they don't want the masks either, they just do not want to get shut down.
I’m sorry you can’t guide buddy I hate how Canada is handling covid I’m surprised any businesses have survived! But I love the series idea thanks for bringing it to us. I love watching your videos on my long drives to my fishing destinations! I learn and stuff entertaining
were you too excited to be able to remember the size of the reel lol. "1000 size reel" just as the camera shows its a 2500. calm down clayton. calm down
Seriously the Canadian government needs to pull their head outa their butt and open up the borders. They literally have everyone terrified. It’s getting ridiculous at this point. Sorry buddy I feel for ya and I hope you are doing well with the RUclips revenue.
13:45. Just a golden moment.
Love that hookset just as those guys are telling you how slow it is.
Quite the timing!
C.S.O.- "Welcome back"
It's Great to be back
HAH!! That is awesome!!

It sure is a great place!
Nice Walleye! Looking forward to the series.
Will be a good one :)
Great video Clayton keep them coming.
Thanks as always man!
Well we didn’t stay on the ole crank bait to long huh ! Good job ! Enjoyed !

I always enjoy your videos.
Really appreciate you watching!

The Hyper Rattles have been amazing!
Thanks for the video Clayton.. Already want to see the next one. Good luck this week..
Thanks for watching! Cheers!

Awesome story! Good for you for taking care of the big fish. I wish everyone would do that! Congrats to you!
How many more incredible videos can you share??!!
Thanks so much Clayton!!
MANY MORE!! :)
Thanks and CONGRATS ON 50K!!!
Thank you very much!
Wow First session Good start
Was the slowest day I had too :)
Bucket list lake for me! Along with Dief.
100%
Can’t wait to see you out there!
Say Hi :)
Love it how you caught that big one when those other guys were going by!! Lol!! “Kinda Slow”!!
Just blind luck hey? Like he was right! It was a very tough day for me too!
No kidding! Perfect timing! Just enjoyed it cause he was trolling close to you and no one else was in site!! Great catch!! Keep up the great work!!
Awesome catch! That's how fisherman role on Mille Lacs too. Nobody else on the lake and people still troll by within feet of your boat
I have ALWAYS wanted to fish Last Mountain Lake!! Heard many good things about that place and you just reaffirmed my desire to go there and check it out!!
It does suck having a guiding season cancelled on myself too!
You need to get there! Sorry to hear about your season as well... SUCKS!
Too funny...guys roll up on you and lay into a 28.5"er. Nice work Clayton. Looking forward to some LML action.
man... was unreal timing haha!

Appreciate the kind words man!! I do miss guiding a LOT but I am learning lots with fishing myself more.
That were all nice bites. Beats my pb of 23" hoping to break the 25" mark this year. Great video Clayton 👍
I hope you break your PB! :)
Makes me wanna get back into Walleye fishing more! Nice video.
I do love me some Walleye fishing!
When you are at that last point when it gets calm, our cottage is like 1/2 mile south of that. Turquoise cottage white boat house on the point. If you go straight out from there in 23-30 feet you'll find eater walleye.
Oh man!! I could have used an eater that day!
Thanks Clayton!!! Keep them go pro's rolling.
Will do!!
Can't wait to get there someday. Sorry to hear about no guiding again this season. 😒
All good! Out of our control for sure!!
Looking forward to the series. Hoping there's some big pike as promised. Lol the big walleyes are ok but I'm here for the giant pike.
hmmm I don't promise and big Pike on this trip... The big Walleye got me pretty... I will be back for the Pike!! :)
Best channel ever love all your content keep it up Clayton.
Appreciate you continuing to watch!
Looking forward to the series 👌 awesome fish!
Cheers dude! Hope all is well!
I like your channel. Since I'm new to the channel, could you make a video going over the setup of your boat? I have an aluminum 16.5 with a 40 Johnson on it and just interested to see how people set up their rigs
I will have to make a boat video soon!
That is amazing! Should come fish lake Winnipeg soon. Btw I watch every single ad, hope it helps. :)
I would like to get there for sure! Soon!
"kinda slow..."
Then Clayton whacks!
Those dudes were WAY too close to him. I would not have been happy about that
That’s how clay rolls when it’s slow he’s still catching pigs.
That was fun to see.
haha... Quite the timing for sure...
Hell ya this series's is going to be 🔥 like all your Videos
Some good ones coming from there :)
@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors that's what I like to hear looking forward to it have a good one
Please! PLEASE! Go to Lake Athabasca for Lakers and pike. It has been a dream trip of mine and would love to live vicariously through you.
I would LOVE to get there one day!!
Congrats on the 50K. You deserve it
Thanks man!
Hey Clayton curious what mic/audio recorder you use? Looking forward to rest of series!
Awesome! Whoa the big 50K subs. Good vibes I bet! 😀👍
50k.... Yup... No clickbait needed either.. Just plain normal fishing videos :)
Clayton you should do a boat walkthrough and a tackle walkthrough
Ya, I really should do something like that at some point!
I wish you started on dief! I’m still trying to figure it out! Trailers parked all summer here.. but I do have my Tobin trip planned for the second week in July.. will your Tobin series by up then!?! ;)
I will likely be hitting Tobin in the fall time... I am thinking anyways....
over 50K subs thats great should be alot more.
Appreciate it!
Anybody notice the weird object in the sky behind Clayton at 17:24
UFO! :)
hey mannn awsome videoo!!!! cant wait for other ones! Question? what model of costal del mar glasses do you have? and what lenz? looking for new glasses! keep it up
I have green mirror 580G. Tuna alleys. Get the frame though that really fits your head well in terms of taking out most of the light
@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors oki! will doo! thank you for answering question! very appreciated! cant wait for next video! thx again!

How much stock do you put in Moon Phases? Awesome channel!!
I find weather plays more of a roll than Moon Phases....
Thanks for the video Clayton. I'd be curious how you graph in or near rocks.... I have side imaging and struggle to interpret the difference, almost never using it. Does it have a place or just sonar and down?
Side imaging in rocks is very hard. I use mostly 2D in amongst the rocks.
You can't go wrong with franks
I agree!
Welcome back to Saskatchewan Clayton 🍺
Cheers!
When you’re snap jigging with the hyper rattle are you constantly moving around with your motor?
Usually moving around slowly... Sometimes I will spot lock on a certain spot as well.
Makes me want to travel to sask
You should!
Clayton what kind of boat do you have?
Currently 185 Comp Tiller (alumacraft)
What length, power and action rod do you use for snap jigging? Thanks
I talk about this in the newest video :) Really want to match the rod to the size of your bait. I find a fast action rod the biggest thing to look for. A little bit longer in length is nice to keep the fish pinned as well....
Can you do a video on targeting fish that are suspended between 25-35 ft in deeper water? I'm struggling to get fish in the boat these days.
I will likely do this later this year. :)
Love the vids clay
When are you going to partner up with Franks? The commercial writes itself: Clayton sitting in the middle of a lake eating fish doused in hot sauce. Turns to the camera and says, “I put that Schick on everything.” You know, to keep it PG.
HAH!! I love that!
What’s the swivel or snap you use on the hyper rattle and do you find it moves more freely with that then with a direct tie or why use it?
I use a small snap. A small Crank snap works the best I find.
I can guide you on Tobin I fished that lake since I was a kid
I love Tobin! :)
I grew up on fishing Tobin
What's your pb
32.5"
That's a monster my pb is 31.5 and I hope to improve on that at some point
Question Clayton, I have a white Evinrude as well, are you worried about future parts for it since they went under?
No, they will still be making parts, we will be ok :)
@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors awesome! I love the 25 2 stroke. Tough engine to beat.
Oh Clay. You should have fished there for Clay vs Jay Vs Uncut
oh I know... Just WAIT till you see the next 3 videos...
@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors I cannot wait!!
Nice! I thought this wasn’t going to be posted till Sunday 💯
That was the plan, but I got it done early :)
I’m at rowans ravine right now at Underwood site 21 it would be my dream to fish with you but I don’t have a boat do you know where I can fish inshore and what can I catch
Wish I could fish with more people! Try to fish at Foxes point, off shore. It is the first big point south of Rowans.
4 hours to get 4 rods out....I'm usually tripping over that many in first 15 min:)
HAH!! I think I had a mess in the first 15 min too! :)
Clayton I have been super curious. Do you use snaps at all, or just re-tie every time? I’m guessing you just re-tie but am not sure?
I use snaps for baits like the hyper rattle. I find it's way easier on the knot when you are snapping a heavy bait
Jig n minnow?
Love the Jig N Minna!!
Woot. New video
YES!! :)
Why no guiding? Alberta is full bore with guiding, pretty sure Kelly at artic lodges is hosting and has his guides out.
We are 99% American Clients...
Just misted you I just made it to the last mountain lake today
Hope you have a great trip!
@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors thanks man have fun on your adventure for the big walleye hopefully you get a 10 plus pounder
Kinda slow
Response: smash hook set 💪🏼😂
So lucky!
I have an idea, tell them to shove the mask where the sun doesn't shine!
Great video again!
I would love to do that to the government in a heart beat, but I would never hurt a small local store though, they don't want the masks either, they just do not want to get shut down.
Very understandable. Government is to big when they can dictate what you wear. Especially something that has same kill rate as the flu.
How's it going?..... Ah, it's slow. (Literally a millisecond later) BOOM!
HAH right? such timing...
Just so you know we already arent wearingmasks in pennsylvania
I’m so jealous!!!
Deef?! Are you going to hook up with A Fishing Geeks collab?! You should!
I would think it's very possible!
I need this

Yup! Eventually!
Meow 🐱
Meow, settle down meow :)
were you too excited to be able to remember the size of the reel lol. "1000 size reel" just as the camera shows its a 2500. calm down clayton. calm down
Haha!! I forgot I had a 2500 reel on that rod actually. Didn’t even look at it....
Aren't you guys getting vaccinated?
Doesn’t matter the government still won’t let us travel. It’s a joke
Seriously the Canadian government needs to pull their head outa their butt and open up the borders. They literally have everyone terrified. It’s getting ridiculous at this point. Sorry buddy I feel for ya and I hope you are doing well with the RUclips revenue.
Ya man, they have everyone terrified... Worst thing is... WHAT IS NEXT??
I’m first
Yes you are!!!
