He has one of the most gentle voices I’ve ever heard in his ballads. It’s just so beautiful and imagine this was a bit of a heartbreaking Korean drama. Also loved the bonus content! He’s such duality of shy, charming, and quiet but also so absolutely captivating on stage.

Jimin is an angel. For me, he is was is called an « old soul ». He’s a wise and very smart guy. Deep intelligence, intellectually (128 IQ, top student at his Busan his high school, now has a master degree (same for V) ) but also emotionally. Out of the stage, he’s quiet and a little bit shy, he don’t like to show his intelligence or his skills, always putting the others on the spotlight. He just show his cute side, often act as if he was the maknae, and enjoy compliment , but even RM said long time ago that Jimin is the more mature and adut-like of all the members, and JHope also quote that's Jiminie is younger but is like a hyung. If RM is the official leader, J Hope the performance leader, Jimin is, in my opinion, the emotional leader, the one who keep stable the mental health of the group, hiding his own struggles and failures. He has a lot of empathy, knows when one of his brother is down, and he is there for him, for listening, caring, hugging, loving unconditionally. But he have a hard journey to love himself and being less harsh on himself. He knows how to express his feelings and emotions, but hide them a lot, cauz he don’t want to made the others worried about him. Complex personality in a perfect body and a charming attitude...
I sing "With You" to my 5 year old daughter before bed like a lullaby and she sings a little bit with me ❤️; so many special memories brought to us by BTS, together and individually 💜

This song went to #1 on many lists immediately. It's his best vocal work to date. I need to find his vlive where he is worrying...will I ever be a good singer? JK got a voice coach. They didn't give Jimin one. So Jimin would go to JK's voice lessons to glean anything he could. He obviously practiced and practiced and learned how to bring out The Very Best Qualities in his voice. You're right. HE IS SO GOOD! He has not performed this song live anywhere. None of them have ever performed any of their OST's live or covers live. Jimin and JHope were roommates for a long time after they moved and got a bigger place with separate rooms. Actually no matter where they moved to..those 2 were roommates. They are very close. And yes, Jimin is very caring. The first to go up to someone who is crying and give them a hug and pats on the back.
And then he stays with you until you are alright. But...a well known secret...maybe not to you but to most long time Army...Jimin has the worst temper that can flare up to 100% really fast.
And guess who is 2nd worst temper?J-Hope. You see they never express that emotion. They keep it bottled up. And when it comes out...watch out! Their anger fits have never been filmed, but just talked about among themselves. And they will be the first to admit it!

He may have a temper, but calm when he speaks his mind, very well spoken. So definitely some maturity there.
Personally, I believe he didn't really need a voice coach, he is much harder on himself than any vocal coach would be.

First time I heard this song I cried so much. So freaking beautiful. Jimin's voice went straight to my heart. But I also appreciate and love the voice of Ha Sung Woon. They are really good friends so it was so nice that they could do an collab together. I hope this was not the last one because they sound amazing together.

Jimin and Ha Sungwoon are besties and belong to a group called The Padding Squad which consists of other idols and a non idol. Sungwoon was a member of Wanna One who disbanded in 2018 and 2019 he became a great soloist til present. Love this OST and the Kdrama it's for.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOMORROW, JIMINAA! 🥳🥳🥳 "With You" was made for the Netflix K-drama 'Our Blues'. There's no live performance for it, unfortunately. It was not promoted and yet it's topping charts on most streams and views! :) Jimin shared his experience making the song, and how he wanted to have a different approach to how he sang it so he could showcase what else he's got. Here are some snippets from an interview with him on Weverse:
//// You released “With You” with HA SUNG WOON. Was it a conscious decision to collaborate with someone with whom you have a well-known friendship?
Jimin: Yes. He was the first friend I made when I moved to Seoul. He’s the first non-school friend I ever made if you don’t include the other BTS members. We used to say, “Someday, when we both make it big, it would be something special if we made a song together and sent it out into the world.” That was the meaning behind it: something I wanted to do someday.
I guess you could say it all started from a promise made long ago.
Jimin: Right. We’d been talking about that for seven years, practically. We would show each other our songs or anything else we worked on whenever we made something. We kept that up and said, “Let’s try making some music together,” and then we really did. It was fun.
Did that have any influence on the tone of voice you chose to go with? You tried singing in a completely different voice than usual.
Jimin: You’re right. It gave me a lot of practice because it was really hard right from the beginning, so I had to redo it over and over. I kept saying, “I’ll try that again from the top,” and changing a bunch of stuff, but it was a lot of practice, and it was a song for a soundtrack, so I tried really, really hard to give it a simpler sound than anything I usually did before.
It’s closer to your speaking voice than your singing voice. It seems like you must have tried a lot of different things in detail while recording, looking at the way your voice overlaps with SUNG WOON’s in the chorus or how the emotion in the melody is reminiscent of the first self-written song you ever released, “Promise,” even though you didn’t write any of the music this time.
Jimin: We tried so many different things. We called each other all the time, and I’m really grateful for the producer who worked with us because I was actually all finished recording, and I kept saying I wanted to try it again from the beginning when we were all finished recording, and I would say, “I’ll try it one more time,” and I could tell that was a lot of hard work for them. It made me feel a lot of different things and it was an important learning experience. I think there were many moments that made me feel that way while we were working on it. /////

Jimin looks like he's a soft little mochi in front of the camera, but his wisdom and solid character shine through in how he interacts with his members and the fans. With you had zero promotion and lots of issues when it dropped (you can see in Park. Jimin intro video) but ended up achieving so much. It beat BTS Dynamite in getting fastesr #1 in 100 countries in iTunes. It did that in 4 hours whereas Dynamite did it in 8 hours
Jimin is my ultimate artist and one of a kind. He is not only naturally talented but also highly altruistic. Jimin’s With You was only recently released in April of this year. My Blues is a K-Drama on Netflix.
(With you is a nice easy one to learn the Korean for). It’s a beautiful song performed by 2 beautiful voices. We all hope for a live performance of it someday!

17:00 Another viewer has mentioned that the clip is from their 2017 FESTA. They get together every year to talk for about an hour. I think you've seen the emotional 2022 FESTA with the Chapter 2 announcement.
It's really interesting to watch these FESTA gatherings back-to-back. You can see their growth as individuals and as a group. In the early days, they were so hungry and driven ... and loud and chaotic. They often stated their goals and we would see those goals already been achieved by the next one. As time passed, we see them grew more mature, more settled, and more comfortable with each other. They also talk about deeper topics, which is why I love the later FESTA dinners more than their earlier ones.

That song 1st listen i was like just a very pretty sweet classic song but it grew on me so much and gets better every listen
I can't remember where he talked about it but he was saying he would normally sing with a lot of stylistic embellishments add notes here and there, riffs etc... but for this his challenge was really to stay true to the purity of the melody and convey all the emotion by stripping all the layers to have that pure minimal result, just his voice!
And that's exactly what it is and it's extremely hard to achieve, his voice was very exposed, vulnerable, and yes I don't know this song is really special

Hi John, thank you for your reaction. This is such a beautiful song for a beautiful Korean drama series. This song went top of the charts for quite a while. It's poignant that Ha Sung-woon is one of Jimin's non-BTS bff's and there is a video somewhere of Jimin accompanying him when he reported for his military service. On the bonus video you commented on V looking at Jimin during a performance? That's their concert in Macau and Jimin was hurt so he had to sit in a chair during "Spring Day". All the other members were patting him and dancing close, making sure he wasn't feeling left out. He stood up and joined the dance at the end because he had a primary role in the ending move. That scene that looked like a meeting - that's one of their FESTA scenes for their birthday as a band.

I love when you said how you like to see those moments that aren’t choreographed since that shows their real character. The end of their concerts when they are working the crowd and are moving around the second stage has many moments like that and I find is my favorite part of their concerts. When I saw them in Vegas there was so much to see like that that you don’t even know where to look and suffer FOMO. I’m glad to know that I’m not alone in noticing those special moments. And can I saw how hard it just have been to belt out a long high note while balancing V on your back (11:00)?

I want to point out that around the blood,sweat and tears era, Jimin dieted like crazy too loose weight and loose his "mochi cheeks"☹️ So the guys complimenting him like that and saying stuff like "he's not the old "mochi" jimin anymore" was so important because they knew how much he struggled with his confidence and weight (even though he's literally always have been super fit) so I love how they paid attention to that🥰💜
