I feel like wasted opportunity was turning Ruby into a secondary character. She had importance in the first season and then her character didn't matter as much anymore.
Ruby’s storyline being pushed to the side coincided with the actress taking a lead role on another show so it’s hard to say whether who was really the driving force behind those changes.
As I mentioned earlier, I think Ruby and Mulan would've made a great couple. Both are strong, brave women in their own ways, they've been traveling companions for a while, they look great together, they support each other, have chemistry... Yeah, they would've made a way better couple than Ruby and Dorothy.
meggie004 If I remember correctly, Ory took the other role because the writers of OUAT were not utilising Ruby. She’d signed on as a series regular in season two and they’d had plot ideas (I remember a romance between her and Dr. Whale being mentioned). But then suddenly they got the rights to Hook and Neverland so it was a bit of “shiny new toy syndrome”. Unfortunately Ruby’s story was what took the hit.
I thought of another wasted opportunity. I think that they wasted the opportunity to make Rumple and Henry's relationship stronger.I would have loved to see more dynamic between the two. I just think that they could have been closer and it would have been nice to see.
I feel like the main wasted opportunity was the untold stories. They could have created original fairytale characters and used that for the sequel instead of doing what they did with Henry
YES!!! When Rumple dies in season 7, Henry, his grandson, shows ZERO emotion! Hook seems more torn up about it, AND HE WANTED TO KILL RUMPLE FOR THE LONGEST TIME!!!!!!!!!!
MorganAnne143 you and me both the last season was basically a failed reprisal of the first season the only good thing that came ov it was the princess and the frog characters
"season 4 was dedicated to frozen. We would have gladly traded it out for other characters like Moana." That would have been impressive considering Moana hadn't even been out in theaters by that time.
😂 true and I really like season 4 but it would have been cool to see Moana in a later season when it was actually out although I don’t know how they would have implemented it into the story
@@danielelizondo7627 she wasn't actually a nun only her storybrooke persona was which means the could have been together and i wish they were but i guess not
@@demiladeadegorusi3961 i wanted them together. But when the curse was broken everyone went back to their "curse job" so maybe that's why leroy and astrid never were a thing
UMMMMM HELLOOOO.....the biggest disappointments in my opinion is Ruby/Red Riding Hood who was Snows best friend barely being in the show period. AND Emma’s character NEVER developing, she stayed the same throughout the entire show. No wonder Jennifer Morrison left the show. This show could have gone on as long as shows like Greys Anatomy. If they truly wanted to. But I feel like the producers lost interest and faith in it. So many wasted opportunities. Dude I wanted to see Merida and the four clans face King Arthur and the knights of the round table. If done right that would have been epic and you know she would have killed him herself.
I enjoyed the underworld arc but merida not getting to be the one to take out king arthur was just horrible. She just shows up for a cameo in that same episode for basically no reason.
@@carlosromero3562 They totally could've done such a cute storyline for Ruby. We could've seen her like break free from her Gran and get a place of her own and we'd get to see more of her style and how she is around her relationships with people she's dating and the townsfolk and she could've had so many storylines that could've gone so far.
Yeah same here and then they paired ruby with another once off character who came back grown up - Dorothy. At least mulan/ruby made sense and actual chemistry due to a few eps together
What also drove me nuts was the fact that they established Mulan as gay, had Red and her travel together for months and Red and Dorothy end up together. WTH. They really really did not want to give Mulan a love interest. Red and Dorothy spend one episode together. Even though Red and Mulan hadn't been seen in a while we knew they were traveling together. It should have been Mulan missing and Red rescure her. We didnt need the addition of Dorothy.
Jefferson was one of my most favorites as well. It would have been cool to see him in more episodes/seasons. Same with Peter Pan. I loved his character as well. The actor who played him was great at playing both sides: good (when he became Henry after they switched hearts/minds/bodies) and evil (as Peter Pan)
Laurawr _ I know I loved Jefferson he was reunited with his daughter and then discarded like he was in 4 episodes and that was it and I loved August they could’ve done so much more with him even if they had showed him at Emma and hooks wedding I would’ve been happy with that
I was totally upset that Ruby became a secondary character . She was so like able and had a great story. I was also frustrated that they killed off Neal/Baelfire especially so quickly because I really liked him and I think they could have done more with him. Also malificent and Lilly should have had more screen time.
I always cry at Neal’s death and it is really sad. But I do think it was necessary for the plot and for captain swan to move forward. Looking back on it after re watching the show over 4 times now
And yet the. s has to boosted numbers. Also a plot was left unfinished, the murder of Charming’s father. And according to the rati NV drops, no one will watch a show where the hero marries a murderer. Murderers will just get killed off in a revival.
The only disappointing things were: 1-Season7 like most of it 2-Dark swan had potential but it wasn't well done 3-neal shouldn't have died 4- king Arthur and Camelot wasn't well done, the underworld was great though
I was kind of annoyed dark swan didnt actually make us hate her too much. All she really did was steal a pick axe and take peoples memories away cos of the hook thing.
I know both of these actors had to leave to work on something else, but I would have loved to have seen more of Graham and Jefferson (but I'm also a HUGE Marvel fan, and I couldn't imagine anyone else playing Bucky)
But Neal would have gotten in the way of hook and Emma's relationship. Also, Neal was 24 and Emma was 17 when they met. All Neal did was get her in trouble. He's a bit of an asshole, and didn't have much of a character arc at all.
Don Quixote and Paul Bunyan were shown in that book found at the end of season 5, yet we just kinda never got anymore of that. This could've easily been in season 7 instead of 2nd rate cinderella family. Along with a lot of other things like city=cathedral=hundback of notre dame story.
Rumple and Baelfire is easily the biggest for me. There are dozens of loose ends that irritate me but none as much as this one. So promising and so forgotten.
SilentSaturn I think what she mean is the fact that Bael died. Bael never had the relationship with his dad and had the proper closure from his relationship with Emma. Or even see his mother. Rumple honestly should have stayed dead when he sacrifice himself to save his family from Peter Pan.
Анна Крижевская but then there were some points when rumple was needed so it wouldn’t have made sense for him to be killed at that point although I’m glad he died in the series finale ever since Belle died rumple had been useless and he died doing the right thing he saved nooks life and let him be with Alice
I feel that killing Neal off was a waste. Even if he was no longer with Emma, he still was a compelling character on his own right, and to be honest, much more dynamic than a lot that came after.
Honnestly i don't think so... Even tho i still think CaptainSwan is one of the major things that destroyed the show let's be honnest... I'd rather have that than an annoying love triangle between Emma Hook and Neal for the rest of the show..
Agreed. This whole show wouldn't have been possible without him since it all began with Rumple losing him and dedicating the next 300 years of his life to finding him. Do you know how many of the characters wouldn't have even existed without Rumple? Regina, Charming, Emma, Henry, Belle probably would have died in the ogre wars.
I think they wasted Merlin big time! That dude was dope! The way he did magic was so different and refreshing, and his character was one of the most intriguing that got added to the show after Pan and Zelena. They killed him off way too quickly!
I'm still bitter about his death. Plus, damn was he fine (not the point, but I have eyes ok). He was also such a force of good for Emma - there was something so soothing and calm about him.
ary i think that would’ve made a good love triangle, it reminds me of emma, neal, and hook. violet (like neal) could’ve been someone that henry loved in the past and maybe still had feelings for, while ella (like hook) could’ve been someone that henry was interested in before violet came back. it would’ve been very entertaining
I'm glad they mentioned the chemistry between Henry and Ivy (Drizella), I thought they could've been great. I loved Ella (Jacinda) and Lucy, but I definitely agree that the Cinderella story was just a little too safe/boring for the ending of the show.
Um excuse me I would not like to disagree with u but there was. So many exciting plots in their story and also Henry never liked ivy the daughter of lady tramaine u mean and also Umade so many mistakes in this it’s not funny you should feel silly sorry but right off the bat you r mixing up the names of the people that means you are prabably not a major fan of the show personally me likening this series so much I even pity u right now
1) Season 5 was a mistake (except the 2 episodes that had nothing to do with the main plot) 2) Belle was wasted as a character. She's my fav but she never had a chance to branch outside of her relationship with Rumplestilskin.
............... What were did dorothy come from?....................... And then they go together for some reason. This isn't twilight with imprinting is it?
@@funtimetoto4389 Red was looking for her pack with Mulan when she stumbled into Oz, where they both met Dorothy. And I din't think it was imprinting, it was more like love at first sight sort of. It kinda came out of no where.
@@joanderson6880 It was a sarcastic kinda joke thing. I was just comparing it to imprinting cuz may i remind you jacob fell in love with bella cuz there was a baby inside her the was destined to become his soul mate. And when he saw her he insantly fell in love.
Lily and Maleficent: Hell, the whole story arc with Lily and Maleficent was wasted! Lily was a baby stolen from her mother before she hatched because the Charmings were scared that their daughter MIGHT be evil. There could have been a whole redemption arc for the charmings (who we never see apologize to LILY) and a forgiveness arc for Lily as she learned to move past her anger. Or Lily could have been the villain in the final season. She would have a good reason for attacking the Charmings and wouldn't feel forced in at the last moment. This arc and characters had so much potential, but they wasted it! Ursula: They just gave Ursula Ariel's story and she deserved her own. Killing Baelfire: Killing Baelfire was the WORST mistake they made in this series. The worst thing is that they had plenty of chances to bring him back, but failed.
I'm forever salty about the Mulan/Aurora/Philip triangle. Not only because it was suddenly dropped but also because most of their story was developed offscreen. They should have gotten a spinoff or at least been heavily focused in a later season.
Mulan I think they had to be careful because it’s Chinese culture. They had to drop it because Sarah Bolger played Aurora left because she got cast in Into The Badlands.
As I stated earlier I am glad that the love triangle wasn't explored. Phillip's kiss saved Aurora from Maleficent's curse, which proved that he was her true love. Also, I honestly believed that the love triangle would've become sloppy and forced just like the one with Jim Gordon, Barbara Keen, and Renee Montoya in season 1 of 'Gotham'. That was one of the many reasons why I gave up on the show right away.
@Whitney Pyant, Jamie Chung left after the third episode of season 3 because she went on to become a series regular in the short-lived series 'Believe'. Sarah Bolger and Julian Morris made a few more guest appearances during that season, but then Morris went on to do shows like 'New Girl' and 'Hand of God'. Bolger made her final appearances in season 4, but then she became very busy with other projects too.
Merlin's death still makes me sad. They could've done so much more with him. He was such a calming moral compass, and really helped to guide Emma towards the light.
Yes, what would’ve been better would’ve been to have Emma actually become evil with Merlin being the one to actually help stop and save her from the darkness. The Apprentice said that only Merlin could destroy the darkness and yet, they didn’t even have him living up to the title of “the most powerful wizard of all time”. That was so disappointing. Also, does anybody think that maybe Emma should have become the Dark One after Rumple sacrificed himself in season 3? As a result of that, Neil would not have been killed off, Storybrooke would’ve remained destroyed and they would not have ended up bringing in so many unnecessary characters. Emma could’ve been the main villain for a good while, which could’ve added more to Regina’s character development storyline and they probably could’ve still fitted in Zelena...
Yea the whole Camelot arc as a whole was the lowest point of the show to me. Dark Swan went nowhere and wasn’t even what it was touted as. Merlin was wasted. Would have loved to stretch it out and have Morgan la Fey as a big bad with connection to the dark one and being the black fairy.
Ikr! Like ik sebastion Stan probably had his plate full with The Winter Solder, but they could’ve at least put in a filler episode of what happened to Jefferson
The Brave storyline. Yes the actress who played Merdia did a good performance. Yet her brothers barely had any character development. The Camleot storyline. Ugh. Guverine is still stuck under the sands of avalon curse! Violet and Henry had great chemistry but alas she was forgotten about...
I’m honestly tired of the whole “we lost our memories of who we truly are” plot. I just couldn’t watch anymore after Henry took over as the main protagonist
A shame since they really did have some great writers on the show - Jane Espenson was a real standout to me. A combination of the actors personal lives, scheduling conflicts etc definately contributed to the way the story was shaped, but still the writing took a turn for sure.
Okay first off 1. Dark Swan was a major disappointment in my opinion they never let Emma do.anything really dark except the first episode of season 5 when she rips Meridas heart out but nothing came of it 2. The Frozon storyline was probably one of my favorites besides season 1 and season 3. 3. Henry and Ella I never really got into as a couple they were cute but I really liked ivy and Henry better but personality I thought that Alice and Robin was the new snow and charming for season 7. They should of had more screentime 4. Everything after season 4 started to revolve around captainswan which hey I liked them as a couple too but give everybody else some screen and story time I would have loved new characters being added and gladly sacrificed some of the captainswan scenes Okay rant over lol
I feel like a wasted opportunity was Ruby/Red/Little Red Riding Hood she could have been a good fighter and a good character but they totally left her personality back in season 2.
@@aryyyyuh hahah they were a cute first-love couple, I don't know if it would've worked with all the travelling Henry did, after all he was still young when it all started.
LunaBlox we all know Ruby is with Dorothy which is why the comment says they should have sailed but didn’t. Ruby & Mulan would have been so much better.
Ms. Mojo.... Moana was released 2 YEARS AFTER SEASON 4! THEY COULDN’T HAVE DONE IT ANYWAY WITH THE INTENDED FINAL SEASON BEING FROM 2016-2017 AND EVERYTHING BEING SET!! CHECK FACTS BEFORE CRITICIZING!!!
To this day I still can't believe how much they destroyed the Dark Swan storyline. It had the best potential and then they crashed it into the ground. I do not understand how Emma can "do an evil act" and then this changes her look (she looks evil) and yet she still continues to be good inside, she just looks evil. Like wtf even is that. I do not believe that that idea came from the same writers that thought up Season 1 and Season 3 (which imo were the best storylines in the show)!
Emma makes mistakes, but she doesn't commit evil acts. Because in S4b it was established that her potential for darkness was given to Lily... That's why the Dark Swan storyline was so logical in that matter. It would have been stupid to retcon what they established in the previous plot.
Well, she did kill Cruella... She just didn't go evil. And she's totally not perfect. However, she's still the only one who can withstand darkness alongside Alice and Anastasia... The Saviour and The Gaurdian. If you know what I mean.
What the hell? Did you even watch S4? It was already established, again, that Emma can't go dark. She doesn't have the potential for darkness. It would have been a stupid idea to make her evil. And no The Dark One plot was the story the writers really wanted to address, and that is why the Underworld story was not thought about nor implemented correctly unlike previous story lines. Lily and Maleficent are just recurring characters their role to the story is limited to what the story needs them to tell. And their story is irrelevant to the plot line the writers were handling, that kind of storytelling is called plot-based(against character-based). I can say you don't like Captain Swan and that is why you didn't like the arc. Personally, I couldn't care less about ships, I only watch the show for the plot. So I can't sympathise with you not liking it because of CaptainSwan.
It kinda would have been cool if Dark One Swan and Lily had ended up bonding over their shared darkness. Remember Lily has Emma's darkness so she of all people knows how it feels. Maybe they would even plot against the Charmings together because the darkness reminded Emma of all her hardships and turned her bitter again.
Lily's father is Zorro (Don Diego de La Vega) - yeah, that's canon, no joke here. He apparently was so in love with Mal that turned into a dragon for one night so she would accept him. But Mal didn't want to settle down and disappeared and Zorro, well, he finds his family much later. Another wasted opportunity for a dramatic romance with all the Spanish passion.
Lmao, no season 7 was absolute shit. After watching that season I will never watch another season of Once Upon A Time again. As of the other 2? You could really tell that the writers just completely ran out of ideas when they introduced the Frozen arc and the totally bullshit Emma is the “dark one” arc. 1. We all knew from the very beginning that Emma would not stay the dark one, like honestly it was predictable that I found it quite boring to watch. 2. Okay, it’s Frozen I don’t even have to say any more. It’s so fucking stupid that they would even introduce the movie into the show like wtf were they thinking? Really it’s sad they had to drag Once Upon Upon A Time out like this, if they just had maybe 3 seasons I feel like it could have had the potential to be a truly amazing show.
@@alexisbaze The only absolute shit is the points you've made. Like what the hell are you saying? Season 7 was brilliantly made, with alot of character development like Drizella's and Rapunzel's. Not to mention the closure each character had was logical and on point. 1. Emma being dark is of course impossible because that's been established in Seasons 4B. But the storyline about S5A was the mystery of what happened in Camelot and why Emma casted a curse. And the reveal that Hook is a Dark One was awesome and unpredictable. 2. The frozen arc included the Frozen story, however this wasn't the point. The arc was psychological to the fullest. From Emma's Loss of control in her power. To the Snow Queen's mentality of a rejected being, and wanting a family that accepts her. So either understand what you're watching, or don't give uneducated comments and call them critiques.
Another thing is the whole Camelot arc, i was greatly disapointed that Arthur became a villain and Merlin was killed of and we never got an answer on what happen’d to the rest of the kingdom including Gwen. And Robin Hood’s character, he didn’t have a storyline by the time he was killed of. And i think killing of Neal was a mistake, maybe he and Emma weren’t gonna end up together but he rarely got to spend time with his son.
That what they did with Peter Pan in season 3, they take iconic legendary figures into villains. I known it's meant to be a twist on these classic stories, but seriously what in God's name were these people writing this show were thinking? They just Arthur into an egoistical, self obsessed, misogynist antagonist. Also why couldn't they include Morgan le Fay or Mordred in this show, they would have been better villains instead of Arthur.
Faïsel El Katbani Heyyyy, that’s no reason to judge someone. I didn’t like Jacinda either, but that’s because I thought her character was basic. You shouldn’t judge anyone for something they can’t control, like the way they talk.
Let's be honest, the show's whole problem is its habit of abandoning subplots and characters without a drop of closure as well as lacking fundamental logic and structure. I still believe we could have ended at Season 3 but no.
Xengar I agree! Season 3 episode 11 could have been an ending (although a very bittersweet one) and all OUAT did after that was keep making new problems that no one asked for (ex. Frozen, Merida, Dark Swan, Serum Evil Queen) instead of continuing more interesting plotlines they already had.
I think Mulan did love Phillip but the writers changed their minds. Mulan treated Aurora kinda badly, acted jealous, and was crying when they thought that Phillip had died. She even said something like "I've known Phillip a lot longer than you have!"
There being no payoff to Mulan's feelings in general was a missed opportunity. They missed out with Aurora. Then they had a chance with Mulan and Merida, they missed out on that. Then they had a chance with Mulan and Red Riding Hood.. they missed out on that.. or rather they didn't miss out, they just brought back Dorothy strictly for the reason of making her Red's girlfriend so that they could get it out of the way and say they created an LGBT couple, one that never had to appear again so they could say "we did it" and get it done with.. not because they actually wanted to. It was sickening. Which is why there was literally no time dedicated to it, and Mulan is still put on the backburner with her feelings.
Aurora was too wrapped up in Phillip she would have never been with Mulan. I always imagined Mulan and Ruby somehow crossing paths they would have me shook as a couple
Ruby and Mulan do cross paths Mulan goes with Ruby to help her find her pack. And instead of them together we get Red and Dorothy. They had a chance to fix that with Merida, because Mulan trains her but nope.
I will always root for Mulan & Ruby. They could have made a kick-ass power couple traveling through realms going on different adventures which could have turned into a cool spinoff with characters like Merida, Ariel, Anna and maybe even Aladin popping up here and there. I was also never a Dorothy fan.
I liked when Mulan and Belle teamed as two warriors trying to prove themselves -- Mulan with her sword and Belle with her mind. I would have loved to have seen more stories showing their friendship.
How about them never again addressing snows blackened heart and her and charming being able to enter glindas bubble thing that only let the purest of heart to enter???
K people always talk about how snow shouldn't be able to enter BUT WHAT ABOUT CHARMING? We see him kill guards and stuff onscreen all the time but it's NEVER MENTIONED! Like, do reginas knights not count as human beings?
Honestly, everything after season 3. They kept cramming in so many characters--who mostly went no where in the span of a couple episodes--at the expense of forgetting about chracters who had been well-establish in the first couple of seasons. And I will forever be salty about the fact that the writers could never make up their mind about Rumple. Regina was given a wonderful redemption arc, but noooo let's continue to make Rumple an awful character when the writers have run out of ideas, it's fine to completely ruin the Rumbelle ship on multiple occasions.
What they did to Rumple and what happened with Rumbelle is what pissed me off the most. I quit after 3 and adding Frozen not too long after it came out was such a cash grab.
SO TRUE! honestly I wish they had dedicated time to other traditional characters during the Frozen half season too, it wasn't necessary to add it since it is not canon they were just playing off the newly popular movie. I agree that the yoyo of character development with Gold was the biggest disappointment in the show. The most disappointing story plot was when Emma became the Dark One to save Gold but he just ended up the Dark One again in the end.
uh.... kinda defending the frozen storyline here but that season aired the year after Frozen came out so Moana couldn't really had been an option then... Mary Poppins and Christopher Robin might have been able to show up though.
But I think this show should have introduced some lesser known fairy tales; like Baba Yaga, Rose Red from Snow White and Rose Red, Donkeyskin, Shahrazad, and Bluebeard. Along with other literary characters; such as Count Dracula, Sherlock Holmes, characters from the works of Shakespeare and Charles Dickens. And the gods from Norse Mythology.
@@willlyon7129 I just saw a 60 facts about OUAT that said Graham (huntsman) was suppose to be Sherlock Holmes originally, but the show couldn't get copyright permission. I think maybe that is why other famous tales are missing. It would have been great to have characters from Narnia, or perhaps some Dickens characters like Tim Cratchit grown up or Oliver Twist. Lots of classic tales were left out.
also killing Neal off before him and Henry got to have a proper relationship. that was one of the saddest things the show did. and I mean if they’d kept Neal, rumple might have started acting like Henry’s grandfather
i was so disappointed that Maleficent and Lily ust disappeared, they didn´t even bother to explain where they went...they talked about staying in storybrook for a week or so and BOOM they are gone and never mentioned again. why do great characters alwas disappear? in most cases its to shove in another Zelena episode, i grew into tolerating her but its no annoying that they always squeeze her in every plotline....
Honestly, what I hate the most is how little sense the "Black Fairy" story makes, and how they missed the opportunity to explain all of the fairy lore. The fairies have been there from the start, and the "Blue Fairy" seem to be a very ancient and important character, yet we know nothing of them, heck, the Black Fairy wasn't even a fairy to begin with.
I loved Neal as a really interesting character in his own right but it seems most people only saw him as a love interest for Emma that was standing between her and hook. It's such a shame because he had such dynamic relationships with so many characters.
Melanie Cusick exactly. Bae had a lot of potential in his relationship with rumple and Henry. I can’t believe that the dark curse (along with everything that happened so the dark curse could be cast) all of that happened so rumple could be reunited with bae. They really didn’t get closure . It was mostly just Neil being angry at rumple and then Neil dying in the span of less than 2 seasons
It would have been fun to see more characters in the land of untold stories. Like a kida and milo from atlantis, or a pocahontas. But after all, we love the show
To be honest I always felt that Henry's relationship with Ella was a really safe and boring kind. If they went with the story of him falling for Drizella it wouldn't or even him falling any different character that wasn't like a main or a like classic character would have made if a more interesting storie.
I’m always going to be salty over Ruby x Dorothy becoming cannon when the dynamic between Ruby x Mulan was way more interesting and actually had more back plot. 😒
Faïsel El Katbani because the show clearly implies it, though it doesn't claim it. Mulan wanted to say to Aurora that she was in love with her, but then Aurora told her she is pregnant and she just left. And yeah, I really don't like Ruby and Dorothy plot. They spent what, two days together? A week? And already true love kiss? Really?
Shekola Carrington exactly, I agree. Season 4 was were it all started to become a bit more bland. Mostley because they put Frozen in there, it was too new and everything felt like cosplay. They didn't create their own version of the classic tale of "the snow queen", they just picked the same characters and backstories from Disney's version. Except for the snow queen herself, almost everything evolving around her was okay. But then it kept going down hill. 😔
“The first half of season 4 was solely dedicated to frozen. We’ll gladly would have traded some of those episodes to see Emma cross paths with Mary Poppins, Christopher Robins or Moana” Me:... Me: first of all no, except Moana, but Moana came out in 2016 and the last episode of season 4 of Once Upon A Time was in May 10th of 2015. 2015. Mate, get your facts straight, don’t criticise on things that are impossible
Moana in 2014? When it came out in 2016? And wasn't the Gideon backstory ripped off from Angel's Connor? Oh, and Jacinda was the single worst. No personality whatsoever. I would've really liked Henry and Nick/Jack/Hansel more, or Henry/Ivy, but no, we had to go with Blanderella.
Well to be honest Jane Espenson did write for both series and her dialogue was pretty good, but it did seem like they were ripping off of Angel with that one
Do you think they had to let go of Ivy/Drizella because the producers noticed her chemistry with Henry and it will shift the supposedly attention from Cinderella-Henry and would ruin the storyline? I just find it odd that they had to remove the actual villains of Cinderella. Also, for some reason, I don't like Jacinda.
The actress playing Jacinda doesn't have villain facial features and her eyes are not strong. I'm sorry but she doesn't have the main character aura and she couldn't carry a show either.
I think for me, I felt that the actors who played Henry & Jacinda didn't have chemistry together. That and I really didn't like Jacinda as a character.
I love the show with every thing in me (along with broadway lol) they didn’t need season 7. At all. And Cinderella was already a character. But they added another one. That’s my opinion
I definitely agree that they didnt utilise the characters they already had given us and popped in throw away characters that dont do much or make us really feel anything for them. Seasons 1-3 were great but i think the show really suffered from season 4 onwards.
They should've transferred all of those characters to OUAT once Wonderland was cancelled. A waste of characters they'd already built up, plus it would get more people to watch Wonderland, even if it was already cancelled.
I think you missed the point of Rumpel. It was his ongoing conflict that defined his character. It would have been all too easy to have his big moment of redemption come too early in the run. RumBelle has to have been one of the best dynamics of the show. I certainly felt the mashup of Beauty and the Beast/Rumpelstiltskin was a really clever dynamic. It would never have worked with any other actors than Robert Carlisle and Emilie de Ravin who defined and redefined their characters season after season. Alongside Regina and Zelena that was one of the most compelling character dynamics on the show. It wasn't always a perfect show but it inspired me week in week out for all 7 seasons. It's like losing your best friends now the show has ended. Mekia Cox would also have been a far better Ella. She just outshone Dania Ramirez in every single scene they shared.
the rumple bell thing was ridiculous i love the beauty and the beast story but that was over and done like after the third season i found it insane how bell would always toy with him deciding she loved him and trying to change him just to drop him again as soon as surprise surprise he did something dark the way she treated him when she was pregnant was abhorrent she obviously knew from balefire that he would never harm his son yet she kept it from him out of spite
Well, in Season 6 she says that what she did was wrong, as "What have we done to each other? What have done to our son?" The show is conscious about this side of Belle, and Belle became a very cool character, after season 2 and 3 made her look so weird in the show, because of the way she portrayed the dilemma of someone you love and at the same time you can't accept being with because they are bad... This side of hers adds so much to the dynamic of Rumbelle.
Drizella and Henry had way more Chemistry! Hate to say it, but jacinda was so boring . We never found out who Lily’s father was, sucked since writers said we would. Emma being the dark one was TRASH, because she was never really dark or evil
Sorry CSers, but one reason why the Dark Swan arc sucked was because they decided to make it all about Hook. It should’ve centered on Emma alone as the Dark One. They should’ve even had Hook (or Regina) try to save her but instead, they made it all about him. The first episode of the Dark Swan arc was so good until they decided to appease the fans of the ship. What is more disappointing is JMo spent time researching about the Dark Swan, but it all seemed put to waste because SHIP.
Jasmin Mariano I love captainswan but your right I mean they really didn’t need to turn hook into the dark one there was no point but I guess they had to get to the underworld for some reason and hook was the best way
Bogdan 96 That would've been good! If only they tried something like that (considering how many heroes and some villains survived the 1st and 2nd curse, and the great assets they were on the battlefields). Then they could shift their focus to the characters of Seasons 5 and 6. I can't believe they shifted the focus from Emma to Hook. That ruined the storyline altogether for me. It also led to more unanswered questions in subplots. That really sucked (more time could've been spent on building and developing the characters who were introduced AND affected the story in a way - too many to name right now). I wholeheartedly agree!💯
i think also they missed out with showing the chemistry between emma and regina? not necessarily as a romantic relationship but even as best friends they really should've shown more of them and their chemistry... anyone else agree? :)
1. Merida 2. Mulan 3. Swan Queen 4. Ruby and her relationship with Kansas which made absolutely no sense 5. Plotholes, especially in S7 6. Rumple story of good and evil is too repetetive and he probably should have died when he sacrificed himself when killing Peter Pan. 7. Maleficent, her daughter and her relationship with Regina + her father 8. Everyone coming back from the dead in general except actors that said goodbye to the show. I watched the show since the beginning and I have loved it ever since but the ending and some choices A&E made are just disappointing and make no sense. It's just really sad since the original story of Once upon a time is great.
I'm sorry but Kansas is spelled with a K not a c sorry just bothered me and yes numbered 4 it because of twilight imprinting( not confirmed but hey it's the only option we have to deal with) And i agree
And they made a huge deal in Neverland about having a baby but almost never showed him while Henry was literally becoming a teenager Neal stayed a newborn the whole fricken show until the last episode
Well, he wasn't. The key word is "almost". That sociopath has been nothing but a bane in Emma's life. She denied Emma her childhood with her parents by casting the curse, even going so far as to threatening to kill baby Emma ("Killing a baby just made my to-do list" -3x09). She tried to put Emma in an eternal sleep with the poisoned apple turnover so she could keep her revenge going. She tried to kill the Charmings during most of season 2. Not to mention trying to kill Snow and Charming for YEARS before the Dark Curse. You really think someone should date a person if they tried to kill your parents for years? All the redemption in the world doesn't erase the sins of your past. In canon, they have a terrible friendship too. It's hard for Emma to open her heart to Regina. She thought her evil half would try to kill her in season 6. That's not a healthy relationship. Regina even threatened to rip out Killian's throat, because she was jealous that Emma had her true love. That's guilt tripping right there and it's another sign of an unhealthy friendship. Regina never believes in her abilities either. In this "friendship", it's mostly Regina sharing her feelings and self-pity, while Emma is trying to please her and make her feel better. She’s always trying to be extra careful not to upset her. So if there was never any canon, healthy relationship between them, how is this even a ship? Emma Swan deserves a better friend than that.
I don’t know where you have been but throughout the first few seasons they were meant to hate each other. But in the more recent ones they would go to the ends of the world for each other (quite literally). Regina’s whole life since she became Emma’s friend has been protecting those she cares about including Emma. Regina has tried so hard to be good and get her happy ending, don’t you think she deserves a friend at least? Besides it’s a tv show we are allowed to ship people together that we wouldn’t perhaps ship in real life. Get over it, it’s not disgusting at all.
Karlee Craziness That seems a tad over the top. Yes she is a mass murderer. She's admitted it. She pretty much doesn't seem to mind too much either: especially when she confessed said crimes to Pan when she was trapped in the tree with the others. And yes, she kidnapped Belle to use as leverage on Rumple. I don't see the hypocrite there. She does terrible things but she doesn't justify them away like most of the others do like Snow White and Charming do. Also I'm a little fuzzy on the rapist part.
At least with the majority of the fandom it wasn't the best season. It started out good, but didn't finish as strong as it could of. I'm saying the wasted opportunity was that there was too many timeline involved.
thats what first interested me about OUAT the 1st trailer said "From the writers of LOST" so I have to watch it, it was good but couldnt take more after the black swan nonesense and the camelot let down. As for LOST loved every episode I know some plots where not that good and the finale was very controversial, but I always felt that the show was about faith vs science. And personally I loved theyy took the faith path for the finale
I think OUaT portraits the theme of Faith and Belief in a very genius way... And no, S1 isn't the best. it's one of the best seasons. However, S2 was better since it wasn't only a soap opera... It was balanced between Drama, Thriller, and Fantasy.
In a deleted scene Emma threatens to turn Lily into a toad if she makes any move against her parents. Of course, the most wasted opportunity was not using Jafar as a more serious villain in season 6.
The entire Dark Swan storyline would have been much better with Neal instead of Hook. Neal had much more reason to hate becoming the Dark One than Hook did.
Thank you. Someone else understands. That's how it is my headcanon at least. Also in my headcanon where Neal lives, Emma is the one that dies and Neal's the one who tries to save her from the underworld. I think that would have been a great way to show growth from those characters from Neal abandoning her in jail to literally going through hell for her. And also nice for everyone else to band together and save the savior for once. Plus in season 6 imagine all the angst we could of gotten to see from Neal being torn between his brother and Emma. Uhh, killing off his character was such a mistake. Oh well at least that's what fanfiction is for.
I love that all of these happened in the seasons after season 3... I guess we can all pretty much agree that the first three seasons were nearly perfect and the rest of the show fell apart RIP
eh the first half of season 3 was honestly really cheap looking and boring. Zelena/wicked witch and frozen/snow queen along with the mini-series "OUAT...in wonderland" kept the show alive. The author crap really annoyed me from then on though,
They did technically answer the question of who was Lily's father: Zelena and Regina having the conversation in the car on the way to Regina's surprise coronation with Mal flying overhead, can be heard saying that Zorro was Lily's father. The actress who played Lily got pregnant and could no longer film, plus Adam and Eddie never could secure the rights to use Zorro on screen.
the thing that always annoyed me about that is "the dragon" character said he had to give up his daughter, it would've made way more sense to make that canon instead of a name drop at the end of the show.
Unfortunately Ruby’s story was what took the hit.
adelaide yeah I just felt like she had so much more to offer. I would have seen more of her stories.
meggie004 I figured that could be a possible reason why they didn't books on Ruby that much. But I wish she had more stories.
I thought of another wasted opportunity. I think that they wasted the opportunity to make Rumple and Henry's relationship stronger.I would have loved to see more dynamic between the two. I just think that they could have been closer and it would have been nice to see.
so true. I never understand why they had never screen time together.
I feel like the main wasted opportunity was the untold stories. They could have created original fairytale characters and used that for the sequel instead of doing what they did with Henry
Yes, and Henry could have learn magic from him, I mean, I'd have liked that better than Author Arc
YES!!! When Rumple dies in season 7, Henry, his grandson, shows ZERO emotion! Hook seems more torn up about it, AND HE WANTED TO KILL RUMPLE FOR THE LONGEST TIME!!!!!!!!!!
I love that 3000
It still bugs me there was a Cinderella in season 1 in Storybrooke and then they brought in a completely new one in the last season
MorganAnne143 remember the different realms thing. So there was another version of each character with different races but the same stories.
I was literally thinking that
I hated the new enchanted forest
well that the whole thing with the multiple realms
MorganAnne143 you and me both the last season was basically a failed reprisal of the first season the only good thing that came ov it was the princess and the frog characters
"season 4 was dedicated to frozen. We would have gladly traded it out for other characters like Moana." That would have been impressive considering Moana hadn't even been out in theaters by that time.
Renafly yea
exactly what I was thinking
Same thing that I thought of
😂 true and I really like season 4 but it would have been cool to see Moana in a later season when it was actually out although I don’t know how they would have implemented it into the story
Lmao ya and they even put the year it was put out

They made Ruby regular at the same time that Belle and she quit to do another show.
I enjoyed the underworld arc but merida not getting to be the one to take out king arthur was just horrible. She just shows up for a cameo in that same episode for basically no reason.
THANK YOU!! Ruby is my absolute favorite character and she had so little screen time!!
@@carlosromero3562 They totally could've done such a cute storyline for Ruby. We could've seen her like break free from her Gran and get a place of her own and we'd get to see more of her style and how she is around her relationships with people she's dating and the townsfolk and she could've had so many storylines that could've gone so far.
i'm still pissed about Mulan. they completely ignored her. i was actually expecting her to end up with Merida, at least....
mulan4ever14 me too. Alas it's so disappointing....😤
I shipped her and Ruby. But no they shoehorned in Dorothy instead.
Yeah same here and then they paired ruby with another once off character who came back grown up - Dorothy.
At least mulan/ruby made sense and actual chemistry due to a few eps together
Caroline Fallon i agree with you.
Graham, August, Jefferson deserved more screen time and character development. Loved their characters
Laurawr _ imagine a Emma Jefferson romance ! Wasted opportunity
Tammy Martinez emma and August too
Tammy Martinez all of them acutally 😂 I mean I love hook but I would have like to see this romance too
Jefferson was one of my most favorites as well.
She got into a new show Chesapeake shores as main lead
The only disappointing things were:
1-Season7 like most of it
2-Dark swan had potential but it wasn't well done
3-neal shouldn't have died
4- king Arthur and Camelot wasn't well done, the underworld was great though
I would have preferred more with Merlin, he was basically the light one and he died so easily
Muhib we should’ve seen more of the mad hatter
But Neal would have gotten in the way of hook and Emma's relationship. Also, Neal was 24 and Emma was 17 when they met. All Neal did was get her in trouble. He's a bit of an asshole, and didn't have much of a character arc at all.
Man this list can go on forever. I thought they could have done a lot more with the Land of Untold Stories.
And "the dark realm"!!!
And the dark realm!
Анна Крижевская Forgotten? Bae died, their storyline had a proper conclusion.
No, I was thinking about having Neal as a character by himself, not keeping the triangle going, because as a trio they work.
I agree, I would've loved to have seen his relationship with Henry, Rumple and Belle grow tbh.
And also with Killian. Not to mention I wanted to see how he and Emma would work together without the whole 'romance' thing.
Why couldn't they have introduced Morgana le Fay or Mordred in season five arc?
I was so so irritated with the way they killed him off too. Like he's literally the greatest wizard of ALL TIME and that's how he dies??
That and they killed him off on a technicality using Nimue "inside of another dark one" which was just ridicoulous and silly.
I'm still bitter about his death. Plus, damn was he fine (not the point, but I have eyes ok). He was also such a force of good for Emma - there was something so soothing and calm about him.
@@sassypants7536 Agreed!

True
I just posted that lmao
Imagine how much better season 7 would have been if the “love story” was a twist and Henry ended up with drizella and not jucinda
tweekscoffee _ I mean what if violet from Camelot appeared and Henry chose her?
ary i think that would’ve made a good love triangle, it reminds me of emma, neal, and hook. violet (like neal) could’ve been someone that henry loved in the past and maybe still had feelings for, while ella (like hook) could’ve been someone that henry was interested in before violet came back. it would’ve been very entertaining
I'm glad they mentioned the chemistry between Henry and Ivy (Drizella), I thought they could've been great. I loved Ella (Jacinda) and Lucy, but I definitely agree that the Cinderella story was just a little too safe/boring for the ending of the show.
Imagine how interesting it would've been for a Cinderella story, if Henry had gotten with the step sister.
Totally agree!
liaprodz True tho
Um excuse me I would not like to disagree with u but there was. So many exciting plots in their story and also Henry never liked ivy the daughter of lady tramaine u mean and also Umade so many mistakes in this it’s not funny you should feel silly sorry but right off the bat you r mixing up the names of the people that means you are prabably not a major fan of the show personally me likening this series so much I even pity u right now
Same, and Drizella and Henry had more in common and their relationship would have been way more complexe
1) Season 5 was a mistake (except the 2 episodes that had nothing to do with the main plot)
2) Belle was wasted as a character. She's my fav but she never had a chance to branch outside of her relationship with Rumplestilskin.
Season 5 was the worst season in my opinion (along with 7)

true
Mulan and Aurora tho 😭😭😭😭
This is exactly how I feel about the show in a nutshell. I didn't even bother to finish season 5.
@@arielanderic season 6 is better than 5 in my opinion maybe try it?
I'm forever salty about the Mulan/Aurora/Philip triangle. Not only because it was suddenly dropped but also because most of their story was developed offscreen. They should have gotten a spinoff or at least been heavily focused in a later season.
Same here. Heck Mulan's backstory was barely shown...
Same!! Mulan was awesome, I thought that her and Aurora had some *coughcough* romantic chemistry ...
Thank you! The so-called “Dark Swan” storyline really was disappointing, not to mention, they also could’ve done more with Merlin...
DarkDancer06 they killed all of the black people on this show or have them no backstory at all. They did not have sabine in the final show.
Merlin's death still makes me sad. They could've done so much more with him. He was such a calming moral compass, and really helped to guide Emma towards the light.
Dark swan was a wasted oppurtunitie. It was not so good.

Exactly. It is like the writers didn't know what to write about, they kepts going back to curses
A shame since they really did have some great writers on the show - Jane Espenson was a real standout to me. A combination of the actors personal lives, scheduling conflicts etc definately contributed to the way the story was shaped, but still the writing took a turn for sure.

This
To this day I still can't believe how much they destroyed the Dark Swan storyline.
Except they would both be accusing the wrong person when it was Isaac Heller who made the Charmings do this, but writing and altering their lives.
I also think it would have been interesting to see more of Regina's past with Daniel; but that's just me! :)
They couldn't have added Moana in season 4 because it came in 2016 but season 4 was in 2014
I was saying the same thing
Thank you.
Yep
Me too.
And the fish hook appears in season 7
1. Deleting so many good scenes with Archie Hopper. He deserved so much more attention
WM: “just look at Sebastian Stan.”
Me: trust me, I am
Lily's father is Zorro (Don Diego de La Vega) - yeah, that's canon, no joke here. He apparently was so in love with Mal that turned into a dragon for one night so she would accept him. But Mal didn't want to settle down and disappeared and Zorro, well, he finds his family much later.
Another wasted opportunity for a dramatic romance with all the Spanish passion.
Honestly the worst arcs in the franchise have to be listed as.
3. ALL OF SEASON 7
2. The Frozen Arc
1. Emma being fake edgy as The Dark One
That's total BULLSHIIIT
Season 7 was great compared to previous seasons...
So either understand what you're watching, or don't give uneducated comments and call them critiques.
fake edgy emma was SO cringe i could barely watch it
Another thing is the whole Camelot arc, i was greatly disapointed that Arthur became a villain and Merlin was killed of and we never got an answer on what happen’d to the rest of the kingdom including Gwen.
Also Hades bruh, wtf, imagine though if he was more like Disney's Hades, he and Zelena would've been REAL soulmates
The Hades storyline pisses me off, they genuinely just wanted to kill off Robin
The mad hatter/jefferson should have got more of a story line and also see what happened to him and his daughter Grace.
Ursula did get her happy ending. Her father gave her singing voice back and they went home.her story was done.
Kirito Swords She was SOOOO underutilized!
I don't like some of the comments that were made in this video
I ship Ivy with Henry more than in ship Henry and Jucinda
What happened to violet
Faïsel El Katbani i love her accent
Faïsel El Katbani Heyyyy, that’s no reason to judge someone. I didn’t like Jacinda either, but that’s because I thought her character was basic. You shouldn’t judge anyone for something they can’t control, like the way they talk.
... I liked henry and violet 😂
@@undersi597 ikrr i was thinking that the whole season 7
Let's be honest, the show's whole problem is its habit of abandoning subplots and characters without a drop of closure as well as lacking fundamental logic and structure. I still believe we could have ended at Season 3 but no.
Kat Del I agree so much. What would their ship name have been? :D (Ruby and Mulan)
kawaii kitty I always like the sound of “Mulan Rouge” for their ship name
I was going to say "red warrior" but Mulan Rouge is genius
Lily’s father is Zorro. Regina mentions it in the last episode, when they drive to her coronation
Okay that was totally out of nowhere, plus that doesn't even make sense
Although I wanted Mulan and Ruby I wanted Mulan and Merida together more
I will always root for Mulan & Ruby.
The purest of hearts isn't a heart with no black dots in it. It just means that someone who keeps trying to act good.
But at the time Regina was also working on on being better and being good and was not allowed to enter.
Regina never even regretted doing anything in her life, not even the bad stuff. She said that when she takes Pan's heart out.
It was because innocent baby Neal was in her at the time
K people always talk about how snow shouldn't be able to enter BUT WHAT ABOUT CHARMING? We see him kill guards and stuff onscreen all the time but it's NEVER MENTIONED! Like, do reginas knights not count as human beings?
Totally agree with Drizella and Henry! The chemistry and the moments were really good between them.
I actually loved Rumple coming back and turning physco
But I wish they gave more time for Jefferson
Honestly, everything after season 3. They kept cramming in so many characters--who mostly went no where in the span of a couple episodes--at the expense of forgetting about chracters who had been well-establish in the first couple of seasons.
And I will forever be salty about the fact that the writers could never make up their mind about Rumple. Regina was given a wonderful redemption arc, but noooo let's continue to make Rumple an awful character when the writers have run out of ideas, it's fine to completely ruin the Rumbelle ship on multiple occasions.
I stopped watching after season 3 because it was getting too difficult keeping up with all the storylines
I also would have loved closure for violet and henry's love story before introducing us to him and cinderella
There is a book about this.
I never liked Henry and Violet. There's was something about Violet that struck me the wrong way.
Renata Padilha I need to read it!
MieKayla Singleton to each their own.
Kristen James no tea, no shade...no hate
uh.... kinda defending the frozen storyline here but that season aired the year after Frozen came out so Moana couldn't really had been an option then...
@@willlyon7129 I will say a "land without color" story would've been interesting, but of course they just never went there either.
True if they put a Moana Storyline on the show I would've been furious only b/c Moana came out later and its kinda overhyped
also killing Neal off before him and Henry got to have a proper relationship. that was one of the saddest things the show did. and I mean if they’d kept Neal, rumple might have started acting like Henry’s grandfather
Adult Henry gives me Dan's from Gossip Girl vibes so much
i was so disappointed that Maleficent and Lily ust disappeared, they didn´t even bother to explain where they went...they talked about staying in storybrook for a week or so and BOOM they are gone and never mentioned again. why do great characters alwas disappear? in most cases its to shove in another Zelena episode, i grew into tolerating her but its no annoying that they always squeeze her in every plotline....
Emma as the dark one was pointless
Word.
I loved that arc
I was so exited about it and they just...
It really was
Ikr! Not to mention that totally stupid voice she kept using when she was the Dark One...
And that's exactly why the shadiness of The Blue Fairy is one of the amazing aspects of the show.
Dani pollo OH MY GOSH, I agree!
I wish that they didn’t kill Neal so quick :(
I loved Neal as a really interesting character in his own right but it seems most people only saw him as a love interest for Emma that was standing between her and hook.
But after all, we love the show
TOTALLY AGREE WITH #7
HENRY AND DRIZELLA/IVY SHOULD'VE BEEN THE MAIN LOVE STORY.
She kinda poisoned him to death.
But they were good friends. that makes their story stronger. Like Regina and Emma.
Why is everyone saying that Mulan is lesbian
Faïsel El Katbani because she is
Faïsel El Katbani because the show clearly implies it, though it doesn't claim it. Mulan wanted to say to Aurora that she was in love with her, but then Aurora told her she is pregnant and she just left.
And yeah, I really don't like Ruby and Dorothy plot. They spent what, two days together? A week? And already true love kiss? Really?
I mean I love Dorothy and Ruby, but I felt like Mulan and Ruby would've been more interesting.
the entire show went down hill after the Neverland arc imo.
Nah it went downhill after Marian came back
Shekola Carrington exactly, I agree. 😔
Jazz I agree, I loved the snow queen herself, but the whole frozen nonsense was so shoehorned into the show is was insane.
That's the worst arc....
Chloe Marie YES!!
“The first half of season 4 was solely dedicated to frozen. We’ll gladly would have traded some of those episodes to see Emma cross paths with Mary Poppins, Christopher Robins or Moana”
Me:...
Me: first of all no, except Moana, but Moana came out in 2016 and the last episode of season 4 of Once Upon A Time was in May 10th of 2015. 2015.
Mate, get your facts straight, don’t criticise on things that are impossible
I wanted Mulan and Ruby to get together so bad! I was not fond of the Dorothy at all.
I Would Have Liked To See The Mad Hatter More But They Basically Wrapped Up His Storyline In Season 2
Gideon's story 100% was stolen from Angel's Connor. Lol
THANK YOU
I tried with Jacinda’s character, I really did 😂 Eventually, I just gave up.
I had no idea Gideon's story was a blatant rip off but I'm not even surprised. OUAT writers had no imagination at all.
ChiniWanders what a twist it could have been if they made jacinda the villain.
The actress playing Jacinda doesn't have villain facial features and her eyes are not strong. I'm sorry but she doesn't have the main character aura and she couldn't carry a show either.
ChiniWanders She was a villain in XMen 3.
I think for me, I felt that the actors who played Henry & Jacinda didn't have chemistry together. That and I really didn't like Jacinda as a character.
ChiniWanders Jacinda isn't a bad person, but her character is so bland.
I love the show with every thing in me (along with broadway lol) they didn’t need season 7. At all. And Cinderella was already a character. But they added another one. That’s my opinion
Why does everyone always forget about Pocahontas!?
@tick-tack girl I never forget Pocahontas she's my favorite Disney princess
The first time they showed tigerlilly I honestly thought it was pocahontas, then got disappointed.
Because pocahontas was based on a real person and it's not a fairytale
I mean... Disney didn't adapt her character from a fairytale but from history maybe thats why
Well technically all the stories were based on real life people , especially Robin Hood.
I definitely agree that they didnt utilise the characters they already had given us and popped in throw away characters that dont do much or make us really feel anything for them. Seasons 1-3 were great but i think the show really suffered from season 4 onwards.
Thanks for mentioning OUAT in Wonderland! I totally agree
They should've transferred all of those characters to OUAT once Wonderland was cancelled. A waste of characters they'd already built up, plus it would get more people to watch Wonderland, even if it was already cancelled.
iloveperfume I never understood why they had to cancel it. I’ve watched it three times and it’s so much fun!
They would have had too many characters then. Even Will was pretty much wasted on the main show.
I wanted so hard to see the Jabberwocky to run loose in storybrooke. Then you have no idea how infuriated I was when they switched jafars
Yeah I was also really surprised by that. He didn't even have a big role, so why couldn't they just ask the same actor again.
Rumple was nasty! He's part of the reason I quit watching that show. I hated that jerk. He creeped me the fk out!
Finally someone who understands the character and personality of Rumpelstiltskin.
Thank you Ryuga.
the rumple bell thing was ridiculous i love the beauty and the beast story but that was over and done like after the third season i found it insane how bell would always toy with him deciding she loved him and trying to change him just to drop him again as soon as surprise surprise he did something dark the way she treated him when she was pregnant was abhorrent she obviously knew from balefire that he would never harm his son yet she kept it from him out of spite
Well, in Season 6 she says that what she did was wrong, as "What have we done to each other? What have done to our son?"
The show is conscious about this side of Belle, and Belle became a very cool character, after season 2 and 3 made her look so weird in the show, because of the way she portrayed the dilemma of someone you love and at the same time you can't accept being with because they are bad...
We actually did, Regina tells Zelena in the series finale. It was Zorro but I agree it shoud've/could've been such a great storyline!
I started to lose interest when Emma became "The Dark One". Plus you find out in the end of the series finale that Lily's father was Zorro...
Ivy x Henry was waaaay better tbh😩
Those two never dated he had no feeling for her romantically so get over it like come on !!!😂😑
Carter ojer But the actors had chemistry. That's all we're saying
raw1911 well, but the story doesn't work in favour of the actors. it's the other way around.
I agree, they were better in my opinion.
Everything involving the mad hatter from season 1.
CS sucked period. They never should have even been a thing. It should have been Emma and Neal.
drlee2 agreed. I was a SwanFire shipper since the beginning. I thought Emma should’ve ended with someone who is also a madeup character.
and because of that season, I quit the show and hate CaptainSwan!
I know it was 2 years ago but I agree
1. Merida
2. Mulan
3. Swan Queen
4. Ruby and her relationship with Kansas which made absolutely no sense
5. Plotholes, especially in S7
6. Rumple story of good and evil is too repetetive and he probably should have died when he sacrificed himself when killing Peter Pan.
7. Maleficent, her daughter and her relationship with Regina + her father
@@funtimetoto4389 Oh, sorry, didn't know that. Thanks!
@@MrsLPAmy ur welcome
show shouldve ended after season 6. i mean season 7 had a great ending but 6 was more satisfying.
And they made a huge deal in Neverland about having a baby but almost never showed him while Henry was literally becoming a teenager Neal stayed a newborn the whole fricken show until the last episode
Red Beauty, Sleeping Warrior, Swan Queen. All the brown characters that OUAT that killed off.
Regina is Emma's step-grandmother. That's disgusting
Huntress4455 Well Hook was Neal’s almost step father so???
My favourite characters are Henry, August, Hook, Jefferson/mad hatter and Jiminy cricket. Sad didn’t have more time on screen
I loved the count of Monte Cristo’s story line and I liked the way he was portrayed by the actor
Wasted opportunities: Season 7 and all those timelines
What are you saying, S7 was one of the best seasons in this show.
At least with the majority of the fandom it wasn't the best season. It started out good, but didn't finish as strong as it could of. I'm saying the wasted opportunity was that there was too many timeline involved.
I see... I think this is because those timelines were meant to be talked about in next seasons. But the show got cancelled. So...
Yeah that makes sense.
Season 1 was a masterpiece, i dont know what happened after that but the show went downhill season after season until it ended in pure crap
geekywisdom I think he's saying he didn't like Lost after season 3. (I loved all 6)
thats what first interested me about OUAT the 1st trailer said "From the writers of LOST" so I have to watch it, it was good but couldnt take more after the black swan nonesense and the camelot let down.
That one was really weird.
This was my all time favorite show until the last season. It made me stop watching it it was so bad
I couldn't even finish it either.
Lilly's father is zoro. This is why you don't record episodes before watching the tv episodes.
Clexanvers X Zoro? How?
We will never know how, because the showrunners were forbidden from bringing him into the screen. They could mention though.
Actually we do know, it was zoro. They casually mention it towards the end of the last episode, it’s easy to misd
Miss
Fujimoto Chiaki and rumple does stay dead at the end
You forgot Regina and Robin.
Everything involving the sherif from season 1.
AJ Mainiac yes Graham was one of the most pointless characters i hace ever seen in a show
I love that all of these happened in the seasons after season 3... I guess we can all pretty much agree that the first three seasons were nearly perfect and the rest of the show fell apart RIP
@JANANI KANNAN see that is true but I thought it was nice how they ended season 7, especially since that meant Regina finally got a "happy beginning"
eh the first half of season 3 was honestly really cheap looking and boring.
