oh please...Life doesn't stop once you have a child and neither do your dreams. I hear what she's saying but she's not any better than the mothers who need help because they're working toward a future for themselves and their children.
Yea but she choice to terminate her "bag" so that her children may lead healthy lives with full support and dedication from their mother. I dont know about anybody else but if I worked my butt off to have a singing career and I started making millions, I dont know if I could stop. She never threw *Dream* or *Wayne* under the bus, she stopped her career to take care of her 4 kids as a single parent because the fathers could not be there (remember it takes more to being a co-parent than sending money) and in her words did pretty much nothing to help her personally even though she asked 😔 something during that time mentally broke that woman I think it was the mental and physical stress of it all.
That is a real woman right there! Nivea, you are a queen and you are a great example of why as black men we need to ride for our black women the way our black women ride for us and we need to treat them a looooot better.

Early in the video, she said she didnt want to be a nurse and just get by...as if getting an education and becoming a nurse isn't respectable. Maybe being a nurse wasnt for her, but clearly her priorities have always been in the wrong place.

This was a bit difficult to watch because she seems like a woman who is happy with what she is and happy with being a mother but there is still some heartbreak over her dreams that haven't come to fruition. I would imagine it's hard watching other artist blow up around you and having the uniqueness and talent to be just as good but for some reason it doesn't work out. Those tears were real, she's hurting.

Nivea is beautiful. She is a selfless, passionate, and LOVING mother. Her children are so fortunate to have a mother like that. A parent that could have chosen money, fame, etc; that could have passed the buck but chose to commit herself to and protect her beautiful children. There are sadly so many mothers and fathers who wouldn't have done what she did. I love her and I hope her children grow up to realize the pure love she has for them and appreciate the sacrifices she made and make her heart happy so that her sacrifice was not in vain. I wish her peace, joy, success, and God's blessings abundantly.

When I was kid, my mother used to say that a mother is full time job, a mother's pay for that job is knowing she gave them unconditional love and knowing they will alright when comes time for them to her nest.

The Dream and Lil Wayne could've stepped up more and helped her out money wise and being there for her since she gave you guys beautiful kids! I'm glad to hear her story don't get me wrong but it's kinda painful to watch.
Naomie, you don't have to have to keep the kids, you share the custody . she makes me sad but i have been in a relationship with my eldest son's mother and i knew i had to get out because she was dragging me down with her emotions and all types of problems. you can't tell me that of the 3 baby daddies none wanted to help . she is probably a burden. y'all should think about how other parties feel when relationships ain't working. we do not owe anyone to stick around , except share the custody of the kids. this is doable.
It is so easy to blame someone else than to look in the mirror and take accountability. She chose to be in those broken relationships because she was a broken person. The healing starts when you look within not when you point the finger.

I read elsewhere she had 2 strokes and for those of you whos just judging her and not familiar with her... shes always talked like this. I loved her then, and i will now. Will support anything she drops. I feel she deserves it. At the time in the early 2000s r&b went though a transformation from a soulful sound to more of southern urban vibe. Unless your following the trend ,as a artist its hard to keep that audience. Her story mirrors alot of artists today who dont quite fit with the trap sound we have going on today. They are super talented but record labels aren't pushing them. They dont have the machine behind them to really take them to the next level we feel they should be.
