God. Nothing matches that week to week time when WandaVision came out in 2021. Show was PEAK! I do agree though. WandaVision just fumbled the last two episodes with an expo dump and anti-climax of a finale fight while Agatha had a slow start and a better ending.
Honestly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. It wasn't some big CGI fest and it was more character-driven instead of action-oriented. I kinda hope marvel does more stuff like this.

Aubrey Plaza was born to play those kinds of roles, she was brilliant in Legion (the only reason to watch it tbh). Sasheer Zamata had a great storyline here as well, the image of her as the high priestess in Lilias eyes (memory jumps) is just gold, so beautiful. And of course, Patti LuPone. Oh, what a performance. Loved her.
My only gripe is that multiverse of madness Franky did wandavision as a show a huge disservice so I'm stuck trying to grapple with the idea of exploring any avenues such as this

The whole series felt very disjointed, no real plot, no rhyme or reason to any of it. It's just a series with a bunch of filler episodes that goes to nowhere. The show really really sucked. I mean there were some interesing elements like the witchlore and the costumes and stuff but there was just no PLOT. Basically, the plot was go from A to z to find the missing brother and they could have done it in like 4 episodes instead of dragging it along for 9 boring long mess of a show.
This is a character driven type of story. If you can't bring yourself to care for the characters being developed in said "filler episodes", maybe this is not a story for you.
What makes Agatha tick? Survival, she has lost everything else, survival and power is all she has left and in her mind they are the same thing. And the road isnt what Agatha believes it to be? Did we watch the same show, Agatha was only one who knew what the Road was from the start, pretty bad review IGN.

I'm sorry, an 8!? I know it's not She-Hulk, but an 8!? I guess the benchmark between Great and Awesome is quite a slope. Not gonna lie, I watched them both and I would definitely give both of them those rankings. Looking back on it though, I would bump She-Hulk down to a 7.5. The Megan Thee Stallion episode is a bit hard to watch sometimes. No offence to the artist herself. Agatha All Along, IT IS GREAT! My favorite episode has to be the Lillia one with her trial. Of course the reveal of the road not being real and being a creation of Billy from a con song that Agatha made up with memory of Nicholas Scratch. I am more intrigued on Vision Quest to find out where both Tommy and White Vision went.
A few plot holes prevented me from enjoying it as much as others: Why was Agatha living in as a in crime drama in her head when the neighbor said she’s been there 3 years and just started playing detective a couple days ago? If Billy created the road then how did he know specific details about the witches to create their trials? Why did Billy knock the witches off the road? Why did Death show up in Westview and then fight Agatha when the spell was broken?
1) Agatha started playing detective after Wanda died (remember the body is Wanda, you can see her red hair) 2) I guess Billy was making the road while walking the road and knowing the other witches more. I guess he can cast something that brings their subconscious and that's how the road gets created. Magic is just weird I guess. 3) He just got his awakening and he's an emotiona "teen", I don't think he meant to do that. 4) Death is the one that broke the spell after Wanda died, so we can assume she has been trying to get Agatha for a while and she was on the run and Wanda's spells (the hex in Wandavision) and the one Wanda put on her here were hiding her from Death. Or maybe Death was always trying to get Agatha to give her Billy from the beginning. It's a lot of assumptions tho.
Well deserved. I went into this show with no motivation to watch til the end, but got hooked after episode 2. The show delivered more than expected and was truly fun to watch.

I just binged it and I'm very surprise by how good it is. I'd say easily top 5 best MCU shows. Great acting and great storytelling with not a huge budget so it's more character focused.

I just binged it and I'm very surprise by how good it is. I'd say easily top 5 best MCU shows. Great acting and great storytelling with not a huge budget so it's more character focused.
