Helm is the product of a lifetime of musical influences; her own family is her inspiration and her connections with those along the way have built her into a stunning performer. With the help of cohorts and members from past projects, Helm writes soulful country rock with a balladic sound blooming from the roots music she has surrounded herself with. Her debut album is entitled “Didn’t It Rain,” and its twelve tracks are full of personal sing-alongs that range in style from country to rock to Americana.

Amy is wonderful. I think she favors her Aunt Linda. I know her Dad was and still is so proud of her.
I grew up in Marvell Arkansas and knew Lavon well. He was always a character. He even worked some for my Dad. I have many memories of him and Linda playing music on the school stage. Anna Lee was also a friend of mine.
Went to college with Amy at UW-Madison. She hasn't changed a bit. Beautiful voice, great smile. So happy for her.
We are using this song to practice mixing for a Recording & Audio Production class in school. We love it!

the Barn Burners. She was good back then too!! Bobby Keys played with them that night. Truly of the treasured moments of my long and varied life.

i believe the bass player is byron isaacs from the weight. the weight is a band cover band. if you ever get the chance to see them don't miss it. its clear that amy has her dad's singing chops. great song. great voice. great band
