Hi Luther, great job on the tree adding 2 layers makes it look much better . If you are still making these I found a way to speed up the process, cut out both two at the same time using double sided tape and cut them out on my bandsaw using a 3/16 inch blade.
Hi Luther. I love what you did with this project. The painted trees look great. I am going to share the link to this video in the next post. I know there are a lot of people who will enjoy the tips.
Thanks Luther. Great video which has motivated me to get back out there and do some work. After your video last year, I made one for ourselves and two others for friends. I'm going to try the half inch ones. They look great. Also, given me ideas on the paint schemes. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing your tree ideas Luther. I especially like the the 1/2 inch as it looks fuller and more realistic. The green and white is beautiful and would look very nice placed with a Christmas village set. I am definitely going to try one of these to go with the sleigh and reindeer I cut out last year. Personally I would use either side of the plywood whether it is rough or not as it would add texture to the tree. Have a great week! 😊🇨🇦
Hi Luther lovely tree's your videos are great, I have a couple of questions if that's ok first have you any instructions for making a star I've got a real mental block, 2nd and totally unrelated I'm thinking of buying a mitre saw but wondering if a band saw could do the things a mitre saw does or even more please can you help. Thank you.
Very cool tips .. I was not going to make this tree .. until I saw your video. I think - I will use some old redwood 1/2 inch fence boards. I used those a lot - and - everything I make out of them comes out great. And you can get them free all the time! Only .. don't make anything too intricate hahahahaha .. it will blow out
Hello sir, after it’s assembled why don’t you try spraying a light coat of the green. Then put the snow blow on top of that and it might stick to the paint while it’s wet
@@jimrodman2378 I have been trying to find the layer Christmas tree but no luck finding it. Could guide me through the process of finding the pattern Thanks

It will depend on what you do with it and the type of wood.
Thank you for your quick response 😊
Hello Luther. Very nice Christmas tree When you paint the tree is it all put together or in pieces. Thank you

There are 2 different tools.i think it would be good to have both. The bandsaw will not do what the miter saw does
@LuthersWoodworking thanks for your help

Thanks
How did you build it?
I have enjoyed your videos
But I can’t find the pattern for the those stars
The stars I just created using Inkscape, no pattern for them .
Thanks
is that a router in the right hand corner and a scroll saw behind that
That's my dremel sitting on the end of my table saw
So we’re all these parts cut out with a CNC???
No
I don't own a cnc
With a scrollsaw
The tree with spray on snow: brush Deco Podge on the branches, let it tack up, spray the snow. Let it completely dry, then hit it with clear/sealer
Thanks for the tip
the plywood one should be 25% larger?
I'm not sure what you're asking...
What size are the stars
The stars are 1.5 inches
Do you have a pattern for those trees
Thay are at Steve goods website
@@LuthersWoodworking I looked there and didn’t see them
@@LuthersWoodworking I found them thank you
