They used to call them a bed desk. Not sure what the name is now. It's a tray that can lay flat if you are eating something or go at an angle to read a book, or I guess play on a tablet these days!

Apparently, it’s the norm, so maybe this is the encouragement I need to clean off my craft table! Thanks for sharing.
