Žirnių Malūnas - Song for Skrabalai | Lithuanian Independence Restoration Day Concert

Lietuvos Nepriklausomybės Atkūrimo Dienos proga su Ave Vitos ansamblio muzikantais: Dovydas Lukoševičius (lumzdelis), Šarūnas Demjanovas (I birbynė), Vilius Morkūnas (II birbynė), Albertas Šliaužys (tenorinė birbynė) ir Deivydas Giedrimas (kontrabosinė birbynė) pasirodėme Kauno Šv. Arkangelo Įgulos Bažnyčioje. Kompozitoriaus Jono Švedo "Žirnių Malūnas" yra gražiausias kada nors sukurtas kūrinys skrabalams. Svarbu paminėti, kad 1947 tas pats J. Švedas, kartu su P.Serva sukūrė ir pačius skrabalus. Malonaus klausymo!

On the occasion of the Day of the Restoration of the Independence of Lithuania, together with musicians from Ave Vita Essemble: Dovydas Lukoševičius (lumzdelis), Šarūnas Demjanovas (I birbynė), Vilius Morkūnas (II birbynė), Albertas Šliaužys (tenor birbynė) and Deivydas Giedrimas (contrabass birbynė), we had a performance in Kaunas St. Michael the Archangel's Church. "Žirnių Malūnas" - a song, created by Lithuanian composer Jonas Švedas, is indeed the most prominent piece of music ever created for skrabalai. Most importantly, the same J.Švedas, together with P.Serva in 1947, created the instrument themselves. Enjoy listening!
