I’m home bound and I listen to Dragnet every day.
15,000 hits and seven comments 🙁. Hmmmm 🤔. Oh well . People are people I guess . Want something for nothing . I’ll do my part ... THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO POST ALL THESE GREAT STORIES!!
great show , thanks for posting these great episodes.
I love these. I listen to one every night in bed.
I’m surprised Joe let that mad killer “adjust” his neck! I guess it proved he trusted the guy and then he got the confession.
Thank you many times over for taking your time to post these with such good audio. Many memories. . .
Good one! Thanks for sharing.
Love these shows. A walk back into time
11,000 hits ... and three comments..🙁 come on people.. these are great shows and LOTS to comment on 👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you so much for posting these. They are so relaxing for my early morning walks. I wasnt born until 25 years after these were made, and they give such a great glimpse into what the world was like back then. From Jack Webb extolling the virtues of a "smooth, king sized Fatima cigarette" lol, to "Joe Friday" and his partner getting lunch for 35 cents, lol. From Dragnet, to Adam 12 to Emergency, Jack Webb always strove for complete authenticity in all he did in radio, TV and movies. Like Michael Landon and Steve Irwin. It had to be real and it had to make you feel something. Good stuff.😊 ❤
Brings back memories as a kid listening to these on ksfo in my teen years in the 80s
One of my favorites
I love Dragnet, radio and TV. Ben and Joe are the best. I listened to them every night. 😀 Please name some other radio shows like Dragnet.
Yours Truly Johnny Dollar with Bob Bailey
Thanks for posting these programs!!!
Even though I wasn't born until 1970 and the radio show was long over I could occasionally catch the TV series once cable TV came about in the 1980's. So happy to find the radio series here. They just don't make entertainment like this anymore. The big question is: What happened to Fatimah cigarettes?
I recommend everyone subscribes and checks out the other radio shows available.

Perfect radio for laying in bed at night
Jack Webb is A Savage!!!
They're in the trees!!!😂

Shame the jury didn't recommend the death penalty
What's the use of killing some criminal? Death penalty is unethical, high risk (it is permanent, and if you kill the wrong guy who will be killed for that? The jury, the judge and the investigators who messed it up?) and expensive due to appeals, re-trials long sentences before execution etc etc.
Killing some punk dors not make the world a better place. There'll be new punks anyway.
@@kohinarec6580 The death penalty is NOT "unethical" if applied correctly and IS appropriate in select cases. www.gotquestions.org/death-penalty.html
Hang em
What does it take to get the death penalty? You commit premeditated murder of the cop days after getting out of prison if that doesn't warrant the death penalty nothing does.
@@kohinarec6580 What about the expense of housing the "punk" for 30 to 40 years at a cost of $100,000 per year? The appeals process needs to be shortened. Also punishment is not about a deterrent. It is a recognition of paying a price for your actions. Eye for an Eye.
Joe Friday went undercover. Cool.
Room 42 Homicide 😎
so doesn't this count as entrapment? They had a police officer pose as a criminal to get another criminal to confess.
Nope, the murderer could have kept his big mouth shut. He wasn't lured into committing a crime.
So are Fatty Ma cigarettes especially for plump women?
" It's amazing...how disgusted I get putting up with yet another Fatima Cigarette commercial, as I try to finish listening to a Dragnet episode."
Still one of the best crime series ever.
All these cigarettes ads how dumb I was and how I'm suffering from them if I only knew the risks would never have started.
Look at how many people still start smoking and the risks have been publicized for a long time.
Fatima.
