Good episode with lots of action. They sure were making me hungry going through the line at Clifton's Cafeteria, where I have had lunch many times years ago.
Thank you so much for making these wonderful old programs, in their entirety as originally broadcast. I've been listening to Old-Time Radio since the late 1980's and, thanks to you, I've heard a bunch of Dragnet episodes I had never heard before.
I love the way they would call things as they saw them, no political correctness in the 1950's Friday "She came out of the bar with a small fat man in a blue suit."
I cracked up laughing, Rick Ross, with the "small fat man in a blue suit" comment, even if it is now considered to be politically incorrect! Sgt. Joe didn't mince his words, LOLOL!!!

@@craigdallas784 That is cool, was it good?
Was it good eating?
Back when quality was the best before cell phones and electronics destroyed a nation
Was the mixed greens salad good?
I can't get enough of this stuff. The radio shows are better than the TV shows.
The woman who knows the killer sounds like Peggy Webber. She’s in her 90s now. She did many Dragnet episodes, including playing the elderly Ma Friday.
.35 cents a day ? Wow . I remember 1st Ave in Seattle… four bits an night ( that’s .50 cents) a night . Yeah , that’s the low rent district

Poor Ben .. always something. Sore arches ? Never had that one 🤔
The Ben Romero was my favorite on Dragnet besides Joe Friday! I loved his speaking voice, too!
He's no flat foot.

Friday "She came out of the bar with a small fat man in a blue suit."
Back then rational thought was encouraged. Progressive Liberalism, which embraces irrational thought, has infected our culture.

I don't know who's more dangerous, these hoodlums on Dragnet or these Fatima's cigarettes I'm smoking. I'm going back to Camels.
Never get a ride from Joe Friday, it never ends well...
Loved the Fatima commercials, sadly they caused “extra mild cancer”.
Alright, now bring me a helping of every food they mentioned.
Is Clinton's restaurant still open? Does anyone know?
When there’s not a pandemic, yeah. They were struggling financially before it hit. Doesn’t bode well for a reopen.
@@alexandergedeon409 Well, Clifton's Los Angeles, closed back in November 2018, two years before the pandemic.
😢
Once again 9,000 hits and five comments... 😳
Jack Webb is A Savage!!!
Someone needs professional help, I see.....
@@howardoller443Exactly! He was a purse in real life.
@@bartbutkis He was a "purse"? What kind of purse was he?
What can I said? I smoke Viceroy, not Fatima.
Kools for me . But it’s time to quit
@@heyoldman2003How about Raleigh or Kents?

It's wise to smoke extra mild Fatima. 🚬☠️
Haha!
what a lame name for cigarettes-- fatima-- never heard of them here
Wanda James very old school . I think they quit making them in the early 60’s
Hey Jimmy Crackcorn .... and I don’t care 😎
35 cents per day.
I know it's a show, but it's sad. It did happen.
