I'm autistic and i have my first wedding tomorrow! Thank you so much for your video. Aside from not having the extensive team you have 😅 i feel much more confident about the process!! ❤
70 200 is stunning lens, my friend always use this lens for creating stunning portrait, candid etc especially when in church, the compression on 70 200 is sweet
We don’t have any experience with either of those two cameras. That said, we don’t feel qualified to give you educated recommendation on which camera to choose. However, for (exclusive) wedding photography usage we would personally pick the R5 simply because we don’t need the extra video features from the R5C. Both awesome cameras. 🙂
The photos were all exposed correctly in-camera and slightly overexposed in the edit to achieve a light and airy look. We may have abused the exposure slider a bit, lol. Thank you for sharing thoughts! 🙂
mam naka raw po ba kayo? friendly critic lang po to get me wrong...yung ISO po try niyo babaan..... slightly expose po.... pero maganda po selective poses niyo....
We’re pretty old school and it’s a cue to us and our clients that the shot was taken (especially on portraits). In actual wedding gigs, the shutter isn’t really audible enough to be called obtrusive.
This made me NOT want a photographer at my wedding. I understand that it is for good shots, but I believe that a good photographer should be able to capture moments as they NATURALLY happen. Not telling people to hug the bride or act surprised. Too controlling!!!
Great to see fellow Filipino photographer creating art!

Do you do only Filipino weddings in Canada?
Hello, we just happen to get a bunch of referrals from previous (Filipino-Canadian) clients for this season 🙂
Sorry, but some of the shots looked a bit overexposed to me. Was that a stylistic choice to make it more dreamy? Legitimately curious
The photos were all exposed correctly in-camera and slightly overexposed in the edit to achieve a light and airy look. We may have abused the exposure slider a bit, lol. Thank you for sharing thoughts! 🙂
saan po kaya pwede makita ang highlight video nito? salamat!
As of today, Ivan hasn’t yet published the wedding film. But when he does, you’ll find it at Ivan John Films (@ivanjohnfilms) on YT/IG/FB.
Bokeh shots are so amazing 🎉
Thank you! 🙂
mam naka raw po ba kayo? friendly critic lang po to get me wrong...yung ISO po try niyo babaan..... slightly expose po.... pero maganda po selective poses niyo....
Maraming salamat po for your constructive criticism. We definitely appreciate your feedback. And yes, we shoot raw for all our photography projects.
Put that shutter on silent or electronic.
We’re pretty old school and it’s a cue to us and our clients that the shot was taken (especially on portraits). In actual wedding gigs, the shutter isn’t really audible enough to be called obtrusive.
Filipinos are crazy about over exposed light and airy shots
We love light and airy! 🙂
hiw nych do you charge?
We will discuss that in the next video. 👍
