Thanks Dennis and congratulations, yes the FJR is a bulletproof machine and there is nothing like it out there, hope you enjoy it as much as i do and be safe out there!
Got a 03 with 100km. Still pulls like a train and steady at 120mph. I hit 150 mph last year. I chickend out. It did not and was still climbing pretty well.
That old thing stilll moves!❤ I want one but i think id lose my licence in no time. Here in the uk speed cameras are everywhere seems like and they did my wife for going 33mph in a 30 lol.
Yeah i definitely dont recommend because the fjr get up to speed pretty quickly even with 20+ years on her. We are lucky here in the 🇺🇸 for not having speed traps and cameras everywhere so we get to do abit over posted speed limit once in a while :)
This remained me of that time when few friends from the motorcycle group that ride mostly 600 and 750, they asked if if this big thing was fast. I just laughed.
i get that all the times, most riders think that FJRs are heavy, slow, and cant handle, specially younger riders on their sport bikes.... until they see my old FJR passing them and disappear in the distance lol.... love this bike!
I have a huge “stream” windscreen. You can ga realy fast and have no feeling of speed. Rides so calm the FJR on high speeds. 180km/h with open helmet is relaxing;)
Every time I run mine like that I come to the next red light thinking it's gonna be knocking and rattling but it just stops and purrs like it was nothing.
No shot 😂 it’s a 4cyl Yamaha. I hate when I see videos of people who ride these and lug them around. If anything will cause knocking and rattling its lugging your bike around. I don’t shift mine under 4k rpm and it’s smoothest this way . 4k isn’t even half of the rpm range which is baby speed for the Yamaha
Lol! You put your limbs in danger for this video to impress folks you don’t even know. 😂😂 I love my FJR but I love my well being a lot more than getting a few likes from strangers.
hey Shuja, thanks for watching and great that you are enjoying your FJR as well. Watch my other videos and you will see that this is how i ride, been riding this way for more than 20+ years now, chasing fast bikes and supercars whenever i get a chance, i have no need to impress anyone as i am well known in my area already specially by the local police. Enjoy your bike and ride safe!
Love my FJR.
me too, i havent been riding my sportbike after i got the FJR, very happy with it as you can see in this video :)
They are amazing motorcycles, I enjoy mine as well.
chasing and passing!! Well done. Thanks for the video. You got me thinking about buying one of those FJRs
Thanks for sharing! It was great seeing you that day! If I had known you were going to push it, I would have waited to go with you.
Just picked up a 2017 with 14K miles in mint condition, what a great machine!! Good riding man.
Thanks Dennis and congratulations, yes the FJR is a bulletproof machine and there is nothing like it out there, hope you enjoy it as much as i do and be safe out there!
FJR1300, a CROTCH ROCKET FOR GROWNUPS
100% agree, its super comfy and can also keep up with more agile bikes

Yeah the fjr is great...... like a Swiss army knife, my other bike is a ducati but i find myself riding the fjr more than the duc :)

It’s the ultimate sleeper bike. I wanted one as soon as I saw it had the big 4 cyl

Yes the FJR1300 is pretty good handling and can keep up without a problem with younger and less experienced riders on faster and newer sportbikes.

Yeah dude it’s more like the camera was just there . He wasn’t riding that way because of the camera😂
Don't underestimate the FJR with a rider who can ride, wish i could see that paint job ?
Epic !!
Your bike should be carbon free now
