I am surprised you have used so little scripture endeavoring to show the present day need for the power of the Holy Spirit in the life and ministry of the believer and the Acts 2:39 ptomise which is “unto you and to your children, even them who are afar off AS MANY AS THE LORD OUR GOD SHALL CALL” The question is not; Do you have the Holy Spirit; but are you filled with the Holy Spirit, overflowing and empowered for ministry? Are you among them who are afar off who the Lord Gid has called? Are you depending on your own strength and natural abilities or are you living, moving and ministering in the supernatural power and gifts of the Holy Spirit! Am I a carnally minded Christian focused on my own personal needs and wants? I was brought up in a pentecostal church. It was an unruly church. I have seen both true and false. As a result I made an ultimate decision that where there were the gifts I would not attend with my children because it really was stigmatizing to attend the church of my childhood. The things that you are speaking about I have witnessed. I've been open that I don't believe that the Bible has ended the gifts, Although like you, I also prayed to be filled when I was a young person and did not receive. I also said to God similarly to you, if you want to fill me I'm always willing. All that to say.... Wouldn't it be good to acknowledge the past chaos of churches in order to explain how those who are against supernatural gifts found their foothold in this conversation? And they did use conversation, not Bible. Lastly, thank you for speaking on this and I really enjoyed your interview with Michael Brown from a year ago. This 2 part video has me stirred. I believe the Lord didn’t fill me when I was young because I really wasn't saved. I really didn’t understand until I needed Him to clean up my mess. But then all these years l tried to do the work of the Spirit in my life and those around me, the confusion I adopted by being in powerless churches. Oh God help me!
Hello - I'm appreciative of your teaching. Looking at the title picture with yellow flames on heads - I saw these flames over people the night that I came to the Lord & they were electric blue. There were many other things I saw that night including huge transparent golden angels & another angel dressed in metal armour over chain mail covering. But I was introduced to the Holy Sirit in a way that I never even heard of before. Without living in the Spirit these coming days - we will not survive. As long as we do, we will be directed & will 'hear' His leading.
Jesus came to set the captives free. Free from the penalty the power and the presence of sin. We turn from our sin by faith In the finished work of the Cross. Justification Regeneration Glorification. Not just forgiveness but the way we walk talk and us being like him when we see him. All by the Cross. We accept it as done paid in full by Christ. So if a person doesn't believe in eternal security their not trusting in the finished work of the Cross, Jesus to save them. Dont neglect this Great Salvation. Just a note to share too: Several of my denominational friends that I have shared the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with struggle with how to activate speaking in tongues. They also camp frequently on I Corinthians 13.... the love chapter..... that tongues etc. will end up fading away so tongues is not important. Please pray saints their hearts be opened. Minister with gentleness and avoid dogma. 😊
My Bible is an NLT version and 1 Corinthians 13:10 says 10 But when the end comes these special gifts will disappear. The footnotes suggest the gifts are not needed in Heaven…so the gifts will no longer be needed. Most people believe that means on earth. I believe it’s after we depart hallelujah

Don’t be afraid of what you hear. Open your mouth and speak but don’t speak prayers in English or anything in English. Just allow the Holy Spirit to take over your tongue. If it sounds crazy it don’t matter. It’s not an English language. If you only say a couple of syllables just continue to speak those syllables. You grow in your language the same way you learn to talk as a toddler. You can’t speak full sentences as a toddler right?! Well you must grow in the language God chooses for you also. Do this every day. You will see that you’ll begin to add syllables to it quickly. As much as you pray. Just focus on Jesus and you will grow. Remember that it won’t come as a full language at first no more than when you were learning to talk but the key is to not stop no matter how you sound and to intimately talk to Jesus the giver of all gifts. Meaning we are more powerful and helpful to others and ourselves when we can speak in our Holy Spirit given language. They have two different functions! You can be born of the Holy Spirit and have salvation without being Baptized with the gifts of the Holy Spirit. The ultimate goal is to achieve both however, one we help achieve , the other is given as a gift.
No they are not the same brother. When you ask Jesus in your life to lead and guide you and ask for forgiveness of your sins etc. you take in the spirit of God. When you are “baptized” in the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues to be used in your prayer life. For you to become a “bold” witness for our Jesus. Then there is the “gift” of tongues for to give messages in the church for the building up and edifying the body.

Do know, we are at a deficit without the BAPTISM of the Holy Spirit. Meaning we are more powerful and helpful to others and ourselves when we can speak in our Holy Spirit given language. We are speaking directly to God when we speak in tongues and satan can't understand us.
Being BORN of the Holy Spirit is your salvation. Being Born of the Holy Spirit is giving your life to Jesus Christ. Confessing with your mouth, and believing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Asking forgiveness of your sins and accepting Him, Jesus as your Lord and Savior which means your forgiven and therefore born again.
Being Baptized in the Holy Spirit is being given the gift of tongues or other gifts. My understanding is that there are 9 gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Born of the Spirit and baptized of the Spirit are not different. They are the same!
They have two different functions!
You can be born of the Holy Spirit and have salvation without being Baptized with the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
The ultimate goal is to achieve both however, one we help achieve , the other is given as a gift.

No they are not the same brother. When you ask Jesus in your life to lead and guide you and ask for forgiveness of your sins etc. you take in the spirit of God.
When you are “baptized” in the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues to be used in your prayer life. For you to become a “bold” witness for our Jesus. Then there is the “gift” of tongues for to give messages in the church for the building up and edifying the body.

And salvation at the time of Jesus was for the Jews only but He told the apostles to go into ALL the world
