And we haven’t had many witches? Dawg, tales of the empires was mainly about Morgan, whom is a witch. Ashoka? a bunch of witches. The clone wars? Involved a bunch of witches. And now the acolyte, witches too. But witches that can apparently create life by tugging on the threads of the force. Well gee, if it was that simple. Both plagueis and palpatine would have been able to create life at any moment. Talson, a witch far more powerful than any of the the witches from acolyte. Could conjure life whenever. Vader would have been able to bring padme back to life. But none of these characters, whom have proven to be far more stronger than these witches in acolyte. Can create life using the force. Why should these witches be able too? Because they’re lesbians? L writing.

1st Two episodes were decent to me. This episode was terrible. Bad acting and nonsense lol
They are from a coven and they, the coven, are all dead now. We did not see them die. We did not see a Jedi raise a hand to them. We get hints about the twins, where they came from, but no answers. There was nothing here to shake up anything and it just created more questions. Honestly, you are giving more theories than the actual show did. This episode just solidifies my decision to wait to watch the rest of the episodes till the 17th. Nothing was revealed here at all.

I dug the first 2 episodes a lot, didn’t understand the hate… but this was honestly terrible to me. What a let down of a reveal and execution.

We need to see how the twins were created, we need to know how all the witches died(I understand there was a fire, but the fire cannot be how they died since everyone were just laying on the ground) And a good explanation as to why Mae is evil would be great.

My group of all life loving SW fans we are all ok with this episode. These are witches like the nights sisters nothing new. They have another view of the Force everyone who's not a Jedi have their view of it. The Jedi are 10/10 they have heart and are making Order mistakes they're not yet aware of. They left mysteries to be told later. They just have to not break the Sith mythos and this series will be gold.

I don’t agree this episode has “changed” or “retcon” the nature of the force.
The Jedi have their interpretation of the force and the Witches have their interpretation.
It’s like different religions.
But I do have issue with the ‘I’ll kill you’ surprise- it’s so ridiculous. Especially with regard to twins.
Be honest… have you been paid by or given tickets to an event from Disney? I’m not trying to be mean, it’s just I watched this episode and am having an extremely difficult time believing you would give such a glowing review had there not been some sort of incentive in it for you. I feel sorry for Zach, this video got absolutely hatebombed by trolls. I didn't watch the episode, true. But that was because I wasn't able to watch it on Wednesday and by the time I was able to get some, I'd been spoiled of the main plot points. It didn't sound crap, but it wasn't enough for me to want to watch it when I basically knew what was happening. Though kudos to Zach for leaving the hate comments up, I'd have done a purge every 24 hours!
That is an unqualified statement. His view count on this video is not significantly different, and in fact lower, than others, leading to the logical conclusion that the downvotes are from regular viewers, which, given the content, makes sense: this video is claiming that what may actually be the worst reviewed piece of Star Wars content since the Christmas special, is actually his favorite, and very good... which is clearly a lie, suggesting ulterior motives.
And to be clear, this series, along with this episode particularly, is objectively bad. Some gems:

The lesbian Coven of witches that found a way to procreate without men is clearly Leslye Headland's gay fanfiction, the show is directing you to hate the Jedi (the historically good guys) and empathize with Mae, who is a full blown psychopath solely responsible for the death of her family, and the acting and dialogue is atrocious. Let's be clear, the show is horrible, and the general reviews from almost every site reinforce it, so there is no way any mentally stable person thinks this show is good. That is why Zach's viewers are annoyed with him shilling for this show.
I will agree with you on one point though, kudos to him for leaving up the criticism. Now I just hope he learns from it.

I honestly didn't like this episode. I normally love the spiritual side of Star Wars but this? It didn't feel like Star Wars to me. The first two episodes were good but this one just wasn't for me. No shade on anyone who does though

Glad you are giving a positive review, you could be a bit more critical about the show, for me the writing and pacing is a bit lame and there is a lot of subtlety that I don't think the haters are getting. I just hope there is more that I'm not getting that will can tie into a greater story arch, but I'm really not sure it can be done in 8 episodes!

I love that there are groups with different views of "The Force". It's a huge universe and not everyone is going to have the same beliefs. It also makes a lot of sense that some Jedi would see them as a threat. I'm looking forward to when Sol has to admit to Osha that he knew what happened to the Coven.

Akira Kurosawa's "Seven Samurai" heavily influenced the first trilogy, and this series seems heavily influenced by "Rashomon." As a huge fan of Kurosawa's films, I like where this story might be headed.

Anyway Headland’s pitch for the show has her basically diminishing George’s involvement in the franchise. She’s basically implying that she’s not concerned with keeping up with the lore.
And now that the Nightsisters can make force babies themselves it will continue to undermine the Chosen One Concept
Everyone is so adamant about moving on from the Skywalkers to a point they undermine them and their importance. I know I used the word “undermine” a lot but it’s true

I’m glad someone liked it. I think the Disney hate just crescendoed into ultimate hate toward this episode. Rightfully so. But the episode itself was great. Apart from some wonky cg and acting, which is the current bar of Disney, the way they revealed stuff, and left out key details about the coven’s death etc was done great.
I am willing to give it a chance, it certainly is done more competently than mando3, Obi wan, bobafett, and all of d+ marvel.
