this song wasn’t actually a remix by Jack Wall & Trent Reznor, its literally just the first version that Skrillex and Alvin Risk had before they changed it and settled with the Neon Mix but its still a timeless classic 👌

Man, the memories! I loved Black Ops 2, it's as crazy and bold as cod got, tried so many new things, we got the worst but most iconic zombies map, a crazy campaign with so many possibilities and replayabilities, the overpowered pistols that could compete with main guns, the 0 recoil pistol lol
My guess is that this is a raw song file that was put into the game by skrillex and officially mixed as a part of the game and never got an official release until the song was made as a neon mix... I’m just finding the origin of the song release ..maybe it was ripped somewhere along the way I’m guessing for it to be available to peeps to hear off the game

the original song was made by skrillex and alvin risk. Jack wall dealt with the production, Trent reznor dealt with mixing and mastering.
@@phoenixteargaming This is definitely not the original Skrillex mix, This has definitely been remixed by someone but it's hard to tell if it's done by Trent Reznor. I doubt he did much other than mixing/mastering it.

Yes, it is. The original was fairly different, this remix was made by the sound designers at Treyarch, who are the ones credited with the remix in the video.
@@xaqqa Mate, this is the original mix. The one in Recess is the Neon Mix, therefore this is the original one. Treyarch has never said that he remixed it. This version is just Skrillex and Alvin Risk.

Unfortunately it was never released. Given that the track is like a decade old, I doubt it's happening. There is the song "Try It Out (Neon Mix)" on skrillex's album Recess, one of the drops sounds a lot like this version.
@@davidwalker3642 the drop is legit just the 2nd drop of the recess album version (minus the B section) which is essentially the Try Harder mix version
