21:54 "Was"? The Silurian set never sold out. It's still available to buy right now. I didn't bother, waited and got it a third cheaper on eBay. I'm betting this Fugitive set will still be available in a years time too. Don't mean that in a negative way, just an observation. It's a misconception that this stuff sells out quickly. Not counting the 14th Sonic, which had a whole other market to tap into, literally the only Character Exclusives that have sold out quickly were the first two (Mechanus and Abominable sets) and even they took a few weeks iirc. The Regeneration Set only sold out last month or so and that featured the 14th Doctor, which I’d imagine would’ve been more desired than the Fugitive Doctor. I could be totally wrong of course, but the relatively high price combined with the fact that it’s been suggested that the Fugitive Doctor is going to be released separately anyway, plus the fact that they’re limiting it to 2 per person (which I point out because the Regeneration Set had no such limitation, at least initially, and still took over a year to sell out) suggests to me that these will probably be around for a long while. Unless I’ve severely underestimated the appeal of her non-electronic TARDIS…
The head sculpt looks better with what they tried with the John Sim first wave of the master figure , looks great look forward to get mine having received postage notifaction
Just something wrong about giving ANY "version" of The Doctor a gun for an accessory....and they gave us ANOTHER standard TARDIS! I'll pass on this one, especially since I don't want to even think about the Timeless Child.
These sets are expensive but I collect each Doctor and their Tardis. The worst part is that the flight control Tardis from nearly 20years ago are so much better. They still got my money tho for this lol
Can't wait when My One comes yeah 40 pond's is bit deep and The Easter egg for the TARDIS is sadly wrong it should really have a The hallway and the TARDIS would be on the right side in timeless children but like you said I'm gonna keep on the box great video
The Second Doctor Abominable Snowmen set was actually £39.99 and not £45 as you state here. Your words to describe that set at the time with regards to the price of it were "that is shocking that".
When they first downgraded their standard packaging to not have windows it was claimed to be about "reducing the amount of plastic for environmental reasons". So were they lying back then or have they changed their minds? If they're really making these for collectors they should stop downgrading the quality, and at £40 it should come with a proper diorama background, and have electronics. Personally I gave it a miss because I don't want reminding of anything to do with the Timeless Child era. But good review anyway.
A lot of the comparisons you draw between sets are just not on the same level. The Bradley set had far more minimal changes than this set did with its figure only requiring a head swap for example, so then then being able to include the electronics makes sense. Also, the quantity argument isn’t a straight comparison because B&M put in funding in advance, whereas on this CO will have to meet the whole cost in advance. You keep saying ‘there’s no reason for them not to include electronics’ and that’s really not true.
Personally I prefer sets on the character website they are much easier to grab then the b&m sets can never find the b&m ones, I wreckon they could’ve sold this one for £30 though
@@keestar8740ye especially considering that the Fugitive Doc figure just reuses the entire waist, upper legs & upper arms from Donna as well - even the lower legs are just retools of Donna's bc the legs have the same creases only with different boots & the arms have the exact same lines. I bet the torso underneath that new shirt & waistcoat piece is also reusing Donna's one bc CO don't tend to mix different figures parts together very often.
@@6sekdamn I bet PB Props cringed when he saw this new roof then because I remember in his vid where he talked about designing the CO classic TARDIS, how it originally had a similar over the top wood texture. Thankfully he told them to tone it down & that's what we got in the classic TARDIS sculpt we see nowadays. It shows though how when Al Dewar does this shit on his own, he does clearly need help designing stuff because otherwise stuff like that roof happens🤣
@@6sek The figure looks nothing like her, the TARDIS is not electronic and the self insert paper is the last nasty element of cheapness. £40? Forget it!

Is the Tardis slanted or is it on an uneven surface?

I wish Hasbro had the rights to Doctor Who figures. This one might have a decent face, but the rest of it looks like a bloody kiddy playmobil figure.

Overpriced af
There’s no excuse for it character options are just greedy I ended up paying double because there website is shit!!!
The video is too long.
Then don't watch the video
Is it just the lighting or have they gone way overboard with the wood grain texture on that new roof? It looks like a fuckin tree🤣
No it is overboard
