Love this set but the price does not sit well with me at all I understand inflation and increasing costs but £35 for a non electronic tardis when we got an electronic tardis for around £30 in last years b&m sets is worrying as it will make it harder for people to collect the figures due to becoming too expensive and Al’s response of “don’t buy them then” is disheartening as a collector myself I love Al dewar and the hard work he puts into these sets but that response was strange he should be trying to bring more people in not draw them away great sets this year but the pricing is making it hard for the average collector

It's already very difficult to just find, with them being B&M Exclusives, because I hardly ever see them in Scotland at any of my stores for miles, none of them seem to get them

I'm actually quite keen on the unpainted face, it put me in mind of the figures from 2007 where they attempted this, the much maligned "waxy" masters and pentallion doctor. I think if they'd used a less translucent plastic for those, as they have done in this figure, those figures would have gone over a lot better, the idea is quite good, because we often lose a lot of the detail of a sculpt under thick paint. I'd love to see a peter capaldi figure rendered in this manner.
When I was first told there would be a new colin figure I initially assumed it was going to be a red tie trial version, this was not one I would have guessed we'd get. But as you say it would need a new head and I'm not sure that's going to happen, with the cost of a new head combined with the paint app costs for colin's outfit.

What an odd choice for a Sixth Doctor figure, I love it! Definitely will be an interesting part of my collection, and it’s nice to finally get his Tardis into the line as well!
Al said on the reveal video that the tardis is meant to be the ultimate adventure one but couldn't get the police box sign correct as tooling would damage the mold. But I am very happy with the look of the tardis. Like you love a battered Tardis
It’s certainly not meant to be the Ultimate Adventure one haha. That thing is closer to a shed than a police box!

no, there was one made and auctioned for charity, at the time it was said they won’t release one

@@jcrossan1351 but why would they release a pink tardis when an accurate 7th doctor blue prop would be more sought after? a pink tardis is rather niche as it featured briefly in one story.. idk i guess an online exclusive if ever released
@@TheExpandedWho we probably won’t get an accurate 7 box for a long time if ever as Al dewar said in the reveal video for this tardis the mould has been used so many times any attempts to improve the signage would risk damaging the whole mould so it probably won’t happen plus people have been asking for the pink tardis for ages now and it’s an easy stoner for character to make without spending to much on nee moulds

With all these lovely new figures coming out doesn't it make you want to come back a do a one off special figure adventure. I watched the entire time war again yesterday, its just so spectacular.
They are playing risky games exposing the contents like that. Idk what it’s like in a few places of the uk but where I’m from, that’s just an easy target for people to steal really easily. That plastic usually prevented that but with a couple snips to the wires holding them in and you got yourself a free figure there
Awesome to have this figure, not only as a fan of Sixie, but also for any newer fans who have wanted figures for each of the Doctor's and missed out on the original 6th Doctors and can't afford second hand copies.
I did seen some old pictures from the stage play with the 3rd doctor instead and it did had this 80s box so it's actually correct and can't wait for this set even that 6th doctor I always wanted keep up the good work

I really hope we get an all the Doctors, or at least a set of multi-Doctor sets again someday. I kinda missed the window on the 11 Doctors set and, as much as I like some of the recent Doctor and TARDIS figure sets I kinda don't want my room littered with a dozen TARDISes if I'm trying to collect the Doctors 😅
Yeah, I would rather see some Doctor 3 packs. 1-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12, 13-15, and finally a Hurndall/Hurt/Bradley set.

I could take or leave the quirky Sixth Doctor choice (okay I'll take it) but for my money that's one of the nicest TARDIS toys I've ever seen!

Ultimate Adventure was adapted by Big Finish so he has worn it on audio. Wish he'd wear it again it's fantastic.

Do you think character options would make great retro marvel and DC figures if they had the money and the license? I can only wish because I would love to have a 5 inch Spider man figure that I can put next to my doctor who stuff.

Very nice sixth doctor variant, not really bothered with another tardis though, although it looks pretty good
On its own, the sixth Doctor figure has been one of my favorites, but when displayed with other Doctors he looks way too small. Next to the Tardis he looks closer to scale.
Yes. Fortunately, he rarely appeared alongside the other Doctors. He looks fine next to the 2nd Doctor and Peri.

I mist admit i really do love this Tardis, its simular to the visitation Tardis, but the adition of the windows and the weathering reallybdoes ad something to it. The 6th Doctor is just OK tbh, it is unfortunate that the price has gone up so much for a non electronic Tardis. And Al's response of 'Just don't buy it' is frankley Chuldish. I think he needs to be reminded that of it eernt for us (His Loyal Customers) he wouldnt have anything!! Greya Review as always Matt. Looking forward to wave 2.
Yeah, not a good way for anyone who is trying to sell something to speak to their customers. Sometimes Al Dewar can be a real idiot. I'm reminded of the 5th Doctor figures missing celery, and his immature response when the fans complained about it.
They should redesign the packaging, I can't buy it when it's exposed like that

It's nice, but in all honesty it's money for old rope. They seem positively allergic to doing anything new with the franchise at the moment, just recolours and rehashes. Maybe we'll get some new stuff if the Specials get the audience back.

I've been to 3 B & M stores this week and all they had was the 9th Doctor. What's going on?
They're not out until September.
That is NOT the Sixth Doctors TARDIS (lamp on the plinth, large base) and it is not a new model. It is the same season 19 TARDIS theyve been churning out for ages just a darker shade of blue. The paint job is akin to season 22 and 23 TARDIS but thats it.
Not interested in another tardis no different to all others iits never been very acurate. love the Dr, saw pertwee in the play. Need the red variant of 6.
