My son, who lives in Alabama, flew with his cousin and his cousin son to Minnesota to a double concert ! He sent me pictures and videos. It was amazing.!
These are just lose jams those 2 do to give James/Lars a break...usually its something they work on the day before. Its a rush song because they were im Canada...ita not that deep
Funny story: Kirk actually lost it on his guitar tech after that cover, who fixed his mistakes and Kirk and Greeny came out again for The Unforgiven and it was MUCH better.
That guitarist in Metallica definately doesn't have the chops of the great National Treasure Alex Lifeson. This is the first song Rush got on the Radio in the U.S.A. and got them their US record deal with Mercury Records in 1974. It would be a staple of their live show for the next 7 years.
Sorry, but I saw them in Dallas and when these two had their two man "jam" it was definitely a low moment of the show. This is why you have a front man. Don't send these dorks out there by themselves. I get what they are trying to do and connect with the audience but I feel like I paid to hear the good shit and not them noodling around. That said, it was a kick ass show.
Well that's your problem don't listen to it then Metallica rules and they always will the first three letters of my initials and then all I see a be positive that's it if you don't like them that's all there is to it keep it to yourself you don't need to post it that's it that's all
@@craigb834Dude I am blown away how bad that was. Rob shouldn’t “sing” at all, and if Kirk’s guitar was so out of tune why the Hell didn’t he grab another one? This was right up there with Purple Rain.
I will never fckin understand why dont they use Evertune bridge system. Everytime Kirk plays Greenie, its out of tune. Audience hears it, he must hear it.
This isnt supposed to be the best cover ever ao settle down people. Its a loose fun cover or "doodle" as they call it, they did a rush song to pay tribute to our nation so get over it
At all the shows, Rob and Kirk do a jam session. Always something different. Just them 2. Not a cover, just jammin', for fun like music is meant to be.
Um, I guess. I'd rather hear them do it well. Actually I'd rather listen to "All the World's a Stage". I think I'll do that ! ruclips.net/video/ix0UnBHIBtQ/видео.html
The vocals are why hes a Bassin' Man.
Was waiting to see how Lars ruined that drum part. And he didn't even attempt it? Okay lmao. Excellent
It needed to be said!
At all the shows, Rob and Kirk do a jam session. Always something different. Just them 2. Has nothing to do with Lars.
one of the great riffs
Honestly, if Geddy and Alex played a venue exactly like this without the drums, I believe everyone will enjoy that performance.
Yeah that was pretty sad

Kirk & Rob は、全会場で、その土地に縁のある曲をカバーするのですね👍💕
Can someone explain to me when Kirk and Rob do these cover songs why do they always sound horrible like they're horrible musicians
obvious answer, but interesting that Lars didn't join in....even on a pre-Peart song
at all of the shows. these 2 put on a jam session performance. always only those 2. 🙏
Wow that's amazing. Just like they did in TO over a decade ago.
Lars knew not to even try

This comment should be pinned. In fact, this should be the only comment on here
The tuning!!Jeez, give that guitar to someone who deserves it.

Now I'll go listen to the Pros

Nice try guys. But thats a no for me

@@Michele-l3q OK Mr. run on, non-sensical sentence guy. This was awful, admit it

yeah I heard the outta tune, but I think we didn't care because of the impromptu feel.
Story is that Kirk had a fit after that song and let his guitar tech know.

Dad, I'm upset you sent me this link. Don't ever call Rush your favorite band ever again....

Leave the Rush covers to Primus guys… 🤦🏻♂️
Or the Foo's

If you’re not in tune, STOP PLAYING.
Metallica needs to do a studio version of this!
Was that guitar drop-tuned?
Try to tune the guitar next time
Técnico dele deve ter tomado esporro kkkkkkk
Oh noooooo.....
😢
Really???
Not the best cover of working man
It probably ranks among the worst working man cover.
Tune that guitar
I wish they wouldn't do shit like this. It's cringy.
i wish they would've played something from the hip 😢 still, better than the edmonton jam from night one 😭
😂what a loser comment ....must be from Ontario
He so flat but still awesome!!!!!!
Eeeeerrrrr no
Totally butchered the song. But hey, they had fun. That's all that matters, right?
Um, I guess. I'd rather hear them do it well. Actually I'd rather listen to "All the World's a Stage". I think I'll do that ! ruclips.net/video/ix0UnBHIBtQ/видео.html
Wow. That guitar is so out of tune it isn't funny. Painful.
One is not a singer. Other is not a guitarist.
Kirk always sounds out of tune to me.
No
Would also have been cool if they played Short End Of A Wishbone by Haywire! 🎸🔥👍
Out of tune Again???? Stop chopping this song up please, like a mock rather than tribute🤦♂️🤦♂️
Holy out of tune batman.
That was pretty pathetic, and I love Rush more than Metallica. Out of tune, whatever is was. Geeezuz H, man .... cmon
😢🤮😡
out of tune adding insult to injury
it was bad
horríble. i hate this jams.
Way 'da kill that song Metallica. You all suck....
LAME
In that neck of the woods you shoulda done a Nickelback cover (of them doing a Metallica cover
NOPE!!! COULD YOU IMAGINE LARS PLAYING NEIL'S PART WHEN HE CAN'T EVEN PLAY HIS OWN.
Except it's not Neil's part...
@@kyletoy2556 that's why I said (could you imagine)
@MyBrothersKeeper101 in that case, no I could not imagine it, because again, it's not Neil's part...
