I swear the thumbnail said over "feeling" my fish which maybe part of my dyslexia or the arm in the way, either way glad I clicked, always a humour inclusive and enjoyable video from you dude! Love it, that knife fish that came out.... wow, stunning beyond words!!
Over feeding needs to be thought out carefully. As Corey at Aquarium Co-op says, "I don't just feed the fish, I feed the whole tank." It may look bad but it adds fertilizer to the plants, it feeds the snails and other sub-surface critters. So remember feeding means your whole tank not simply the fish.
OMG i am hunting those large leaves Echinodorus now for years,i had it when i was a kid,it even was 2 times bigger than yours,it grew long branches with little white flower, and grew little plants that i could sell,or plant in other aquariums too,man o man,i dont have now an aquarium, but if could get my hands on an echinodorus again,i would certainly make a semi walstad tank just for that !!! ah such a nice plant, beautifull absolutely gorgeous, also yours look really healthy, really nice,ah man,i cry back my nice hobby....I just couldnt do it...i had to go in Germany to work form Romania,to make a living....i hope i can setle in some place at some point in my life and set up a big 500L tank
Hello from Tennessee, USA. Watch you all the time (especially during Dec.) I feed all my Pleco tanks french cut " un-salted" green beans several times a week. Probably could do regular salted, but I just get un-salted just because... I've found that a lot of my other fish like them too, especially my Severams & Polar Blue/Snow White Cichlids!!!!! Good day!!!!
Unless you know a tank's stocking, you can't comment about whether the amount fed is too much or too little. If I fed little and often, my corydoras would starve, with the food taken on the drop by mid water species. I tend to feed flake in the morning and pellets in the evening and tend to feed all at once both times so that shy or bottom feeders get a share of the action. Only you know your fish's feeding habits, what works and what doesn't.
No such thing as underfeeding, usually the wrong food. So many fishes we keep are grazers so it's little but often, particularly discus, Loricariids, many loaches etc. Great to see you mentioned food expanding in their stomach which probably happens.
your not over feeding your fish, because you can clearly see how healthy they are. i over feed my guppies to get them to grow better. and a by product of that over feeding is algae. and no matter how hard you try to keep it clean. its always there. so how clean your tanks are, is more proof. so, well done you lol

I would say i definitely UNDERFEED my fish compared to most. There’s always food to find in my tanks that I’m not putting in. Algae, skuds etc.
Totally agree, I feed my fish every two days. However, i reckon it all depends on what fish you keep.
Nearly 99% of fish keepers over feed their fish, myself included.
That artemia pellet food is so cool, might have to see if I can find something like that stateside

Looked fine to me I feed my fish 4 times a day I believe they stay healthier the more they eat, especially with a good quality food
