    I like how it has a power switch on the back. Great suggestion on switching the plugs, stretch is no good 😆 . Nice all around charger with all the bells and whistles, even reads for you. Great review Albert!!!!

    I like how the charger is not overly oversized and somewhat portable. Great review as usual!, very in depth

      Yeah it is tiny for a AC charger, but the power should be enough for most people.

    So many chargers out these days i have the htrc duo duel i have had it a few years now and it has never gave me any issues. But i really like the size of these newer ones thanks for sharing Albert

    The form factor on this is great! I really like the sizes that Toolkit RC makes. I use a HOTA for my daily charger, but this would be a nice size for travel. I have to be honest, I don’t think I would take advantage for the audio functions. I tend to sit very close by while charging. Agreed about the xt30 location should be moved. I ended up using adapter cables for my balance leads.
    Nice little charger. Thanks Albert!

    Nice review, hopefully toolkit hears what you are saying about the outlets and switch them around on there next batch, ect.

    Oooohhhhhh…aahhhhh…look at that power switch in the back, simple, practical, regen discharge options. What else could you want? Seriously though, other companies need to take note.

    Good Video. It looks like a charger for a new person to the RC hobby. I think the most important thing to look for in a charger is if it is intuitive, a well laid out menu and the user feels comfortable with it. I'm finding that everyone's experience with chargers and any other product is very different. Some swear by the product while others swear off said product. This looks like a great little charger. It's compact, provides a useful set of features. I see absolutely no faults (arguable) in this charger. The menu layout looks relatively similar to other chargers. I like the charging bar/time. That is a good point and noteworthy flaw, the balance leads don't reach. Great Video! Excellent feature set. Thank-you.

      I think they need to have a wizard on their website to help people choose the charger they want based on features because they have a wide variety in their lineup and it's confusing even to me.

      @@AlbertKimTV I think manufacturers sometimes try to push out a variety of products in the hopes of creating products to cover/appeal to all/most individuals in the market. Others rely on consumer feedback and designing a product that encompasses features that most people have indicated they would like to have. I use a HobbyMate D6 it has all the features I require, some I infrequently use and others I'll probably never use, but its nice to know they are there.

    Great compact charger with a lot of features, most AC chargers are much larger than this one.
    I enjoy that they added the XT30 output, most only come with XT60.
    ToolkitRc makes great chargers, but i agree with you on the XT30 location, it should be closer to the balance lead connector.
    Awesome video Albert Kim.

    Oh, very nice addition to the family. Now all they need is the dual battery version with AC (and swapped XT30 /XT60) and I'll buy it 🤣 I have the M6 and find it a great little charger, amazing power for its size. To be honest, the XT30 wouldn't bother me as I use a six-battery parallel charge board for my XT30s, but it certainly needs to change. Depending on what they come out with in the near future, I'll probably get the dual-battery M6D soon since always charging two batteries at a time now anyway.

    I've only used 2 lipo chargers since starting the hobby 5 months ago. First we a isdtQ8 and that took a crap on me and progressiveRC would'nt fix it only after 3 wks. Second one is a toolkitrc M7 which has been great and is super tiny. That one you just reviewed looks to be great but just a little big imho. Keto up the great work my friend.

      Now im conflicted of either a M6D or HOTA. Whats you opnion?
      I dont like using parallel board tho..

    Fantastic review, Albert! 😃
    I have the ToolkitRC M6 for more than 2 years now and it still works great! I really like their stuff, but I think the next thing I'm going to buy from them is the regulated power supply. That thing is tiny!
    Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

    Awesome video as always Albert! Thanks for all your contributions to us folks who are looking to soak up as much knowledge as possible. I just bought the iSDT PD60 for on the go charging that you reviewed Jul 15, 2020. Haven't used it yet, but can let you know how it works if you want. If you're looking for video ideas, I'd love to see a demo of how to control a RunCam Thumb Pro via UART (Tx/Rx) ports. I see the diagram and instructions on the manual, but can't find any videos of anyone actually demonstrating it being done. Stopping a video and starting a new one mid-flight isn't necessary per se, because editing in post can take care of all that. It's still a nice option to have. Would be especially useful if using a low GB micro SD card, or for hiking/travel when data storage needs to be efficient because computer access between shooting is limited.

    • @nuno5125
      @nuno5125 2 года назад +1

      That would make a great video, could be helpful to other people top. RunCam Thumb Pro seems to be a great camera, i might buy it some day to use it with my micro drones.

      I've already demonstrated this feature a LONG time ago in the Peanut video. It uses the same protocols and setup. I recommend you watch that video regarding how to setup the remote camera control feature... ruclips.net/video/N-rw_lQ0op4/видео.html

    When you are measuring internal resistance, does it matter how much the battery is charged when you look at that number?

    • @AlbertKimTV
      @AlbertKimTV  3 месяца назад +2

      Yes, it changes as you charge it. I only look at the number at the end of the charge.
