Johnny Marr: “It was a nice moment and went off okay but when we played it again at Alexandra Palace, and opened the show with it, confetti was raining down on everybody from the ceiling and it was a really poignant moment for me. There’s a good recording of it on RUclips, it was just another one of those weird things that happens in life sometimes.
From around 4:14, it looks as if Al took off his shades to just see properly whether the person he saw was indeed the same person he's been seeing at all these gigs and he looks on in disbelief and surprise (you can almost see a gasp!) when he realizes it is indeed MrSecretDoor!! Hahaha
The funny thing is, in recent videos while touring TBH+C, you can see him staring dead on at MrSecretDoor on multiple occasions as well. We're too lucky to have them both I swear.
Wish I could be there. Mike Joyce (former drummer of the Smiths) was and wrote a post on facebook about a guy who didn't recognise him and during this song told him it was a Smith's song and that guy who played guitar was Johnny Marr, lel
I was there it was beautiful! When the band you’ve listened to all that summer and Johnny fucking Marr get together to open the gig with your favourite smiths song! Forget about it, get goosebumps now all those years later
I feel there's ALOT of 'The Smiths' in these two men,.. Two talents that come together.. Alex just knocks out cracking lyrics for fun & Miles with his kick ass guitar skills. Love it!
I qst brano poi... Brividi e tanti ricordi di giovinezza, angosce, amori, sentimenti.... Emozioni. Grandi the smiths
This is absolutely awesome. It is such an emotional track anyway, but to have 2 Kings of indie together and coupled with my 16 year son sending it me, there was a quiver in my voice when I described it to my partner
Please add Johnny Marr in the title!! I mean it is Johnny fucking Marr, my all favourite guitar player. For those who like him, I highly recommend his book, for those who don't like him I still do recommend his book. I have been waiting so long to see these guys together on stage. Great!
@@davidgriffiths2924 It’s funny how you talk about greater success when he is now more hated than ever (not by me I might add though) and there is far greater demand for Smiths songs than Morrissey’s solo endeavours. Just look at the streaming statistics as one example.
So I’m a huge AM and Alex Turner and TLSP fan, but I’d never seen this video. I just came here to watch covers of The Smiths songs and found this . Can’t believe my luck!
MrSecretDoor, can't believe I was standing next to you. That was my first visit of London specially to see TLSP. Show was amassing same as London is. Alex Turner is incredible. Can't wait to see him again.
Никогда так не визжала в своей жизни и не могу этого понять. Когда очень что-то или кто-то нравится, то всё во мне замирает и дыхнуть боишься, а руки держишь на груди.

Fucken brilliant. I love these moments. Is there a recording somewhere to download or stream or does it appear as a B side somewhere
@@Alpha_7227 i dont think so.
Marr fucking surfing off Morrissey's greatness. Twat.
@@davidgriffiths2924 That's a bit rough.
Isn’t it being poignant a bad thing though?

what ever his outfit is he's looking very Alexa Chung lol (not hating just noticing)
you fans just won't let it go, will you
i was there and it was absolutely INCREDIBLE. no words to describe the experience
^ 💔 it was unbelievable
He looks so dramatic hahaha kinda of funny

Do you know which video?
I don't know why but I'm crying because of this
ruclips.net/video/BESDL83usQs/видео.html Does it a few times in this.
Johnny Marr is like the master with his students, no one can look as effortlessly cool as him
How did they not run out of fucken petals? It was quite lovely along with the performance, though.
the amount of times i revisit this video..
so beautiful videos
Again
johnny marr just disappears into the darkness and then alex goes "good evening london" and then miles starts standing next to me.
legendary

johnny marr mentioned this very video in an interview he did recently
@@officeaddict33 thanks for the link!!!
You're welcome!
Its a “cover” but the original guy who made the song is literally playing it right there
Morrissey is not there. It's not the chords you sing. It's the lyrics. Terrible version!

This should be on the new EP I need a studio version.
Morrissey probably said no
Bob D I heard some of the songs cost too much for them to get
Abigail Weller definitely. I know Apple alone would've asked up the nose for "I Want You (She's So Heavy)"
Bob D Oh yeah I'm sure but is it Apple who controls that or is it whoever owns the Beatles discography?
I REALLY wanted a studio version of "I Want You (She's So Heavy)"

Johnny Fuckin' Marr??? Sound of his fucking guitar???
feels a lot more sinister than the original - love alex's spin on it (:
The way he stares right into the camera in the end, as if he's looking into your eyes...damn. Thanks a lot for this video!
I think he recognizes the dude holding the camera, because he has been in pretty much all their gigs at the front row...
