Had a shipping tube for fishing poles....came back from Springfield, MO to Washington National......they ran over the tube!!!! Tire marks and one end was crushed flat. All the rods were good, they had to buy a new shipping tube for me....:) ugh
Been to Bacurato 4 times in the past two years! Heck of a lake! very good fishing! biggest one i've caught there in 3 days worth of fishing is a 7lb. my friend got lucky with a 9.5 lb though on a 10XD citrus crank!

You should got fish at Lake Picachos, it only 1 hour away from Mazatlan Sinaloa. I've been there plenty of times it's a bass fishing paradise. All Googans should take a trip down there and have some competition between you guys.

Don’t know if you’d remember or not but before your surgery I made my high school parking spot “make every cast count”. I hope you and your family stay healthy through these crazy times. I fished it back in the late 60's and 70's. My Dad had Mex-Bass in Ciudad Obregon , Sonora on lake Oviachi or lake Obregon in the 70's .. Have you fished Obregon ??? I aint been on the lake since 1970's,,, i miss it so bad. The American Sportsman did 3 show's with Dad down there,,, Grits Gresham, Larry Czonka and Jim Kiick did a Hunting and Fishing show,,, Lee Trevino did a fishing show....and William Conrad did a show. I caught more 5 lb bass than you can ever imagine,,,, shot Ton's of Dove and Quail and Ducks... Before we moved down there, we would vacation in Obregon. One day, Dad, My Big Brother and i went hunting , camping way up the Lake,, Dad had a Browning 30-06 BAR,, Mick had a 12ga shotgun and i had a Browning 22mag lever action. We came into a cove, and there on the bank was a JAGUAR,,, we had that boat a rockin, i can still see Dad's bullets hit the mud and flying up right next to that cat,, the cat flew up in the air, came down and was doing circles, he got his bearing;s and took off for the brush . it hit the brush and 2 seconds later and right where that cat hit the Brush, a Bruja stepped out. It had a Black pointy Hoody and trench coat that went to the ground. It just stood there and stared at us. Dad freaked out and we cranked up and hauled ass out of there. I talked to Larry Czonka in Anchorage where i was living, 1996 to 2011, he came in the Coffee Company i worked for, Kaladi Bros Coffee. We talked about Dad and Obregon, i told Larry the story about the Jaguar and Bruja, Larry had been studying the Yaquis Indians down there,,,he told me that the Witch Doctors often had Jaguar's as Pets, I have always wondered what would have happen if we had hit that Cat.....the Purple rubber worm was the Killer on Lake Obregon for Bass,,,,,we also fished lake Guerrero, the Lake in Hermosillo north of Obregon... i think Obregon had the Biggest and Best Fishing,,, i want to see and get on that Lake one more time so bad, i cant stand it,,,BUT i value my Ear's and Head,,, maybe one Day
When we would go Dove hunting, as soon as the shooting started, little Mexican boys would hear us shooting and come over to us, we would hire them as bird boys for the Clients,,,south of Obregon where we hunted some, one of the bird boys turned out to be Fernando Valensula, the pitcher for the Dodgers
When Grits, Larry and Jim did the show, i had been out shooting with them, i was 13 years old i think, i could shoot the eyes out of Flies,,NO SHIT and i aint Kidding,,,any way one night i came in and dad say's Mark they like the way you shoot and they want you in the show,,BUT, they want you to cut your Hair. Why i ask dad ?? I dont know he said. I said i got the best looking Girl friends in Mexico, i anit changing Nuttin,,,so i wasnt in the show,,,,,Mama Cita's First,,,Ana Rebecka,, Blanca,,,que Bonita's
My Dad was Awesome,, every 6 months we had to go to Tucson and renew our Visas . We had a Motor Home, so this trip it was just me and Dad,, we hit the K-mart and Loaded up on Shotgun shells,,,Gun Powder and all the reloading stuff for shotgun shells, plus 80 cases of shotgun shells. Dad had a stash spot under the bed in the back of the motor Home. We got to the border and i could tell something was going on, Dad was trying not to let me see and hear what was happening,,but i was a sneaky little shit and i saw and heard what was happening. They caught us with all that stuff, i saw Dad hand the guy a couple hundred dollar bill's and he said,,,NOW dont call your damn cousin down the road, because I aint Paying him. They bust you at the border and then call their buddies down the road at the check points and you have to pay all of them down the check points,, Dad was so smart, he just paid off the border cops and not all the rest,, ha ha ha
I was living in pensacola FL in the 80's,, Ted Nugent was doing a concert in Biloxi MISS sept 22 1982. We had a ranch on the Snake River in Idaho,,,i got 2 Muley's with 30 inches on that ranch, i got the idea to write Ted a letter and ask him to go Mule Deer Hunting with me in Idaho, everyone said, he wont answer you, i said back, I dont think Ted is like that, so i sent him the letter and pictures. 2 nights before the show the phone rings,, is this Mark Gray ?? I thought it was a cop, oh crap, what did i do ?? This is Ted Nugent, i started shaking all over, i'm surprised i could even talk,,,, he put us seats on the STAGE,, took us out to Eat after the show,, and Hear come's the FUN,, he took us for a ride in a renta-car,,, You have not Lived until you go on a ride with Ted in a renta-car,,, Trust ME. Now thats what you call FUN. Been friends for over 40 years now, 1985 Ted called, you wanna go Bear Hunting with me in Ontario ?? FK yeah i do,,and i did, we had a Blast in the 220,000 dollar Bronco,,, all 4 tires off the ground most of the time,, Ted is a Great driver and will scare the shit out of you.. now i'm living In Texas, 20 miles from where i shot my first deer at age 11 in 1971, London and Ted lives 2 and a half hours away..my advice in Life,, Go for IT
