It is really hard to compete with shorts. While this high effort video got 69 views, my short got more than 3000 views. As you are saying, the editing takes a lot of time 😊
Great to see you back :) The movie seems to have an interesting plot. I also like your editing style, using short clips with lines taken out of context.... I imagine that suits you, as you probably know many movie lines like the back of your mind. I wonder how likely one is to get copyright claimed or blocked doing so with these brief clips, I see many channels do it. Can you review How To Kill A Child? Ta Puedo Uno Nino or something like that, love that one.
Let's see for how long 😂 Right now I am mainly aiming for a number. These videos have low view counts, low engagement and high effort - a pretty terrible combo. But I have mainly done the series because I have enjoyed doing them 😊 Also, getting them to be rated "ok for advertisers" has also stopped mattering 😊 Three more to go! Thanks for the support though 😊
@@TheEbbemonster I had my recent Ninja Turtles sparring video blocked worldwide because of an 8bit cover of the Turtles theme song, which I had even altered the speed of, not only demonetised but blocked... I had to use some generic music from the RUclips library instead. I don't earn anything much from RUclips, but I don't wanna risk havcing an upload blocked.
Ha ha, well it is hard where to set the limit between horror and thrillers. It is pretty similar to movies like Turistas, A Perfect Getaway, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer and Single White Female. Also, is The Thing horror or scifi? I American Psycho a drama etc. 😁 I think this one fits along the many other travelsploitation movies I have reviewed, and then I don't care so much if it is more thriller than horror. Both Dreadcentral.com and Bloody-disgusting.com have actually also reviewed it, and they are dedicated horror ressources.
@@TheEbbemonster Thats a good point. I fx think Vertigo and Psycho are horror movies because they are incredibly creepy although seemingly nothing supernatural happens. A standard method to see if it is a horror movie is to see if there is a monster
I just checked IMDB and it calls Influencer "horror" as the first choice. It also calls Star Wars "scifi" instead of "fantasy". He humans love to try to classify things, but there are just so many gray zones 😊
@@TheEbbemonster I have made my own review here. I pretty much agree with you. Excellent pacing and atmosphere ruclips.net/video/3PRhLiTT8tg/видео.htmlsi=JRBrWEKXMXhZ1ON5
Also, you could do a TMNT movie review series on this channel? It'd take time, but it'd probably perform well, and I'd be down to watch. :)

Same story over and over again, they have become a censorship machine.
Missing passport is one thing - ridiculously expensive plane tickets are in the world of their own XD.
Well, the travel insurance will cover those!
Now I want to be spoiled. Guess I'll have to wait for this to be available in Netflix ^.^
Ha ha, having seen all the Horror Movie Showdowns you should be able to make an educated guess 👻
With all that stuff about her ahole BF and the fact she was sad. The movie should have been called Filter.
I don't mean to be rude but how is this a horror movie?
