You inspired me to give this mic another try. I'll test it with a few different devices and see what output I get because in your video it sounds great, but not in mine so I'll see.
I got my sister this for christmas to use with her switch aswell as a usb extension so she can walk anywhere she wants lol. you made it sound like i made the right purchase.
I use a standalone capture card for my gaming channel, which only has a 3.5mm input for a mic/headset. I don't think I can use big, high-powered, USB mics - now something like this, might just work.
This mic is great when it doesn't go crazy and output massive amounts of static. All my drivers are up to date and not the issue. Only happens with this mic.
Man I was told that you should not connect it to a mixer due to the discrepancies in electric current. I'm buying just because I see you can use a mixer/audio interface.
honestly the 20 foot cable is more of a con for me. I fail to understand why these mics even have built in cables instead of being build like the ETM-001, or at least why more of the higher end lav mics aren't, since you can always extend, but you can't remove cable length without bundling it like you clearly did at numerous points in this video. with a 20 foot cable or even a 10 foot cable you are GOING to trip on it at some point, and as lightweight as it is, you're not necessarily going to fall, but the mic and/or headphone jack it's plugged into isn't going to survive, having a detachable cable would alleviate or possibly eliminate many of these concerns. I've had several different brands of lav mics, and all of them would start to have ground loop noise over time that they didn't have when i first got them, which i can only attribute to a short developing inside of the wire.
Thank you for making this tutorial. I am looking for a quick solution. I have plan to buy one SM7B for sure along wtih Rode Podcaster Pro, but at the moment, my budget is not permitting me. So, I want to know if I buy this Movo LV1-USB Lavalier Microphone, will it work with my PC (Windows 10) Kindly guide me.
Is the 3.5mm connector TRS or TRRS? Thanks. The current product picture on Amazon looks like it has a TRRS connector which should not work with the USB dongle and Camera input. I am just wondering.
ok. The information is great but unfortunately, you didnt show how to use it with the Iphone which, that was the info i was looking for. Nonetheless, great content for people who uses it with all other equipment.
Not sure what I was doing wrong but there’s a really bad zhhzzzzhhhhzhhhh sound (lmaoo) that I really cannot solve when using this through my computer ! I’m surprised that you were able to get a clean audio!
It sounds great, it juts sucks that it needs a battery. That ruins it for me since not only it is inconvenient but also, those batteries are exorbitant (bang-for-buck-wise) at least where I live, and I'm imagining that this device isn't very economical for a battery that size which means frequent battery replacements. With those batteries at like 1€ (at least), after juts 10 batteries, you will have paid 50% of the price of the mike... Why would they do that instead of using a cable for energy? In the age of USB especially... Go figure

Thank you so much I love filming but never had a good mic. This video helped out alot
thanx for the review dude I just bought one
👍Very helpful. Thank you. 💝
Have you ever thought of using a lav mic for console gaming??....maybe we should....
What usb dongle did you use? Though it was mentioned in the video i didn't find it in the description.
@@iamgonnahelpyou9694 you know not really sure, it came with it. But it looks like a standard dongle you could get for cheap.
@@LoKnows Oh, that's good to know. Thank you.

$20! Superb video.
Subbed because you had the fur windshield described as a dead cat in the description box! 🤣🤣🤣
lovely review, thanks
Thanks for the video. It looks like it's a rebrand of the BOYA mic.
By the way, can you share how you do the cool blue backlight?
Thanks!
It's probably a bulb 💡 in a lamp facing the wall.
Awesome review but the mic itself is not 20 bucks it's 50 bucks here in Canada.

Had you tried the tonor tc-777 if yes is it better than tc-30? And also what’s the best webcam for a starter ?
I'm hoping this mic picks up ambient noise,.. (wind [in trees], birds, rain, thunder)... does it? Please advise. Thanks. :)
If not this one specifically would it be possible to use a lav mic on ps5?
Thank I want this for my channel just ordered it
Any solution for the bad sound like zzzzhhhhzzzzhhhh. I can't solve it. HELP
Looks very similar to the Boya BY-M1 microphone
Which is the better one ?

I can’t tell you which one it is, but for sure it worked with my camera and dongle.
You can see at 2:02 that it’s a trrs male connector.
There's a switch on it to switch between smartphone and camera, essentially turning that TRRS into a TRS.
Is the battery rechargeable
no
I just got mine on Amazon....it was around $12
where can i find batteries for the lav mic

Exactly the same here. Any solution?

You're walking around but I see no cable.
That was my question also.
