Dunno if anyone gives a shit but if you guys are bored like me during the covid times you can watch pretty much all the latest series on InstaFlixxer. Have been binge watching with my brother these days xD
Really good video, the sound of the car is amazing, the track is really really good, and the interior looks really well, but the think I don't understand is why the driver is going so slow, it was first/second time in the track?
I love the stripped out interiors of these cars, just a carbon fibre dash and a big chunky gearshift. Beats me how the drivers ever have time to take their hand off the wheel to change gear. It would be interesting to have a speedo so we could see how fast they're going.
+AndreiTupolev It's verycommon for drivers to disengage the speedo of their cars to get even faster, cause they don't know their actual speed. If they want to know the actual speed in a certain corner, they remember the rpms and the gear they were in and ask an engineer for the current setup to calculate the speed over the gear ratio.

+EvendimataE When you strip them down, they are quite light weight. Add in that the4y are rear wheel drive as well, and have engines that tune up very well, and you get a good little race car, for easy money. The same goes for the old Ford Escort of the same time period, and the Toyota corolla of '86. On top of that, there's a ton of cheap tuning parts for all those cars as well.
Was the original video recorded on 50fps? For some reason some of your 60fps vids seem fast forwarded. Not the usual 60fps effect. Or is it just the fov?
Oooo.... 3:50 was painful to watch 😖 Not sure if he forgot to rev match or if he's unable to heel toe and needed his foot on the break. Someone below said he wasn't heel/toeing but it sure looks like he is to me but after I saw that downshift Im starting to believe the pedals are spaced too awkwardly for him to do it. I seriously doubt it's due to a lack of skill...
Tolle selektive Strecke. Rene bewegt den kraftvollen Boliden am Limit. Danke fürs Hochladen.
that burnout at the start was legit. good videos as always.
Wow, 7,8 Kilometer Hillclimb is awesome! It looks much fun! Great run!
One of your best vids yet!
Thank you!
Awesome. Would love to see more onboard videos!

Blows my mind. Just superb!

shame uk hillclimbs are so pathetically short in comparison , that is a road to enjoy for sure ..love it
Thank you!

+onpsxmember that is so freaking cool.. I never knew that.
thx. Why is my comment there twice...damn YT.
what a beautiful hillclimb track!
That engine sounds so good
Ach schön, die erste Autobahn in den Bergen.
Die A 666. Da wirste ganz geil bei.
+Feuerbasis Du auch? *hahaha*
Geiles Video! Heizt einem sogar beim Zukucken ein. :-)
1hp/2.4kg awesome car. so much power !!!!
top engine. cylindrehead shortened vom omega or 400 manta or ascona? who is the enginebuilder?
what is it that make the opel kadette popular on hill climbs and other motor sports? in manila the 4 door version of that was used as taxi cab

Wunderbar!
sieht stark nach zf-getriebe aus!!?
that's a real weapon man.
Thinking to do a 2 liter swap at my kadett c
Nice car, good driver, good track, nive video.
What is the engine code for this motor??
Nice video! The only thing I don't understand is why the driver lets go of the brake pedal to blip the throttle. Why not just heel-and-toe?
It can be tricky in some cars, and for people with the wrong size feet! Still, that's all I was watching the whole video...
+Svenimal I was thinking the same!He could have easily used that technique.
i can feel the adrenaline like im the one behind the wheel, what a thrill!
What's the redline of that monster?
8500
Which engine ? C20let ?
nice kadett!
C20XE ???

+eforsblom guess it just looks like that afterall. Wasn't as bad fullscreen. weird :D
Thanks for the info, I will check it! The record is done in 50i.
Thanks for sharing!
SUPER!!!!!
Nice driving!
Seems to be a sound to image stagger no ... :/ ?
Warum hat er ein M-Power-Logo am Helm?
Alter das Dingen liegt mal wie ein Brett. Man sagt ja nicht umsonst, 4 Räder und ein Brett, fertig ist der C Kadett 😅
wow in the end he was going for it! awesome
Lightweight - lightweight! :D
Pals struggle It looks for me like perfect vmdeo side !

Man, I've never even seen a road like this. The roads in the central united states are so boring :(
I'd saw off my arms and legs to drive like that!
It does neither hit 8000 revs. This is less than 300 hp for a 2.0
that induction noise :D
very nice , i want to see him against nikki schelle from grip tv show , i think he cant match
just another day in the office
Extremely short gears
It's hardly a 'Hillclimb' if 7 out of 7.8km of the course is downhill.. lol, great video btw.
2.0 16v "turbo"
+maxime vitry Can you hear the turbo? You cannot, because there isn't any.
+Mark O Yeah, 150 hp per litre is entirely possible.
+Mark O
I definitely heard SOMETHING that sounded like a blow off valve.
But there is no turbo... 100% n/a
OOOOO, where is the heel&toe ? Are you a real driver ? What a shame....
magnifique!!
