One of the best moments for me as a pastor was this past summer when I was able to go down to the Spurgeon library and met the guy you mentioned briefly in this video. Such a great guy, and he's apparently working on a book talking about the pastoral ministry of Spurgeon which hasn't really been written on much. Also, did you add a hair light? VIdeo content and look were great!
Thanks Dean. Wondering about a video of your best Puritans works. Not the paperbacks the full works i.e Flavel, Sibbes, Brooks, Bridge, Manton, Charnock, Swinnock, Owen etc.
I don't know if you did a video on your favorite systematic theology books, but that would be nice. Maybe one on the doctrine of salvation or the trinity. I starting reading on the person of God and trinity recently and it's blowing my mind.
Thanks Dean, totally agree, Spurgeon is greatness. As you mentioned, that sermon series set is a real bargain. I’ve got a nice 2 book set of his autobiography from Banner of Truth. Another good one by Tom Nettles is “The Child Is Father Of The Man. Lastly, have you seen or read his sermon series “The New Park Street Pulpit”?
A couple corrections:
1. I meant 19th century not 18th. 🙄
2. My set of Spurgeon’s sermons is published by Hendrickson.

I haven’t read them, but I know of them. Man, the history of that little church!! Keach, Gill, Rippon, AND Spurgeon. Just crazy.
Do you have the CSB Surgeon Study Bible?? I love mine so much, my church gave me it as a gift.
I did a review about it because it is so interesting.
No I don’t. I’ve looked at them though and they seem pretty cool.
@@Underdogtheology I won't share the link, but you can go find my review if you want to 😉
