I often say that starting a new project (hopefully out of your experienced domain) makes you feel that you are lost in the forest. It is a difficult feeling, but it presents the opportunity of learning and strive to the next level. I often maintain an internal project blog where I blog my feelings and reactions towards various events, meetings, people, and situations in a way that makes me write a project story to learn from and share with others. Dr. Mike, this is another great video that I will be referring to while starting a new project. Thank you very much.
Ali - first off, great metaphor. It reminds me of something Dawn Mahan told us, in one of the interviews I did with her: ruclips.net/video/QH-mO5FTmFo/видео.html But more important, your practice of keeping a personal blog is excellent and more professionals should get into a similar habit of regular reflection and journalling. It's not just how we learn, but it's how we build on experience to create wisdom. Thank you for your thoughtful comments.
