The main tool is RaceChrono Pro. The GPS data is from a 10hz receiver, the car data is from a K-Pro v4 ECU. They transfer the data via Bluetooth to a phone running RaceChrono. It's a really good tool.
@@kevtalbot137 Thank You Love the video! Great driving. I'm looking to get K-Pro soon. I've used sony action cams w/gps for racing motorcycles in the past with a similar overlay. Currently using an Android double din with a bluetooth obdII transmitter running torque race pro. Its a cool way to have all your important data displayed live & when people get in their jaw drops. lol
@@garrettsmith8286 I use a Sony FDR-X3000 now, I'm finding it much better than the Hero5black I was using previously. Mainly the sound but also the optical stabilisation. Live timing isn't allowed on track days, so I have the phone in the glovebox, quietly collecting it's data.. If you like data, definitely get the v4 so you can transmit via BT. It's refresh rate is so much higher than the obd senders.
@@garrettsmith8286 They're not factory no. I still have a lot of wiring in the car including speakers and the toll road card reader from Japan. Many KG to be stripped.
Nice driving and great camera location.
Great driving mate. Mind if I ask what FD you running and also what telemetry device/software ya using? Thanks!
Thanks man. I'm using the racechrono pro app linked to my kpro ecu for the rpm/ throttle and a gps receiver for the laptimes/speed.
FD is a 5.46
Everyone get out the way Kevin's coming through
Where did you mount the camera? really nice angle
It's on a custom bar that mounts from the interior light down to the floor. It has a slider in it to allow height adjustment.
what gps screen overlay are you using?

@6:04 pfff don't stay on the way if you are on "balad"...
I have no idea why he was on that part of the track.. He should be over on the right hand side. I suspect he was blocking..
