Nice to see the breakdown and brass tacks of a lease. The school I worked at put 16 hours on each helicopter a day X 14 R-22
3 Enstroms and a mix of Bells & Hughes - We did 25 hr oil changes and inspections and it save a lot of headaches in the long run. Flying mechanics do so much better then the "A&P" only types.

For Snoopy, I bet you've only flown Robinsons and lost your dice roll... 45+ years and I've never gotten "burned" for a bad call.

Why does Robinson put they’re rotor blades so high above the cockpit ?

      Question for the manufacturer.

R22/44 use a 2 blade design, which is on a teetering hinge. It means the blades have a much higher vertical movement range, so the rotor is mounted high so it can't hit the tail. Other two blades (bell 206 etc), have the engine mounted high, so you don't see it visually like you do on the robinson's.

Why would you even consider buyer or leasing? Expensive and out of reach of most.

I spent less than $100 operating my quadcopter FPV sims in the last 9 months.
I think I spent about $80 buying about 4 more of them just for the heck of it off Steam.
Now, I suppose I spent a little money on electricity to power the computer, but since I do tons of other things on it, the electricity was kind of marginal.
For $107,000... I could of bought a very nice house. Or... geez.. how much gold or stock? Probably immediately retire on $107,000 in the bank.

2008-2009 - people were not buying anything. Nothing was moving. You could bargain and haggle over a lot of things. Cash is king.. and people were not spending their cash. Haggled on the price of my Rolex watch. 🤑
"They" sure won't be doing a 'credit crunch' again. 😐
