    I got into film because
    1. Of true B&W film photography. Not just a digital sensor set to B&W
    2. I figured out how to develop and scan my own B&W
    3. B&W is a lot cheaper than color
    4. Digital makes film cheap. I doing a No Film June so that I can save more film for my trip next month.
And yes, I shoot and develop color too.

You have to wonder what Kodak is thinking about when they raised their prices! I bought Three rolls of Kodak for about $42 as supposed to a roll of Four rolls for the same last year!
I get the positioning thing and that premium film isn’t going to discourage anyone to certain level of shooting film photography but it makes you think twice in buying it if you are a first time film photographer?
Great thoughts brother! Keep up the new look you have going on here!

They are thinking they have bills to pay. They will lower prices when people stop buying.

I hope you want to collaborate here, I’d love to give you an episode any time you want to share your wisdom. That’s another reason I made this short. So that it encourages guest photographers to record an episode :)

@@musa7606 I wonder if when they’ve satisfied all the hiring, and production they expanded into if they actually will lower prices. I’m worried they’ll just say “hey they’re paying these prices and sales seem steady so…..”
