I have one of these with a metal strap... I cant thank you enough for showing me what batteries it requires. I have a massive watch collection and the batteries died a long time ago. I took them out to stop them leaking and lost them. Its been sat in a watch box for years.. it looks awesome now thanks to you :)

great review ,i have a fossil matrix with a leather band ....my watch functions but not the matrix animations .....it is really a collectors watch edition can't agree more on that....

Hello, I have a detail with JR-8653, the animation stopped turning on, now that I got everything batteries and a new strap, I changed but the animation still does not turn on, which I realized has a short because I left the battery on for a while Later I saw that from 3v it already had 1.8, the analog time works well
I recently got a hold of this watch for myself after years of searching since I first saw it about 12 years ago. I was wondering isn't the code supposed to be brighter? You can clearly see the code only when light is flashed, in the dark it doesn't illuminate, it's like you need to come really close to notice it's the matrix code is that normal or its because it's so old it's sorta faded??
