    Back in the day, car antennas were on the front passenger side to minimize visual obstructions for the driver. I think that’s which side I would choose.

    How did you hook up power?

      It comes with a 12v plug and I mine into one of the plugs in the center console.

    How do you adjust the swr on that antenna?

      There’s an Allen screw. Once I done you can raise or lower the antenna slightly to adjust SWR.

    What do you mean that's it for this one? You didn't even plug it in how are you supposed to use it with no electricity

    Rugged Radios sells an antenna bracket that uses the hood hinge bolts. They sell passenger or driver side for less than $40
    The sell a radio mount that uses the seat bracket bolt and mounts radio just about where you put it without holes or tape.
