"Butter" felt like a tongue-in-cheek response from BTS to music-listeners at large.
On one end they were tempting the haters to try NOT be attracted to them or moved by their music.
On the other end they are acknowledging the enormous numbers of followers all over the world and saying they will keep giving them what they love . . . the boys themselves and their music.
It was cool listening to Jenna talk about where some of the ideas originated and I can see even more clearly how this song draws in fans of all ages. Great interview, MTV . . . thanks!
