Man! You just gave me an idea or thought of a title for a Pac album called enemy of the states!!! With Pac being born into a bloodline and family tree of panthers that would’ve been a perfect name for an album had he lived.
@@Mr.International82 it is good. I like it. On a side note. His mother was also real AF her battles were even more severe than his. What she triumphed over and had the strength to handle was remarkable
So this is probably the the most underrated 2Pac song and yet the beat and his voice makes it arguably the greatest song simply for the intensity, passion and it’s eerie prediction of death coming for him(will I live to be 23). The last verse just made it seemed like he had come to grips that death was around the corner and he had made peace with it. RIP to the greatest Pac
Underrated? how do you rate his songs? I think it is nearly impossible to rate his songs? He brings something new in all his songs, just go trought them and you will surprised again and again.. all good if you listen to them legend
@@IamSonyanddumb Not underrated to me because I’m not a Johnny come late to Tupac music!!! I don’t think there is a Pac song that I don’t know word for word. With that said I’m talking about to new listeners to Pac music, you rarely hear this song mentioned if you asked people what is your favorite Tupac song. In fact in the East Coast (pre death row, right shortly after Above the Rim came out) this was considered to be a street anthem!!!!! This song resonated with me so much I use to listen to it every morning before going to class. So this song is underrated from the standpoint that you would have to be a real Pac fan to say this is high on the list of best Pac songs. Don’t believe me? Ask a casual Pac fan and this song almost never is in the list of top songs.

So many songs of pac that i have never heard, you learn something new about this mysterious pac! legend what he speak of back in the 90s! he always surprises you in his songs! Imagine what he would have done if he was alive today....
Baby! I hate to burst your bubble and sometimes maybe this happens because there’s a specific message you were to receive from this but it’s, “I was born to raise hell, a nigga from the gutter, word to mother, Im touched, I’m kicking dust up ready to bust. Im on the scene steady mugging mean until they kill me, I’ll be living this life, I know you feel me. It’s so much pain.’ 💋 “I’m touched” means like “touched in the head” meaning crazy. He’s saying he’s born crazy, a little touched FYI
The lyrics are wrong here as they frequently are with these older songs, particularly with Pac songs. It’s “I was born to raise hell, a 🥷 from the gutter, word to mother, I’m touched, I’m kicking dust up ready to bust…’ What the people who type up the lyrics are missing is how slang changes and certain phrases because they are 90’s slang they wouldn’t necessarily understand because it’s old slang. Pac says he’s ‘touched’ meaning like ‘touched in the head’ meaning crazy. Idk if that’s slang it’s more a thing older people say but frequently they get Pac wrong. ✌🏽
I wonder do ppl know this song was about a girl that lived in Chicago she was the 1st and 2nd girl questioned by Homicide 80s/90s. I can't believe this song is a classic.m❤❤🎉🎉 Pac motivated and inspired her dealing wth all that was going on. Thanks Pac 4 speaking up for blk girls..🎉🎉❤❤❤

Typical Pac over-delivering for a soundtrack. The song is based on the character Birdie from the film. Yet it turns out to be among his very best tracks

Great reaction! Got another great Pac song for you ‘Grab The Mic’ original. In my opinion one of Pac’s best song💯🔥 you can find the original version on my page!
Alot of people don't know the story behind this song. He wrote it after accidentally killing a 12 yr old kid during a shoot out in NY at the piers. That's why he said "he was so young but still a victim of the 12 gauge, my memories of a corpse, mind full of sick thoughts and i aint going back to court".
Damn I remember hearing about that story when I was younger! Didn't Pac give the family some money or something? I gotta do my research on that story. Forgot all about it bro
I just read the other day that the payout was five hundred gs. That and legal problems was why he was always broke. Anyhow, I know most of Pac's work, and I mean most of it. This song is EASILY top ten for me, maybe top 8. Much Love. -Dirty G-
I think he was 22. Yeah his passion and intensity is still unmatched till this day.
So young but so cold wit the bars! I miss Pac! Rip to the great one!
