I learned the hard way, you definitely need to use this tool on your mat or a glass mat, it melted right into my regular crafting mat (I use a quilt cutting mat). Great tips, thx!

Sorry to hear that Kate! Yes, glass mats or heat resistant mats are a must. =)

I love this tool from wrmk!! Definitely one of my favourite, & I have many. I would recommend a couple of tips :- when your fusing use a glass mat for convenience & als the thicker the better, a normal plastic sleeve does work providing it’s not too flimsy. I’m just in the process of buying another tool from wrmk (the pom Pom maker) I love 💕 all their products!!

Greetings, can this tool be used on a 8 gage vinyl? I would like to make pockets for my stencils.

Don't know if this'll get answered but: Will this fuse lamination pouches? I know, it sounds odd but I want to be able to divid my lamination pouches into smaller sections (while keeping it in one piece to kind of make pockets within the pouch) so that I can put little pieces of paper, photos, etc. in so that it is then easier for my to feed it into my laminator without all the papers sliding around in the pouch before I can feed it into the machine. Would the fuse work for that?

Hi! We’ve never tested it on lamination pouches, but it seems like it would work. If you give it a try let us know how it goes.

Should have been better designed. You basically have to jump through hoops to get this thing to semi-work. You guys really need to QA your products better and ensure they are quality products because half the stuff I buy from you guys don't work as marketed or you have to jump through hoops to only get mediocre results. You can do better and should, especially since you've gotten enough of my money over the years.

We’re sorry to hear that. We’ve gotten a lot of positive feedback from so many crafters about the fuse. We recommend contacting our customer service team via email here: info@americancrafts.com. They can offer some tips for success and troubleshoot any potential problems.
