You can definitely make other shapes. When it first came out, I made shaker ornaments. I die cut the shape, filled and traced the shape to close. it was super cute and pretty easy once I got the hang of it. Thanks for all the ideas and tutorals.

I found that my sealing tool sticks until it gets really warm then it rolls better. My tool is very loved, it’s now a copper color. Thanks for the inspiration!!! ❤

Okay, I’m slowly getting convinced that I may need this. On your last video, I was saying no. Now I’m rethinking. I’m not going shopping for it, BUT if it happens to be in a store where I’m shopping, it may end up in my cart. Lol

LoL 😂 that's why I bought one. I was at Tuesday Morning a few years ago, it was there and I was buying pocket pages. I used it once so far 😅

@@DiEtta Hello 👋 yeah the fuse I have didn't want to roll consistently. I'll have to go back and try it again. It could have been the quality of the pockets but I wonder if I have the first iteration of fuse that had issues 😕 I really like the envelope board too and I just love that little pocket maker 😃 I mostly make flap envelopes with it. Every now and then I'll make a notch pocket. It was inexpensive at TM a few years ago. Wouldn't it be nice if WRMK was a hit every time? I don't like this 50/50 chance of buying it and it actually working well 😂

I tried it on thicker plastic. Did not work at all. But it might take some practice.

😊I’m so happy this is working out! I gotta get one now! Thank you Vianney for your thorough review on this product, so many times we just need to step back, play around and figure it out. You always do this for us. Thank you, thank you, thank you 😊

Awww, Caprice! Thank you so very much! With this guy, thicker is better. I tried using some cheaper, thinner stuff...it's just not great. (:

I have had issues using the slit in the ruler, as well. Much easier to just use the outside edge! your shaker looks so cute in your book!

Buying stuff aimed at paper crafters is annoyingly expensive. But if you just shop the hobby section where an item originates, the prices are much more reasonable. The Fuse Tool was never a nifty new invention; it was a repurposed wood burner/soldering iron.
It’s a good rule of thumb to figure out where “ new” paper crafting supplies originate because usually paper crafting companies mark supplies up by a lot. You can buy a soldering iron for like $10. I’ve seen The Fuse for as much as $45 though these days it is typically about $25.

@@rtd1791 Excellent advice, I will use it, ty, I had an idea some things were not new ideas, the prices craft companies charge can be alarming, I usually use a cpn or wait for a sale.

I have this WRMK Fuse tool. I'm pretty sure I bought it with an autoship because I got a bunch of the tips. Each autoship we got a different tip and some material to make cards and stuff. I've used it here and there. I'm with you on the ruler. I just use the edge of it. I like it for a traveler's notebook. Great idea!

I agree with you about WRMK seeming to release product before it’s ready. Love their punch boards but it’s pretty much a fail for me on much of their other stuff. So many craft dollars wasted! I no longer consider them a quality company; shame. I do own a fuse tool. In fact, I purchased 2 to gift one and then never did. Been awhile since I’ve played with it and need to try again. Thanks for the video!

They were a quality company under the original owner. Once he sold it, they started coming out with tons of new products very quickly and quality has been iffy for years. So sad when that happens.

You can do the second side with a horizontal fuse I. The middle and leave ends open for rinestone storage pockets too.
