Deserves every bit of success that comes his way. One of the few that actually speaks his mind, admits when he's stuffed up and has great insights into the game we all love. Keep it up Kane and don't let Channel 7 neuter you.

I believe a lot unfairly judge Cornes, I thoroughly respect someone who can stand up for what they think or believe. Even when the opinion cuts against the grain. Great interview by Howie.

nah he's just a self righteous shock jock. But a pretty good media performers, but its not very genuine. Its all about ratings. I laughed at how he was asked whether he regretted the comments he made. Clearly Howie's question meant comments he'd asked that had upset people. Did he regret the ramifications and hurting others etc? Classic Cornes too it as meaning whether he regretted saying something and then being proven wrong. Me Me Me...Said quite a bit. But he does communicate clearly.

Best in the business this guy. Kane is hands down the best media analyst in Australia in my opinion. We lost Bruce and Dennis , but Kane comes next. His mind for footy and how he articulates himself is phenomenal.

    Kane is a superstar.
Kane holds accountability to the AFL, it's clubs and players.
I genuinely love consuming his content. He's so interesting and entertaining!
Kane has also has a funny side; on Fireball Fridays and the Sunday Footy Show.

Should also say I am a Crows fan .. I am a 100% supporter of Kane after his incredible run to raise money for kids with cancer.
My young son died of leukemia at 4 years old. He would have loved to see it! Love u little Jedi ❤
Funniest quote in this podcast, Kane on why he left the fire brigade "People aren't just lighting fires every day" 😂

How can't you just respect Kane. The people that sook about him have zero opinions and would rather talk behind people's backs. And if you're a fan and don't like him, it's probably due to the fact he said something true about your club or your favourite player.

Massive fan of Kane...his usually well thought out, hard hitting and honest comments are cut up for headline snippets which generates all of the hate, such a shame to see but I get the feeling he doesn't mind!
Eagles fan so happy to cop it from him at the moment 😂

Re Geelong vs Port match, I always felt that Geelong was easily the best. Port was lucky to reach the grand final. I felt that Port tried to play mind games before the match, to put off Geelong and distract. But they were never going to win, but their only chance was to play with Geelong's minds. But it backfired in that Geelong played well and then put the foot down in the last quarter as they were determned to teach Port. lesson for their lack of respect. That was my view of why they lost by 125 points approx. Sounds like there was more to it.

I think the criticism of Cornes is that he sometimes tries too hard to say something controversial to drive engagement, and this sometimes leads him to say something that doesn't really stack up. He is the product of modern media incentives in that regard.
If you say something crazy that causes 1 million people to react and engage, even if they're all slamming you, that's much more rewarding than if you say something benign but accurate that doesn't get a reaction. You can see this calculus on display everywhere (particularly on SEN).
