Why are the people from the "country" so down to earth, polite, respectful and genuine human beings?
So down to earth because they have learned to deal with life as it comes and to be content with what they have. Empathetic to others problems. ❤
Most of them would run a mile to not be seen together with an LGBTQ person. Sure, they have empathy for their fellow rednecks.
I love Dolly Parton because she has been vocal in her support for the LGBTQ community. Garth Brooks, in not so many words, has told anti-gay bigots to stay away from his new bar. Can't wait for the likes of Toby Keith to retire.
They were raised to be more respectful to others.

Kevin Skinner's audition shut everyone in the audience up almost immediately after they had spent a solid 4-5 mins basically making fun of him. I called it that night he would win. One of the best first time on stage auditions I have ever seen.

Omg this song about his father made me cry like a little girl it hit my heart heavy
I loved the sentiment of the song. I'm a former State Trooper, and I've seen the aftermath of what drunk drivers can do. I've had to be the one to knock on door(s) and tell wives (one was pregnant), mothers and fathers that their loved one won't be coming home....ever again. So, while I thought his song and performance was great (great voice) that song brought back more than a few bad memories.
People in the country side are downe to earth because they know and accept that we all are made in God's image and are equal and therefore must respect and love each other every where.
Our parents raised us to know how to treat other as we wanted to be treated Raised with lots of love

Love Milton!!! I am not far from Forrest City, where he is from… there is nothing there. You literally have no choice to look elsewhere! He makes me proud in this. And I’m not even family. But my son spent a year in a facility there. I visited at least twice a week. When I see this man on stage, I cry… he got out! ❤❤
I grew up on listening to country music and love hearing new acts. Almost impossible getting a look in Nashville, very few make it through and even some who do only last a short time. This youtube video was great, Chaple Hart was my pick.
