Similar experience with mmt. The government should regulate this travel booking companies, as we all are vulnerable to fraudulent ways of these companies.
Could not agree more. For my 1 trip, duplicate payment has been processed and now I am just not able to contact their customer service team. But if you want to book a new booking then you can quickly connect to the representative. Disgusting 🥺. Will never book from MMT ever again

It happened to me as well. I paid the money to mmt. On the day before travel, they called me and told me that airline did not confirm my ticket. And told me to book a ticket and will refund the money, which never happened.

I also got into same problem but immediately got refunded because I booked from IRCTC Air. Although it came late but eventually it came. In my case, makemytrip agent canceled our return trip from leh and started blaming AirIndia. Customer care at airindia gave us IATA code and the time at which the agent canceled our ticket. We called makemytrip agent on other phone and made her interact with customer care of AirIndia and then she wrote email to her superiors and agreed that it was agent who cancelled with no reason .even after admitting this mischief, their superiors calls us trying to convince that it was airline fault. We stuck on our ground as we had recorded all the calls.

Sir Please confirm customer care number of MMT because I more trying to contact him but cl disconnect, I booked my tickets from Ahmedabad to Varanasi on 25/03/2020 and return ticket was 10/04/2020 but due to lockdown both flights cancelled, we discussed with IndiGo he told that we also returned your amount to #MMT but still we haven't received any amount from MMT, and no body is responding.
I tried to book a domestic flight via mmt. Flight did not get booked at the last minute it came as error however money deducted. I tried to contact the number available but its either incorrect or not available. There is no way we can reach out to their customer service. Email came as delivery failed. Im asking help with my bank now. Don't know what else to do.

Thanks, we are not sad. It's just terrible that companies like MakeMyTrip are cheating customers and there is no rule by the government to teach them a good lesson. This is not just about us! Their whole business model seems to be based on looting customers instead of earning loyal customers.

I had booked 2 way ticket from BOM to CDG (Paris France), and paid extra ₹9k for flexible. Now I want to cancel the return ticket but they are saying you won’t get any refund for the cancellation. And even for rescheduling the ticket they are asking me to pay extra amount. To fir wo flexible ke ₹9k ka kya hi matlab? Please guide what to do.
Try to contact the airlines directly and get their response about the cancellation policy. Once the airline agrees to fully/partially refund your money then you can talk to MMT and ask why are they not refunding your money. Hope you get your money back 🙂

Hard to say without knowing all the details. Just go through their cancellation/refund policy. Generally, they do charge some cancellation fees (in your case 22k), which is mentioned in their cancellation/refund policy. Our case was different.
I am also facing same kind of problem. I cancelled my Indigo flight ticket which i booked from MMT and gave bank details for refund. But refund came to MMT wallet. And i tried to withdraw it by giving bank details again.. till i have not received the money even after 1 week.

Very similar situation. Flight canceled by the airline itself ( Alliance air) and refunded the money to MMT but no refund by MMT to us.

Yes, MMT have made it quite difficult to reach customer care. Somehow I reached to Customer care via their Twitter handle.

Bro according to supreme court all airlines and agents have to pay back the refund for the lockdown period. You can take legal action agnaist them

Hard to say without knowing all the details. Just go through their cancellation/refund policy. Generally, they do charge some cancellation fees (in your case 22k), which is mentioned in their cancellation/refund policy. Our case was different.

I am also facing same kind of problem. I cancelled my Indigo flight ticket which i booked from MMT and gave bank details for refund. But refund came to MMT wallet. And i tried to withdraw it by giving bank details again.. till i have not received the money even after 1 week.
