Formula One is not only the peak but also the most expensive, with its drivers receiving lavish pay packages based on their abilities and prestige. And given these large pay checks to the drivers on the circuit year after year, the highest earners tend to spend their money on ridiculous items that they prefer to keep out of the limelight.

Hamilton might have paid 15 mil for his McLaren *F1* but certainly did NOT for a P1, sorry. Additionally, that guitar, if a certified genuine Prince guitar, with history, and documentation of it being used by Prince, is easily worth 100K, that same guitar is probably worthy much more now. If that had have been a Jimi Hendrix guitar, you would be looking at 10Xs that amount, and the right mid 50s Les Paul could be 2 million dollar guitar. You obviously do not know much about the subject. I00K on vintage custom guitar made for an icon of modern music is NOTHING. A guitar used by someone only well known within the industry as a session guitarist, can be worth 50 to 100k, so to get an exotic, custom, instrument owned and played by Prince for that money is a BARGAIN.

Lewis received one of the first P1 delivered so this doesn’t make sense but the channel often gets things wrong.
Update: Lewis actually purchased a McLaren F1 (not a P1) chassis number 044 at auction for $15.6 million. The F1 was owned by Herb Chambers who owns automotive dealerships in the North East.
