Only get to Melbourne once yearly from my home near Broken Hill NSW. Have been aboard most of these models over the past 4-decades or so. Always had a soft-spot for the W2-class trams, many of which were sold to overseas locations, particularly the USA, before a ban was instituted.
A very interesting mix of old and new trams!! I believe San Francisco has an old Melbourne tram which is used on the F Historic streetcar line. Thanks Tim😀😀😀♥️♥️
To bad you missed out on the comeng z1 and z2 classes with your camera it would have sounded really good but they were retyere from service last year being replaced by the new bombardier e1 and e2 classes
Do I know all these tram models? I thought you were going to instruct us about each class of tram. You didn't. You showed a variety in scrambled order, but which class is which? I didn't bother to continue beyond minute 3.
@Bob I know this is very late but here A class 24:11 B class 24:49 C1 class 5:55 C2 class 24:31 D1 class 30:53 D2 class 13:29 E1 class 27:52 Z class 0:04 W class (city circle) 17:17
Tbf, the tramcar restaurant is just a refitted W-Class tram..... one of the few W-Class trams still operational. You can see a W-Class tram at approximately the 4:15 mark. 🙂
