These incarnons actually let those old weapons compete with the good weapons.
The Ballroom Simulacrum was a reward from Operation: Scarlet Spear, Operation: Orphix Venom, and as a treat from Nights of Naberus. So unless some new event comes, just wait for the Halloween event and buy it from daughter. 👍
It's not "OP" like the others (I blame the 2nd evolution tree not working at all and the Atomos not having sexy red crits for that tbh), it's just good or great even, that's why it's getting flak.
@@girlchildrevoIution dual ichor is definitely great, it fixed the status problem it had and makes it one of the best corpus killers, if not the best. Granted, you don't need a dedicated corpus killer for most of the content, but level cap runs, especially disruption, benefit so much from having one. I'll definitely be picking it the next time it comes around. Meanwhile Atomos is pretty underwhelming, charging the incarnon form is harder than on any other weapon, and the incarnon form itself isn't exceptional in any way, so it's essentially just a buff to the main form, which just makes it a kuva nukor sidegrade.
@@Starcanum-I can speak from experience since I grabbed it this week that Dual Ichor is easily one of the best melee weapons right now and I'd argue it sits in Glaive Prime's bracket. It can actually be used as a regular melee weapon and chews through crowd after crowd on Steel Path as if we were back in 2016 with the original unnerfed Condition Overload, it's amazing.
This and the Torid are both stupidly good in their base forms, which is nice because when the charge in their Incarnon forms run out, the fun doesn’t stop
This is how I'm hoping Incarnons are, going forward. What I'd really like is if they let you switch between Incarnon and normal mode without losing your current Incarnon charge, and just make all the Incarnon weapons good in their base form. They're already half way there with a bunch of them.

WIth the stat buffs, it's not like the base form of some of the more busted incarnons are bad...like the Torid or Latron...their incarnon form just make it completely pointless to use the base form over it. Though, I'd say, the Atomos's base form seems kinda on par with incarnon form, at least until we'll see how it really is when the bugs on it are fixed.
the atomos was my most used weapon before the kuva nukor, i never seen anyone using it either. i was pretty confused because of how good it was. but now i guess i'll be seeing a lot more.
Well this week was hard to choose. I skipped both the Toroid and Átomos for the Dual Toxicyst and Miter. Don’t regret it tho, the 2 pistols become full auto that still benefits from the innate passive and bullets bounce, and in top they now can have crits too! and the Miter saw now bounce and explode! while tracking enemies.
miter+dual toxocyst is def the better choice for high level play. atomos and torid may be "fun", but they just can't reach the level of the other two weapons.

I personally found the status and crit fourth evo to work out better, as proccing more heat ramps up damage while still critting consistently more for a damage buff
With a crit/crit dam riven taking the crit/status is awesome. I could also see grabbing the status and using it as a beaming Epitaph replacement for getting the most out of CO.

Also, we halved the stat increases on all weapons, and cut the ammo pool to 10%. See this what I want for Chroma's Spectral scream. I want it to evolve from a continuous stream attack into a single instance high intensity blast attack that scales a little bit with enemy health. It would be nice.
Plus, having your Effigy follow you about like a sentinel shooting its own beam and maybe that roar it does actually brings enemies closer rather than disperse them.
Anyone who doesn't know what the "simple trick" is for incarnons and other weapons. Damage resistances from Attenuation are partially ignored due to multiple damage instances. Prisma Lenz is another example where damage hits in multiple parts and has a delay, so acolytes melt.

I noticed that this weapon’s new form struggles against Corpus enemies, quite badly. Their shields prevent you from 1-shotting them. In my experience, it’s not even worth shooting at them. It takes every shot you have to get through a small group of shielded enemies.
I'm liking using rhino with mesa ability sub onto him or other buff and "secondary kinship" now i have it at rank 3 (13% crit per buff. max 20% per buff) before that was using "secondary encumber" with good results.
This test would look a little different in today's Warframe given the new Kuva Grineer subfaction, and their resistance to heat damage, but I do love this secondary regardless. Now to hope Plague Star doesn't vanish for 2 years again, or get rich in plat to actually *obtain* fulmination or it's prune variant. Thankfully the primed does seem like it's the last three rotations have been about every 6 months, which means it should be due to be back soon.
That being said with the blast buffs, this thing will absolutely SHRED even harder in the Incarnon form, so it probably would go just as good if not better, come to think of it.
I prefer having the ammo for the third incarnon. I have ruinous extension giving me all the range I realistically need. Having an extra 210 ammo is huge on the atomos
For clarity - Secondary Merciless at max rank gives +30% damage for 4s and stacks up to 12x. Stacks decay one at a time instead of dumping all at once after 4s, making it much easier to keep maxed. That's 360% damage. Hornet Strike adds to that because they're classed as the same part of the damage calculation formula. So for the cost of an entire mod slot, you go from +360% to +425% damage. It is technically More Damage, but +360% is Enough for most things and you can get more crit or other useful stats with that mod slot instead.
how is Brozime taking so little damage? One of these enemies would oneshot my shields and after that my health but here they only seem to do as little as 4 damage to shields.
Adaptation plus Citrine's 90% DR. He's not playing evasively so Adaptation is consistently at full power. Notice he evaporated the moment he forgot his 2 despite that.

Couple things here. I think Broz likes to slot a heat mod on stuff where it really doesn't belong. The heat mod is putting in work for the beam form, but doing virtually nothing for the aoe form vs if he put Galvanised Shot or even Crosshairs and this is often the case with his builds so they work fine for base level steel path like most things do, but could be a lot better. 2nd I think the beam form of this weapon with the new upgrades is way better than the AoE and will scale further into Steel Path than the AoE that really isn't doing much compared to Mushroom or Plinx or any other AoE secondary that could take this thing's slot and not have the crazy ammo issues Atomos has. We can see how well it performs on base Steel Path in the video, and this is without Galvanized Shot which would significantly up the damage. 3rd I think this weapon really needs to be built for either the Beam form OR the AoE form because otherwise they both suffer. It's like the beam form is an A+ and the AoE form is an A and if you build for both like in this vid they go down to A and B respectively. Finally when I said I think Brozime uses a heat mod way too often, I mean for any time he's modding a weapon that you're equipping to one shot a group of dudes, the heat mod is going to do absolutely nothing compared to (For primaries) Vigilante Armaments / Hammer Shot etc etc. and (For secondaries) Galvanized Shot, Bane mod, etc. I only started noticing this with his Lex vid where it's there to one shot a whole room of enemies but he's got PHC on which does make Number Go Up but not as much as Galvanized Shot would, not to mention just running Corrosive for the damage multiplier would end up being a lot more damage as well while Viral is swell but we're all running Viral Cat and Viral isnt helping us one shot stuff anyway without full stripping them first.

The fact that the ammo thing actively blocks your reticule when aiming is still intensely stupid as a design choice. Didn't matter so much as a beam weapon; comically pants-on-head game design for a headshot based weapon.
Its a good weapon, but between all the explosive weapons we got and the torid being a monster of a beam weapon, the Atomos doesnt really bring anything new to the table. Good weapon, mid incarnon

Honestly, I just read it as a "The Mega Buster UWU," and I had no questions until Brozime called attention to the abbreviation.
The chaining on the base Atomos also hits Charger heads very easily so it's actually easier to charge incarnon vs infested with this one

I really like the dual toxocysts as well, can’t decide on just having cold with a slash mod, or putting extra elementals

I tried it in this week's Archon defense involving Corpus. Alt form was more useless than just using the thing normally.

Why there is no Hornet Strike for 165% dmg in this build? I've seen many builds lately and somehow ppl stopped to use Hornet Strike or Serration
It's diminishing returns vs the arcanes, and to do this build he needs every slot to just get everything he wants, mechanics wise, on the gun.

Except Galvanized Shot, like all of those mods, only works on DIRECT damage, not radial AoEs. So in fact, you don't know what you're talking about.
