Honestly, it’s pretty cool. I’m a story-skipper since 2016 so idk what’s happening in this game’s story anyway, I just care about cool combat and character themes, and she’s a solid design. Not a class I’d main, but definitely see her as a contender for my new Boss Scrolls alt
Honestly same, I'm also a story skipper. I think the only part I didn't skip was related to Succ Musa lol. I'm sure they're able to rope in this characters story through the Teleporter that Marni has been messing with. It seems like we're gonna get more of her story through comic book like posts etc.
They nailed the theme and style but I hope her PvE is more enjoyable than Archer's. I really like how smooth and flowy they do Ascension, so I'm excited to try her!
I did have to look up that character since I don't know the character / game, but Noel from Blazblue seems more like a melee character? unless I'm viewing the wrong fighting game lol. Nonetheless, it's exciting that we finally have a gunner class
From what I can remember, no they don't hand out a free one with new classes. However you can get a character expansion slot with 10,000 loyalties which honestly isn't that bad since they've handed so many of them out recently. But I do know when a new class releases, they'll discount the Expansion coupon by half which is only 300 pearls.
this class have like 60% archer skills with other skin, i recognized all intantly, i was main archer for years. BDO doing the same classes but with a light rework and other skin. I love this game but its unpleyable rn.
that's fair, obviously it seems that this new class will play similarly to Archer but the aesthetic of the class really is appealing. Also the new wall ability, the rocket launcher, and huge AOE from her pistols I'm sure will be a bit different in playstyle. But I'm sorry to hear it's unplayable for you atm, hopefully the future updates will bring you back to playing the game.
Unfortunately reusing assets is something every developer does and given BDO’s size and graphical fidelity it’s no surprise that PA does it as well. I’m generally ok with reusing assets in a game like this if it is done well. And in this case, visually speaking, I think it was done well

personally I think they look far separated from Archer. I can see how some can be viewed as similar, but overall seems very different.
